In addition to this hour-long demo, players can check out a new trailer highlighting the menacing monsters that await in the beautiful fantasy land of Ávalt.

Use skill and wit to defeat ferocious enemies, become stronger and wiser with each run, and save Ávalt from the monsters that threaten its existence.

Key Features

  • A Beautifully Deadly Open World: Freely explore a unique fantasy world inspired by Scandinavian folklore on foot or on the wings of the Raven. Choose where to go and which challenges to undertake, but beware: this land and its creatures are ever-changing, giving rise to new foes, locations, and trials when you may least expect it!
  • Intense Action-Roguelite Combat: Arm yourself with steel imbued with magic and face off against fantastic creatures like trolls, huldras, and the fearsome undead draugr in fast-paced, up-close combat where tactics are everything. Each Vessel has just one life to sacrifice, but the abilities you attain will benefit the next Vessel that rises in your place.
  • Play Your Cards Right: Ravenbound’s deck-building feature gives you access to more powerful gear and weapons with each new life. Expand your deck when you die, but pick carefully: these are the cards your next Vessel will draw. Improve your deck to give each Vessel the best chance to survive and bring the Raven closer to victory.

Blood Bowl 3 Game Overview Trailer Released

The game development studio Cyanide and French publisher NACON are pleased to announce the release of a brand-new trailer for Blood Bowl 3, available on PC, PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S on 23 February 2023.

Blood Bowl is a brutal fantasy football inspired competition populated by Elves, Humans, Orcs and other fantasy creatures. But do you know the specific features of Blood Bowl 3? What you need is a little update for the new game a few weeks before launch. It’s lining up to be a smash hit!

There will be 12 factions available for the launch of Blood Bowl 3. The most iconic factions are returning, such as the Dwarfs and Dark Elves. But they will be joined by brand-new factions, such as the Imperial Nobility, Old World Alliance, Chaos Renegades and the Black Orcs, not to mention new factions that will be added at a later date!

The dynamic pitches also hold their share of surprises: in certain situations, these pitches transform during the match and change the rules. Kraken, unbearable heat and insect swarms, these events are sure to create memorable moments!

Among the new features, Blood Bowl 3 includes a major redesign of the passing system to provide better team balance. Passing the ball is no longer linked to the Agility characteristic, but rather to a new characteristic: Passing Ability. You will also have the chance to learn new skills that will come in useful for devising your strategies.

The levelling up system has also been completely revamped to provide more flexibility and more balanced levelling within a team.

And many more features are there to explore! Player and team customisation, a season system, official ranking: all the new features will allow every coach to stand out and enjoy a unique Blood Bowl experience. You can therefore flaunt your own distinctive style in the Old World during the single-player Clash of Sponsors campaign and against other players.

Blood Bowl 3 will be available in several editions:

  • Standard (digital): 29,99€ PC / 39,99€ Consoles
  • Deluxe – Black Orcs / Deluxe – Imperial Nobility (digital): 39,99€ PC / 49,99€ Consoles
  • Brutal Edition (retail and digital): 49,99€ PC / 59,99€ Consoles
  • The Deluxe and Brutal editions give access to some exclusive customisation content. Check the details on your favorite digital store. Get exclusive content as a bonus

Featuring updated rules from the latest edition of the legendary board game, Blood Bowl 3 is a fantastic virtual experience based on the tabletop. The game will feature 12 factions at launch, including 4 playable for the first time in a Blood Bowl video game. Each faction has its own unique characteristics and related content. There are also single-player and multiplayer modes as well as more customization options than ever before. Every 3 months, a new season will start, adding unlockable rewards in the Blood Pass and a new playable faction.

Broken Arrow Demo Available Now through Feb 13

A first-time demo for the much-anticipated modern warfare real-time tactics game Broken Arrow will launch today as part of the Steam Next Fest. The single-player mission pits U.S. Marines against the Russian Armed Forces in an immersive full-length combat scenario featuring the latest units and weapons.

Joint Forces Warfare

Broken Arrow is a massive real-time modern warfare tactics game, emphasizing a unique army-building system, deep unit and weapon customization, and over 200+ realistic units. Pitting contemporary American and Russian armies against each other in a fictional conflict on NATO’s frontiers, the upcoming game is being developed by independent studio Steel Balalaika and renowned strategy publisher Slitherine.

