The battlefield evolves once again in Call to Arms: Panzer Elite. Today’s major content update introduces the all-new Field HQ system, a brand-new campaign mission titled St. Barthélemy, AI and visibility improvements, and the first foundational steps toward a comprehensive overhaul of the game’s damage and ballistics systems. The update will be live later today!
Call to Arms: Panzer Elite – Patch 0.7.01 Content Update – New Missions, Tanks & More
Introducing the Field HQ
Designed in direct response to community feedback, especially from co-op players, the new Field HQ system keeps commanders in the fight longer by allowing squads to redeploy lost vehicles and call in reinforcements during missions. Players can now earn reinforcement points throughout gameplay and strategically spend them to maintain battlefield momentum. Earn Points Through:
Tactical kills and special destruction bonuses such as Ammo Rack or Fuel Tank detonations
Kill streaks, long-range eliminations, and assists
Destroying higher-tier enemy vehicles while operating lower-tier armor
Capturing POWs and completing mission objectives
Mission Medals & Recognition
To further reward battlefield performance, the update introduces a new Mission Medal system. Mission scores now directly translate into medal ranks, with higher performance unlocking greater recognition. Earned medals persist in the player’s hangar and are showcased on the redesigned mission-end screens.
New Campaign Mission: St. Barthélemy
Set during Operation Lüttich, players are tasked with striking the strategically important train station near L’abbaye Blanche under the cover of night. With Allied air support grounded due to poor visibility, the mission delivers intense close-quarters combat where every shadow may conceal enemy armor.
AI & Foliage Visibility Improvements
Dense foliage and bushes now properly block AI line of sight, preventing enemies from unrealistically spotting or firing through heavy concealment. Additionally, AI target selection and movement behavior have been refined to create more natural and challenging engagements.
Beginning the Damage Model Overhaul
The team has also started work on a large-scale overhaul of the game’s vehicle damage and ballistics systems. While still in its early stages, this update introduces several important foundational improvements:
Improved HE filler and spalling reliability for more authentic post-penetration damage
Reworked internal component damage behavior
New engine kill animations and dedicated visual effects
Gun mantlet impacts now affect aim and gun elevation speed instead of completely disabling firing
Updated internal component durability and corrected armor setups for multiple vehicles
Environmental Improvements
The update also adds improved water interaction effects across rivers and lakes, including dedicated projectile hit effects and enhanced vehicle splash VFX to further improve battlefield immersion.
As Early Access progresses, Call to Arms: Panzer Elite will keep expanding with new missions, vehicles, and skirmish maps for the current factions – and perhaps a few unexpected reinforcements along the way.
Call to Arms: Panzer Elite is available now for PC in Early Access exclusively on Steam, priced at $29.99 / €29.99.

Spatial Weaponry: The Shantak, Urhag, and Voonith cannons fire vertical energy blades that increase in power the further they travel, capable of slicing through space itself.
R’lyeh Mothership: Spawns a “Funnel of Doom” zone that drains maximum durability, effectively countering repairs and healing.
Ultimate Rhino: The fan-favorite returns with unbreakable shields to challenge the new meta.

With the release of the dark fantasy action-adventure Blades of Fire on Steam just days away, developer MercurySteam and publisher 505 Games have revealed details on two more new features to come with Version 2.0. The final video of their weekly feature reveal series showcases a punishing new difficulty mode, Titanium Difficulty, alongside the introduction of New Game Plus, allowing players to replay Aran de Lira’s adventure and uncover a new level of mastering the forge.
Watch the final episode of the Blades of Fire Feature Video Series: Titanium Difficulty & New Game+:
The highly challenging difficulty level, Titanium Difficulty – recommended only for the most experienced players looking to prove themselves – doesn’t pull any punches! It requires smart combat tactics, excellent weapon management, and a perceptive eye to strategize against enemy behaviour for them to come out unscathed. Players will battle their way through enemies with enhanced health, armour, and a 20% damage increase. Bosses have been rebalanced, with stricter timing-based mechanics – rewards come to those with precise combat, while failure awaits the reckless. And if that wasn’t enough, the Queen has placed a curse on certain Anvils throughout the realm, rendering them unusable for rest or fast travel, hindering Aran’s progress.
Unlocked after completing Blades of Fire a first time, New Game Plus invites players to relive Aran’s adventure while maintaining most of their progression. Skills and upgrades, health and stamina gems, weapons and blueprints, materials, forge memory, codex content, Arcana spells and unlocked skins, will carry over but at a cost, as enemy damage will scale to a player’s maximum health. For the completionists, New Game Plus introduces two new skins and 27 exclusive forge statues that will unlock brand new weapon parts. Visible on the map from the start, offer up the correct weapon type to each statue to make new weapon parts available in the forge.
For players looking to put their skills to the test and reap the rewards that come from overcoming a brutal challenge, Titanium Difficulty and New Game Plus are exactly what they’re looking for.

“Best Small Studio” indie game developer Spilt Milk Studios has been cooking up an exciting DLC for their acclaimed wholesome shopkeeping game Trash Goblin, and it’s available now for $9.99/£7.45/8.49€! Titled The Artist of Brimhaven, this premium DLC will add at least 5 hours of brand new story content revolving around you, a new district, and fresh starts.
Returning characters, Aimon’s cunning plans and ambitious dreams, plus a whole new way to reach out and touch the world of Trash Goblin await! Players will take their trinket restoration shop to the all-new district of Brimhaven, a quiet and abandoned place nestled in a large ravine on the edge of the chasm up in the northwest of Silver City. Once a bustling borough, a terrible accident saw a huge bridge collapse, causing terrible damage to the neighbourhood. Incredibly few people were hurt, but the parish’s bones were wrecked and people were forced to move on.
But! Through a combination of your skills as a Trinketeer and Aimon’s opportunism you’ll be helping the community revitalise & rebuild the run-down buildings of this once-bustling locale, filling its empty streets with cheer and making a lasting positive change to the inhabitants of Silver City! The Artist of Brimhaven is designed for people who’ve completed the story in the base game, and can’t wait to see what everyone gets up to next!
That’s not all, as this expansion coincides with a huge free update coming to the game on PC the same day! It introduces an entirely new tool nicknamed Hugh, which gives players the ability to swap materials and colours across all 400 trinkets in the game!
If you’ve not played Trash Goblin yet, this is a fantastic time to start, as the game is free for one week on Epic Games Store! Enjoy the base campaign at no cost and get up to speed on the story before embarking on the Brimhaven expansion!
“Trash Goblin was the little project that could for us at Spilt Milk. We really struggled to get it off the ground and relied on Kickstarter backing in its early days, but then we managed to bring it to Early Access, launch the 1.0 release, and now it’s sold over 100k units,” said Andrew Smith, Creative Director at Spilt Milk Studios. “That’s why we were able to continue work on it and create premium DLC and a free major update, offer some quality merch, and even give the game away for free this week on Epic Games Store. We love our fans, they’ve supported us all the way, and we want to ensure we’re giving back to keep the Goblin love brewing!”
