PGA TOUR 2K23 Gets New Content for Holiday Season

PGA TOUR 2K23 is geared up and ready to bring the holiday spirit this December with a golf bag packed full of goodies, including a new course, new playable character, limited-time challenges and apparel.*

Torrey Pines Golf Course is a 36-hole public course perched atop seaside cliffs in the scenic La Jolla area of San Diego, CA, and host of PGA TOUR’s Farmers Insurance Open. With their picturesque views of the Pacific Ocean on full display, both North and South courses will be free to all PGA TOUR 2K23 players via an automatic game update starting December 2.^**

Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag, Founder & CEO of premium lifestyle brand and gaming organization 100 Thieves will make his debut as a playable character in PGA TOUR 2K23 on December 15. An avid golfer and PGA TOUR 2K player, Nadeshot previously made his mark on the franchise with a Course Designer collaboration called ‘Thieves Landing,’, and appeared in the PGA TOUR 2K23 ad campaign. Following Nadeshot’s in-game appearance, a 100 Thieves “100 Holes Challenge” will tee-off in game in early January. Over the course of five weeks starting on January 5, players will be challenged to play 100 holes per week. Players who complete 100 holes will receive the corresponding reward for that week, the following Monday. Keep an eye out for the in-game notification announcing the start of the 100 Holes Challenge in January for more information.

From December 8-14, players can also participate in a new challenge with the “Barstool Break 90 Ladder Challenge”, featuring branded gear from the largest and most influential digital sports, entertainment and lifestyle multimedia brand, Barstool Sports. Players will be challenged to break a score of 90 as many times as they can in 18-hole rounds. The more times they break 90, the more Barstool-branded items they’ll earn. More information on the “Barstool Break 90 Ladder Challenge” will be announced via an in-game notification.

Finally, Greyson Clothiers apparel, as worn by PGA TOUR pro and PGA TOUR 2K21 cover athlete Justin Thomas, as well as a new Dude Perfect-branded black hoodie will also be available this month and free to all players to swag out their MyPLAYERS in the Pro Shop. Players will also be able to spend their VC on a selection of festive holiday gear available via the in-game store.

The 10-day countdown to the debut of the Original Movie “Night at the Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again” on Disney+ is on, and to celebrate, the trailer and poster for the all-new animated adventure are both available now. Based on the popular film franchise, “Night at the Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again,” debuts exclusively on Disney+ December 9, 2022.

Trackmania World Tour 2023 Details Revealed

Today, Ubisoft announced the details of its new Trackmania esports circuit, the Trackmania World Tour 2023, set to begin on December 17.

Major milestone in the development of the global Trackmania esports scene, the Trackmania World Tour 2023 will take the game’s competitive scene into a fresh direction with a brand-new format built around two versus two matches. With this new format, the Trackmania World Tour aims to build upon its existing professional ecosystem while providing exciting new team storylines and challenges as well as a clear path to pro everywhere, for everyone.

The competitive season will be structured as follows:

Stage 1: From January 21 to March 19, 2023
All-Stars Championship: April 15 & 16 and April 22 & 23
Stage 2: From April 29 to June 25
All-Stars Championship: August 27 and September 2 & 3
World Championship: Fall 2023

Each stage will include two layers of competition. The Trackmania Grand League will gather the best professional players in Trackmania, while the runners-up will face off in the Challenger League.

Overall, 8 teams will be competing in the Trackmania Grand League, each team being composed of two players and a dedicated streamer:

Team BDS
Berlin International Gaming
Gamers First
Into the Breach
Karmine Corp
Solary
Sinners

At the end of the season, a Wildcard system will allow amateur teams to join and compete in the World Championship alongside the top professional teams from the Trackmania World Tour. Indeed, during each stage, aspiring professional players will now have opportunities to hone their skills through regional tournaments and an in-game matchmaking 2v2 game mode. Those Trackmania World Tour related events and in-game matches will grant points, which will determine which amateur teams will take part in the Wildcard system.

For the first time in history, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Milla Jovovich will team up together on screen! This December, the Hollywood celebrities will be guiding players in Holiday Ops, across the World of Tanks’ franchise on PC, mobile and console. The festive season is sure to heat up in World of Tanks PC, World of Tanks Blitz and World of Tanks Modern Armor!

In the Holiday Ops cinematic trailer, Arnie and Milla are undertaking the most important mission yet – to save the holidays for Arthur and his son Mikey. Join them on a magical Holiday Express train that will take them to the heart of the Holiday Village, in World of Tanks.

“I have played the hero in video game-based movies, but this is the first time ever I, myself, have had been put into an actual game, and I am ready for action!”, Milla Jovovich, Holiday Ops ambassador/action star. “Another first for me is that I am costarring with the legendary Arnold Schwarzenegger. With him at my side, we will be guiding players to a magical Holiday Village and handing out special gifts to the players in World of Tanks.”

Tankers will first encounter the blockbuster duo in the garage, where they will assign challenges and quests. When players conquer these tasks, they will receive Arnie and Milla customization items like tank skins, themed emblems, inscriptions, decals, and commanders. Milla and Arnold’s voiceovers will be featured in World of Tanks PC and console.

In World of Tanks Blitz, a full calendar of Holiday Ops activities is available. Log into the game to automatically receive a gift: Arnold and Milla avatars and in-game bonuses.
