Tyr Reveal Trailer

Stoke Games has today shared a new gameplay overview trailer for Tyr, their free-to-play multiplayer tank shooter. The trailer gives future players a look at how Tyr’s gameplay emphasizes strategy over twitch reflexes. Find out why positioning is key, how you can make the most of your armor by playing the angles, what role different vehicles play on the battlefield, and get a look at some fun special abilities in action.

In Tyr, teams of eight face off in tank combat, piloting a roster of specialized armored vehicles that each bring unique capabilities to the battlefield. Upgrade and evolve each tank to suit your playstyle as you learn how each tank’s unique profile can complement your team’s strategy. Focus on the vital task of spotting enemies with a mobile light tank, snipe from distance with a deadly-but-vulnerable damage dealer, wade into close engagements with a heavy, and discover plenty more ways Tyr’s tanks can turn the tide in your team’s favor.

Tyr recently expanded its private playtest community, and Stoke Games is opening the door for more players to join the fray and help make Tyr something special. Join the private playtest community at https://stoke.firstlook.gg.

“This community has been incredible to build Tyr alongside,” said Veigar Bouius, Co-Founder & Product Director at Stoke Games. “Our playtesters have helped shape this game at every step, and seeing the group grow into a community of meme slingers and competitive players has been fantastic. Their candor and feedback are invaluable, and we’re excited to see the community continue to expand.”

Set in an alternative post–World War II timeline, World of Tanks: HEAT thrusts players into a world where experimental tech and armored combat keep global conflict in check. Fully upgradeable and deeply customizable, these machines evolve with your playstyle, defining how your tank looks, fights, and dominates the battlefield.

The Last Gas Station Opens for Business

The Last Gas Station, the upcoming cozy-yet-mysterious gas station simulator developed by Alawar, is launching its first playtest today! After previous ownership disappeared, you’ve suddenly found yourself as the new manager of a gas station and quaint convenience store. It’s your job to transform this lonely, defunct gas station into a roadside wonder. One important note: the previous owner disappeared under mysterious circumstances. Might be worth keeping in mind as you open up shop.

In The Last Gas Station, electric vehicles have rendered gas stations almost obsolete, and turned gas itself into a relic lost to time. It’s your job to manage and grow this old gas station and cozy store into a thriving business for weary travellers who haven’t left gas behind just yet. Manage your gas station by stocking shelves with new goodies for hungry travellers, maintain the gas pumps, and customize the interiors and exteriors to truly make it your own. However, when night falls upon your unassuming gas station, something more sinister awakens in the wilderness. Seriously, don’t go outside.

Key Features:

  • Modernize & Expand – Rip out outdated pumps, install car maintenance services like tire inflation and oil changes, and upgrade facilities to build a fully functional roadside business.
  • Set Up Shop – Stock your shelves with snacks, car supplies, and road trip essentials. Optimize layout, improve decor, and manage pricing to turn a profit.
  • Trade & Serve – Buy and restock goods, run the checkout, and keep your customers happy if a bit uneasy.
  • Survive the Night – Lock the doors and turn off the lights. Strange things happen out here after sunset… and some of them remember you.
  • Customize Everything – Design your neon signs, decorate the store, and bring new life to your forgotten little corner of the animal world.

The Last Gas Station is a narrative-driven gas station simulator with vibrant pixel graphics and vibes that quickly shift from cozy to creepy with the drop of a hat. At its core, it’s a game about concepts rendered obsolete due to time and innovation and the effort it takes to keep something alive in a world that’s already moved on.

This new joystick has been faithfully recreated and precision-engineered for modern retro play.

Watch today’s launch trailer for THEQUICKSHOT II on YouTube here:

Originally launched in the early 1980s, the QuickShot II became a staple of home-computer gaming. Now, THEQUICKSHOT II has been rebuilt to deliver the same unmistakable feel players remember, while addressing the limitations of vintage hardware with modern reliability and responsiveness.

Designed to be played, not just displayed, THEQUICKSHOT II features an all-microswitch internal design, delivering immediate, reliable inputs with distinct click points for every direction and its fire button. This ensures precise eight-way control with no dead zones or vague movement, even during the most demanding arcade-style gameplay.

The joystick includes eight action and function buttons, providing full gamepad-style functionality, alongside a rapid auto-fire switch, a defining feature of the original which has now been engineered to modern standards. Stabilizing suction cups allow for confident single-handed play, while refined ergonomics and a generous 1.8m cable make THEQUICKSHOT II ideal for contemporary gaming setups.

