SEGA of America has announced the return of the iconic SHINOBI franchise with SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance, an exciting new 2D action platformer set in a uniquely illustrated world created in collaboration with Lizardcube, the studio behind the acclaimed Streets of Rage 4. First revealed at The Game Awards 2023 alongside other legacy SEGA franchises, SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam and Nintendo Switch on August 29, 2025. It is now available for pre-order on select platforms.

Developed in collaboration with top creators from the Supercross gaming community, the trailer shows the Anaheim 1 and Glendale tracks in their 2025 layouts. For the first time in franchise history, real circuit blueprints from the current championship are being used to feature rosters, bikes and tracks. Besides Anaheim 1 and Glendale, the trailer also shows one of the original motocross tracks designed by Milestone, in which players will get to test a completely different riding experience. Moreover, with Unreal Engine 5, the game delivers a graphical overhaul with a cutting-edge physics system for precise control over riders and bikes, both in the air and on the ground, as well as the integration of neural AI for increased immersion. This package of novelties will result in a more realistic and simulative gameplay which all fans will get to master through dedicated tutorials.

During yesterday’s PlayStation State of Play, SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio announced a demo for the highly anticipated Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam, and it’s now available!

Players eager to get a taste of the action in the over-the-top, modern-day pirate adventure as ex-yakuza Goro Majima can access the dem and enjoy it for as long as they like. In the demo they’re able to explore a slice of the massive Honolulu map and kick arrrss with Majima’s Sea Dog & Mad Dog fighting styles, then head to the secret criminal haven of Madlantis to test their might in real-time ship & deck battles in the Pirates’ Coliseum naval arena. ALIEN: ROGUE INCURSION LAUNCHES ON META QUEST 3 AND 3S TODAY

Today, Survios, the industry-leading virtual reality studio, in collaboration with 20th Century Games, released the single-player, action-horror virtual reality game Alien: Rogue Incursion on Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 3S.

Set in the Alien universe, Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part One allows players to step into the boots of rogue Colonial Marine Zula Hendricks on a mission to the planet Purdan (LV-354) in search of a former squadmate. Equipping iconic weapons and gear like the Pulse Rifle and Motion Tracker, players will explore the depths of the Xenomorph-infested facility in search of answers, quickly discovering the danger that lurks around every corner. Zula’s story will continue in Part Two, currently in development.

Following its release on PlayStation VR2 and PCVR in December 2024, Alien: Rogue Incursion was nominated as a finalist for Immersive Reality Game of the Year and Immersive Reality Technical Achievement at the 28th Annual DICE Awards. The experience continues to improve on the Meta Quest 3, carrying over all of the latest quality of life and gameplay improvements while taking advantage of features unique to the new platform.

Extraction Shooter OUTLAWED Announces Technical Playtest

Okami Studio is excited to announce the start of the technical playtest for OUTLAWED, their upcoming PvPvE first-person extraction shooter. The playtest will kick off at 7pm ET on February 13th, 2025 (00:00 UTC on February 14th). This is a technical playtest, and the experience is not yet fully optimized; players should expect some bugs and incomplete features as the development team continues to refine the game. In addition to the playtest announcement, Okami Studio unveiled a new trailer and key art, providing a glimpse of what’s to come.

The technical playtest will be available exclusively through Steam Playtest, and access will be granted to players located in North America and China only. A total of 5,000 playtest slots are available in each region, offering a limited but exciting chance to experience the game before its official release!

OUTLAWED offers an exciting blend of PvPvE action set in a sprawling, crime-ridden urban environment. This online multiplayer game pits up players against each other in squads of three on a massive urban map teeming with rival gangs. Whether teaming up with friends or venturing solo, players will need strategy, teamwork, and quick thinking to overcome challenges and make their escape. In addition to the core gameplay, the playtest introduces new features like customizable player skins, challenging boss fights, and new vehicles with vehicle evacuation options, allowing for even more dynamic gameplay.

Sancticide Early Access Launch Trailer

Publisher Red Square Games and developer Sylen Studio are thrilled to announce that Sancticide is now available on Windows PC in Steam Early Access. The melee-focused action RPG will spend several months in Early Access before a planned 1.0 launch later this year.

Based on Komornik, the celebrated Polish book series by Michał Gołkowski, Sancticide puts you in control of Ezechiel, as you venture through the last remnants of humanity during the End Times.

EVE Frontier Launches Free 10-Day Trial: Runs February 14-24

SteamDolls – Order Of Chaos Official Launch Trailer

SteamDolls, the debut stealth-meets-action platformer delight by French-Belgian studio The Shady Gentleman, launches today, February 11th at 1pm EST / 10am PST / 6pm UTC into Steam Early Access, alongside a brand new launch trailer. The game will be $19.99 or regional Steam requivalent, and run a 15% discount for 2 weeks.

Play as the bloodthirsty, witty, and just a bit kooky Whisper (played by David Hayter) and balance both stealth and brutality as you make your way through a comic book-inspired steampunk city on the verge of anarchy. A free demo also remains available, featuring the intro sequence the game. The game will be available in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish at launch, and contain about 6 chapters of the game, totaling an estimated 5-7 hours of content. The game’s developers are hoping to gather player feedback to improve mechanics, balancing, and content leading up to the 1.0 launch.

The title, originally teased to the public back in 2019, boasts a reunion of AAA voice actors from the Metal Gear Solid franchise (no relation to studio), including David Hayter, Christopher Randolph, and Jennifer Hale.
