After almost four successful years in Early Access, the sci-fi submarine sim Barotrauma is ready to take on its biggest mission yet: full launch. The game is available today on Steam from 5PM GMT/6PM CET.
To celebrate this momentous occasion and immerse players in the depths of Europa, publisher Daedalic Entertainment and developers FakeFish and Undertow Games have released a new video for Barotrauma.
Barotrauma is a sci-fi submarine simulator with both a single-player campaign as well as co-op modes with support for up to 16 players, who must navigate the depths of Jupiter’s frozen moon Europa and fulfill various missions. Together with their active and passionate community, developers FakeFish and Undertow Games have greatly expanded and improved the game since its Early Access launch in summer 2019. They completely overhauled the campaign and tutorials, added new monsters, missions and outposts, improved graphics and environments, implemented a scripted event system and much much more. All of this was only possible thanks to the feedback and support of more than 30,000 Discord members as well as 60,000 player-made entries on the Steam Workshop. To show the team’s devotion to their players and fanbase the developers even added a player-made submarine to the base game as part of a community competition.
Barotrauma’s thrilling and often hilarious chaos is both fun to play and watch, thanks to procedurally generated levels, ridiculous ragdoll physics and full mod support. But beware: some threats are closer than you think. Multiplayer’s traitor mode option may randomly assign players as secret conspirators, complete with their own individual missions like assassination and sabotage.

Stunlock Studios today have published their latest dev blog post for V Rising, revealing exciting information on the upcoming free expansion Secrets of Gloomrot. Introducing the vast and gruesome land of Gloomrot, where evil machinations have polluted the terrain, bringing forth untold horrors from the experiments that occurred there. Also included are juicy details on increased customization options when constructing castles and a confirmation of the much-coveted multiple tiered castles, allowing mansions to transform into masterfully-built fortresses. Red Barrels, the independent game development studio based in Montréal, has officially announced the Early Access release date for The Outlast Trials, which will come to Steam and Epic Games Store on May 18, 2023.
Players were first granted access to Murkoff’s Sinyala Facility last Halloween for the Closed Beta experience. Running from Friday 28 October to Tuesday 1 November, almost 1 million players signed up for the terrifying challenge, with successful players racking up a total of 35 years of play time spent in the Closed Beta weekend.
“The Closed Beta was just a taste of what’s to come in The Outlast Trials,” said Philippe Morin, Co-Founder of Red Barrels. “Our first round of willing participants to take part in the trials provided us with some insightful feedback and very interesting data, which we have used to improve the experience.
“We received so many requests for the Closed Beta that we’re looking forward to welcoming even more players to The Outlast Trials when it comes to Early Access on May 18th.”

Get ready for grand wizarding
In Master of Magic, players command one of 14 extraordinary and diverse grand wizards who, locked in spell-flinging competition, aim to dominate the magical worlds of Arcanus and Myrror. They lead fantastic armies of otherworldly creatures, from orcs to elves and dragons, and use potent spells based on a complex system of magic schools, dark rituals, research, and unique items. In the end, there can only be one Master of Magic.
Through the Myrror
The major update summons four new wizards, available to all players of Master of Magic for free. From the powerful Draconian Raa’ss, master of Chaos and Death, to Bianka, the Dwarven Runekeeper. A new faction, the tribal Goblins, can also be controlled. Their size might not impress, but these green-skinned druidic humanoids are supremely in touch with nature, fielding Boar Riders and Beastmasters to battle. Players will also be able to use new hero skills, from Summoning Fat Rats to becoming a Foodie, allowing them to relish the delectable, which in turn strengthens them in combat.
New Wizard traits provide even more personality and power to a player’s magic wielder, such as Fantastic Warlord, Lifebringer, or Nature Summoner. Last, new heroes and champions join the fray: the Goblin Toadsworth the Boartamer, Bjorn the Fireborn, and Jotun the Icetroll. Through the Myrror also brings a host of other updates for all to enjoy in Master of Magic, from new monsters (Boar and Fat Rats) to multi-hex road construction and remappable hotkeys.