Broken Arrow will offer not only complex joint forces warfare in single-player campaigns and scenarios but also feature action-packed multiplayer. Authenticity, immersion, and endless replayability sit at the core of Broken Arrow, promising military history aficionados and strategy fans a brand-new chapter in real-time strategy gaming.

First-ever demo

The Broken Arrow demo offered during the Steam Next Fest is an exciting sneak preview of what is to come with the full game. Aimed at experienced RTS players, the demo features an in-depth combat scenario set on the Baltic Coast, straight from the main single-player campaign.

In the Broken Arrow demo mission, players will be tasked to infiltrate a platoon of U.S. Marines Force Recon to destroy critical coastal defenses on the Baltic shore. Clearing the sky of enemy planes, and escorting their landing craft and hovercraft to the shore, waves of powerful M1A1 Abrams and armored vehicles can be unleashed to dominate the battlefield. The mission will see American troops fight block for block in intense close-quarter infantry battles against airdropped enemy paratroopers. Forces can be resupplied with heavy-lift helicopters from a carrier group offshore. Prospective commanders need to take care and repel the assault of a full tank company with the combined arms help of helicopters and planes.

As Broken Arrow is still in active development, certain features of the full game are absent in the demo, including a limited selection of forces, no playable Russian side, and unit or deck customization options. Likewise, visual and audio effects, unit balance, and overall optimization are not final. Players are asked to leave feedback or comments at the demo’s conclusion, which the development team will use to improve and update Broken Arrow.

The Broken Arrow demo is available for free from today, Monday 6th of February, at 18:00 GMT / 10 AM PST until Monday, 13th of February, at 18:00 GMT / 10 AM PST.

Wanted: Dead Enemies and Bosses Trailer

110 Industries maneuvers in with another installment to their Wanted: Dead Explained series, following the ‘Finishers Explained’ video. In this new trailer, learn all there is to know about Wanted: Dead’s enemies and bosses and how to overcome their attacks. Wanted: Dead is available to preorder now and is coming to PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S & PC on February 14th, Valentine’s Day 2023.

Developed by Japanese studio Soleil, Wanted: Dead serves a truly hardcore challenge with a wide range of enemy and boss types that must be strategically vanquished in order to progress.

In Wanted: Dead, you will encounter unknown teams of mercenaries, synthetic workers, an entire crime family and an elite private military, all prepared to skin you alive and hang you out to dry. Wanted: Dead is not an easy ride and will really test the player’s mettle as enemies will not go down without a fight so prioritising targets is one of the keys to success. From the previous Wanted: Dead explained videos, strategy in your fights is paramount as enemies attack in waves and you can quickly be overrun so using all of your skill sets and arsenal will allow you to conquer your foes in bloodthirsty style.

Stay on the move during your journey through Wanted: Dead or face certain death. If different types of enemy combatants weren’t enough, injured and limb-severed enemies are equally as dangerous to players as they will drag out the fight until their demise or yours. Keep a close eye on downed fighters as one wrong move or a sneaky grenade and it could all be over. Even low-ranking melee fighters can quickly deplete your health bar so making the right moves are important in order to quickly slash down enemies before they take too much of your vitals. When it comes to machine gunfighters, their strength is in numbers and if you rush in with no strategy you could see your life subscription being cancelled as a direct result.

In Wanted: Dead, elite enemies such as ninjas can easily make things go sideways with their varied attacks and fighting styles. Heavily armed exoskeleton fighters are equipped with heavy weapons and will occasionally barrage the player with grenades. Up close and personal, this enemy type proves to be the most dangerous on the battlefield and will require a certain level of mastery and daring to defeat. Is that a ‘Game Over’ screen you just saw? A few more of these and the ‘Neko mode’ is available just in case the player isn’t quite up to the challenge…

Since combat plays a huge part in Wanted: Dead, one of the essential ingredients to the game are bosses and they come in all shapes and sizes. These ferocious bosses include a mechanised walking tank with enough firepower to tear down a whole building. Synthetic worker turned revolutionary fighter that demonstrates some serious kung fu skills. A mercenary sniper with a cloaking device and a sharp blade that will tear you to pieces. A pair of insane homicidal twins out for blood and a slick sword fighter with incredible abilities and regeneration skills. Sharpen those blades, polish those bullets and get in the ring.

“We are very excited to reveal the varied and deadly enemy and boss types in Wanted: Dead that are sure to test your might,” said Sergei Kolobashkin, founder and Creative Director at 110 Industries. “Stay in the action and keep an eye out for more Wanted: Dead Explained videos coming soon!”