Faithful to the original QuickShot II’s instantly recognizable silhouette, grip, and stance, the design has been carefully preserved rather than reimagined. Developed by Retro Games Ltd., whose hardware recreations are known for their accuracy and authenticity, THEQUICKSHOT II has been designed to sit naturally alongside modern retro systems such as THEC64, THEA500, and The Spectrum.

The Midnight Walkers Out Today in Early Access

Oneway Ticket Studios is thrilled to announce that its hardcore zombie shooter, The Midnight Walkers, is out today on PC in Steam Early Access.

The Midnight Walkers proved to be a hit during October’s Steam Next Fest, becoming one of the top ten most downloaded demos, and just last week, it surpassed 300,000 wishlists on Steam.

Locked in an enormous multifloor megacomplex during a zombie outbreak, The Midnight Walkers sees players forced into a deadly game of survival by the megalomaniac Mr Nobody. Players not only have to fight off the restless undead, but also their fellow contestants.

In this PvEvE game, players will hunt down valuable loot, and gear across several floors of the Liberty Grand Center, fending off zombies with weapons such as Sledgehammers, Bows, Katanas, and Pistols.

As each game progresses, poison gas spreads throughout the complex, forcing players to flee to new floors via stairwells or elevators, and pushing opposing players into an ever-shrinking safe space. The more enemies nearby, the harder it is to safely extract, ratcheting up the tension as players attempt to leave with their gear and their life — or leave with nothing at all.

Oneway Ticket Studios plans to update The Midnight Walkers throughout its early access period, with new weapons and floors to be added in the future, along with an entirely unique PvE mode planned for release later in 2026.

“We’re thrilled to finally be launching The Midnight Walkers,” said Ray Song, Game Director at Oneway Ticket Studios. “We’re committed to not use Early Access as a shield for incomplete quality, but to build and improve The Midnight Walkers alongside our players. We’re so excited to see players step into the harsh, zombie-filled world of the Liberty Grand Center megacomplex for the first time.”

Crimson Desert New Featurette Highlights Story, World, and Gameplay

Pearl Abyss has released a new featurette video offering an in-depth look at Crimson Desert, detailing the game’s protagonist, expansive open world and some of the game elements.

This video details story and motivation for Kliff, the game’s main character, and the continent of Pywel, a seamless open world where the story unfolds. Pywel features sprawling wilderness, bustling cities, ancient ruins and diverse regions, all set against a backdrop of escalating conflict and supernatural danger.

Players take on the role of Kliff, a warrior of the Greymanes, a faction from the northern region of Pailune known for its commitment to peace and unity. Crimson Desert begins in the aftermath of that peace being shattered, tasking Kliff with reuniting the Greymanes and reclaiming their homeland. As the journey expands, players discover that the fate of the entire continent is at stake.

A central threat emerges from the Abyss, a mysterious realm whose growing imbalance sends fragments crashing into Pywel. There are those who would exploit these remnants, pushing the world toward chaos. Restoring balance to the Abyss and confronting those who exploit its power become key elements of the narrative.

The featurette also outlines Crimson Desert’s open-world structure. Pywel is divided into five distinct regions: Hernand, Pailune, Demeniss, Delesyia and the Crimson Desert, each offering its own stories, environments and challenges. While the main quest follows Kliff’s journey, players are free to explore the world in any order, taking faction-driven quests, large-scale battles, fortress sieges and smaller, character-focused missions.

As the story progresses, two additional playable characters join Kliff. Each character features unique combat styles, skills and weapons, allowing players to experience exploration and combat in different ways.

Exploration plays a major role, with players able to traverse Pywel on horseback, climb terrain, glide across distances and later access advanced traversal options such as a missile-firing mech and a dragon. The world is filled with hidden treasures, ancient mechanisms, puzzles and points of interest designed to reward curiosity and discovery.

Combat encounters range from enemy soldiers and sorcerers to ferocious beasts and machines, testing players’ adaptability and skill. Powerful artifacts and equipment can be earned through quests, combat or exploration, while knowledge gathered from the world and its inhabitants provides clues and guidance, or even opens paths to acquire new skills.

Pre-orders are now live across PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Epic Game Store and Apple Mac.