The new Supercross Park is the perfect place to relax and chill alone or with friends. Supercross Park is a massive, free roam environment with five different areas containing huge jumps, original tracks, and much more to explore away from the pressures of competition. Riders will be able to enjoy going full throttle down the Peak and try launching themselves into exhilarating stunts at the Airport while darting through hangars and abandoned aircrafts. The most curious riders might try to dig into the secrets of the Quarry, while at the Stadium everyone will feel like the champion of the arena. Free roam aside, in the fifth area – inspired by the real-life FanFest – players can recover from injuries through the dedicated challenges of the Rider Shape System or take on special missions from Jeremy McGrath to improve their skills.
Adding on to the fun you can have with friends, a brand-new local split-screen mode will spice up the action. Rhythm Attack consists of quick 1v1 shootout races on a straight section. No turns, no second chances – riders will compete in a single-elimination tournament until the champion is crowned.

The two-time Academy Award® nominee and Marvel superhero joins forces again with Disney+ for the highly anticipated debut of his four-part Original series “Rennervations,” from Disney Branded Television. Renner and his team of expert builders use their skills to reimagine decommissioned vehicles and rebuild them into mind-blowing creations that serve communities around the world. Every build has a purpose. All episodes of “Rennervations” premiere on Wednesday, April 12 exclusively on Disney+.
“I’ve been on this journey for many years, and I started in my community by building vehicles for people in need. But a few years ago, I thought, how can I plus this up and create a bigger impact on a whole community – and that’s what this show does.” said Renner. “This is one of my biggest passions and it’s a driving force in my recovery, and I can’t wait for the world to see it.”
Behind the big screen, Renner is a construction veteran with a passion for purchasing and re-imagining huge vehicles with the help of his connections in the worldwide fabricator culture. Jeremy wants to provide The BASE Chicago kids with a new musical outlet to encourage them to dream big, express themselves and discover their inner voice. He and his elite team of fabricators and mechanics breathe new life into a tour bus by reimagining, repurposing, and renovating it into a mobile music studio for the kids to record their own music, play instruments and let their creativity sing. Then they deliver the mobile music studio with the help of actress and singer Vanessa Hudgens.
India: Building a Mobile Water Treatment Center (ft. Anil Kapoor)
Jeremy Renner and his best friend Rory make their first-ever trip ever to India, where they rebuild a delivery truck into a mobile water treatment facility for Uva Jagriti Sansthan, a nonprofit organization trying to deliver clean, drinkable water to communities across India. Jeremy wants to provide mobile water filtration to multiple communities and schools so they can drink groundwater that is currently non-potable. He and an elite team of local fabricators repurpose a delivery truck into a mobile water treatment facility that can travel to local communities and filter and clean existing groundwater rather than the communities trucking in clean water. Then, they deliver the mobile water treatment facility with the help of his “Mission: Impossible” co-star, Indian movie superstar Anil Kapoor.
Mexico: Building a Mobile Dance Studio (ft. Sebastián Yatra)
Jeremy Renner and his best friend Rory travel to Los Cabos, Mexico, where they rebuild a city bus into a mobile dance studio for Casa Hogar of Cabo San Lucas, a nonprofit organization offering full-time care and parenting to vulnerable kids unable to live with their families. After learning the kids at Casa Hogar lost their dance studio, Jeremy wants to create a new space for them to take dance classes and have recitals again. He and his elite team of fabricators repurpose a former city bus and rebuild it into a mobile dance studio to use as a classroom at the school and as a mobile event space around town. Then they deliver the mobile dance studio with help from two-time Latin GRAMMY Award®-recipient Sebastián Yatra.
Reno: Building a Mobile Recreation Center (ft. Anthony Mackie)
Jeremy Renner and his best friend Rory rebuild a shuttle bus into a mobile recreation center for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Nevada, a charity based in Reno that creates and supports one-to-one mentoring relationships between adult volunteers and local kids. Jeremy and his elite team of fabricators breathe new life into a shuttle bus by renovating it into a mobile recreation center that includes a basketball hoop, soccer goal and computer lab that can drive to underserved rural communities. Then, they deliver the new mobile recreation center with help from Jeremy’s “Avengers” and “Hurt Locker” co-star Anthony Mackie.
