GRAVEN Early Access Launch Trailer

GRAVEN, the dark-fantasy action-adventure FPS co-published by 3D Realms and 1C Entertainment and developed by Slipgate Ironworks, launches onto Early Access today at 10 AM PT / 7PM CEST via Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store and other digital platforms. GRAVEN will launch fully on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch in 2022.

Tear through eldritch terrors unleashed by heretical sects and demented sinners as a disgraced Priest of the Orthagonal Order. Unjustly exiled for attacking a fellow brother upon witnessing an evil act, the Priest now follows a mission ordained by The Creator: root out the evils corrupting not just the Order, but creation itself.

Steam Early Access begins the journey with the first of three planned regions: Cruxfirth, a rotting swamptown suffering from a plague that ends either in death or violent madness. Inspired by classic shooters, immersive sims, and action RPGs, GRAVEN encourages exploration and creativity with multiple ways to take on puzzles and combat alike.

Arrive by boat with a single coin, a strange staff, and a journal, still wounded by the order’s punishment. Slay an expansive bestiary with more than 30 distinct enemies including winged abominations and horrid swamp beasts. Wield the spellbook to unleash transformative magic like lightning and melting heat, each capable of affecting the environment to solve puzzles and uncover hidden areas.

Tap into righteous fury with conventional weaponry like wrist-mounted crossbows, flails, and the peat launcher, a crude but effective explosive. Discover and purchase more than 20 planned weapons, spells, and new staff crystals that grant new abilities at full launch.

Early Access includes new quests in Cruxfirth, and multiple updates throughout the year will add additional areas, quests, enemies, and hidden secrets. Further down the line, the Priest shall no longer roam alone: GRAVEN will add split-screen co-op and online play for up to four players.

Starsand Coming to Early Access in Q4

Toplitz Productions invites players to open a doorway to a world we know nothing about in Starsand. Developed by Tunnel Vision Studio and Coming to Steam Early Access Q4 2021, Starsand is a first-person survival adventure set on a harsh desert world. Beyond the blazing sun and bleached desert, threats lurk in the sands. Players will construct weapons and defenses, fight strange creatures and explore a vast and hostile environment in their quest to return to Earth.

Inspired by classic sci-fi works like John Carter and Stargate, Starsand tells the story of a stranger in an even stranger land. A desert marathon runner seeks shelter from a sandstorm, only to wake up under unfamiliar stars, with the light of two moons gleaming in the sky, illuminating familiar pyramids far on the horizon. Survival is just the beginning. To return home, the many mysteries of this planet must be unraveled.

FUSER™ has gone…Diamond? The Headliner Spotlight update for FUSER is now live, giving players the chance to DJ as the headline act on the Diamond Stage – where 250+ friends and fans can watch them play in real-time. The free update, from developer Harmonix Music Systems, includes new social features, the launch of the Diamond Shop, a rebalanced reward economy, and more.

The biggest feature of Headliner Spotlight is the Diamond Stage: a real-time spotlight for players to mix the hits in front of an audience of hundreds of other FUSER players. Starting this week, viewers can watch the Diamond Stage 24/7 both in game and in a new FUSER Twitch channel at https://www.twitch.tv/FUSERheadliner.

Another major change in this update are some big adjustments to the in-game XP economy and currency. The new Diamond Shop gives players more options to earn and spend in-game currency on customizable items for their DJ and even new tracks to mix onstage. Diamonds can be earned in-game by participating in events either through playing or voting, and through the single-player campaign, freestyle, and multiplayer modes. Diamonds are only earnable by participating in-game, and cannot be purchased through real money transactions. Plus, Diamonds are the only way to reserve primetime slots on the Diamond Stage.

FUSER also received upgrades to its social interface with improvements to player DJ Profiles, as well as a more robust Recommendation Engine for players to find mixes that appeal to them via FUSER’s social features. Twitch Drops are now fully integrated into the game, including Nintendo Switch players now, providing players even more ways to earn content by watching other DJs perform on Twitch.

Publisher Kalypso Media and in-house developer Gaming Minds Studios have today announced that economic trade sim Port Royale 4 has launched its debut DLC ‘Buccaneers,’ allowing players to step into the shoes of a notorious 17th century swashbuckler. The new expansion is available for purchase via the Kalypso Store, Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store, with the Nintendo Switch™ version to follow later in the year. In Port Royale 4 – Buccaneers, piracy is at its peak and players will work to become an infamous 17th century Caribbean buccaneer. Marvel’s Avengers Red Room Takeover Event Now Live

Today, SQUARE ENIX® announced that the Red Room Takeover event for Marvel’s Avengers has gone live. First revealed at SQUARE ENIX PRESENTS, the single-player-focused Red Room Takeover event involves a mysterious spy who has hacked into and transformed the Avengers’ HARM Room into a deadly crimson trap. The Red Room Takeover event runs until May 31.

The Red Room Takeover starts after nearly two weeks of players investigating the “Rooskaya Protocols,” a mysterious program that has infiltrated AIM Synthoids. It is believed that Protocol Chips collected from hacked AIM tech hold the key to unraveling the enigma, but whatever, or whomever, made the Rooskaya Protocols has also corrupted the Avengers’ HARM Room. Now, players must uncover encrypted messages addressed to Black Widow from an old friend who has taken over the HARM Room, turning it from a training facility into a deadly trap. The threats are no longer virtual: players must defeat the deadly onslaught and regain control of the HARM Room.

Players who complete event-related missions with any Super Hero in their roster will be rewarded with valuable in-game resources as well as a special themed animated nameplate that any of their Heroes can use.
