Paper Cut Mansion Release Date Trailer

Thunderful & Space Lizard Studios are delighted to announce that their mysterious cardboard cut-out thriller, Paper Cut Mansion, is set to be released on 27th October 2022 for PC, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 versions will follow soon after.

In Paper Cut Mansion you play as Toby, a police detective arriving at the road leading to the eponymous old mansion. In each unique run, you will unlock new abilities and discover new equipment. This will offer you the opportunity of defining your own playstyle, in addition to giving you a better chance of overcoming the challenges each procedurally generated attempt throws your way. Intrigue is further added through a dimension-hopping mechanic that lets you leap between alternate versions of the same location that switch up the aesthetics and gameplay.

“As a small team, we’ve poured a lot of blood, sweat and tears into Paper Cut Mansion,” said Space Lizard Studios’ Gabriele Caruso. “So nothing makes me more excited than finally getting to see that effort pay off when players get their hands on it on 27th October on PC and Xbox, and very soon after that on PlayStation and Switch.”

The Chant Gameplay Overview Trailer

Join Creative Director Mike Skupa as he deep-dives into what makes The Chant a cosmic horror action-adventure game you don’t want to miss when it launches this fall. The Chant will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on Nov. 3, 2022.

What is The Chant? We’ve met the enigmatic and colorful cast of characters, explored the nooks and crannies of Glory Island, and looked back at the retreat’s cult origins… but how will you interact with these elements when playing the game?

After a ritual goes wrong at a remote spiritual retreat, a force called The Gloom spreads throughout the island to feed off negative energy. You must fight, avoid, and harness this supernatural threat as it drives everyone to madness.

The Chant has a compact, dense world that encourages players to navigate different locations to uncover resources and collectibles while bringing to life the past of the former inhabitants of this interconnected island.

Balance is key to survival:

Mind, Body, and Spirit are indispensable to your well-being. The actions you take influence the balance between them and determine how the story of The Chant concludes.

Collect, craft, and unlock the mysteries of the past while surviving the various threats both in and out of The Gloom.

Fight or flight is crucial to survival as you balance resources, spiritual weapons, and abilities against the creatures and cultists that emerge from The Gloom.

“Today’s gameplay video for The Chant explains how we’ve combined survival, action, and exploration mechanics to create a distinct cult cosmic horror experience,” said Mike Skupa, Creative Director. “As we walk you through some different areas of Glory Island, discover how the Mind, Body, and Spirit system impacts both the moment-to-moment action and how the story unfolds.”

Welcome to your spiritual nightmare:

The Chant is a cosmic horror action-adventure game developed by Brass Token and published by Prime Matter. Pre-orders are already live. Pre-order bonuses include a 1970s-themed in-game VFX filter mode and an exclusive 1970s-inspired spiritual retreat outfit. About Hunt: Showdown

Hunt: Showdown is a competitive first-person bounty hunting game that packs the thrill of survival games into a match-based format. Set in Louisiana in 1895, the game boasts a mixture of PvP and PvE elements that creates a uniquely tense experience. It’s not just the creatures who are a threat—it’s every Hunter on the map. In the classic game mode, a match of Hunt pits 12 players—playing solo or in teams of two or three —against each other as they race to take out gruesome beasts for a bounty they must collect and get off of the map. Hunt‘s quickplay mode offers a shorter match for solo players to scavenge for weapons as they compete for a diminishing pool of bounty. The higher the risk, the higher the reward–but a single mistake could cost everything. Hunt is available now on Steam, PlayStation and Xbox. For more information, visit www.huntshowdown.com.
