“We are very happy to work with EmpireCraft Studios on Wild West Pioneers”, comments Matthias Wünsche, CEO Toplitz Productions. “They have embraced our core philosophy of creating ‘Games with Heart and Soul,’ bringing a thoughtful and well-crafted approach to the city builder genre. Their vision strikes a careful balance between modern design and the classic appeal of strategic settlement building. We look forward to seeing players shape their own communities and experience life on the American frontier.”

Wild West Pioneers will be released later in 2025 on PC in Early Access. Further information on the game can be found on the Steam product page, where it can be wishlisted already.

Features:

It Is Your Choice

You decide what the West will look like. Choose from a wide variety of buildings both commercial as well as residential and upgrade them over time to accommodate the ever-changing needs of the settlers. Pick mayors and sheriffs, but be careful who you appoint – their perks will affect the cities’ growth.

The West Is More Than One City

One settlement is only the beginning. While you discover new resource streams and production chains the urge to expand will become unstoppable. Send your settlers into uncharted territory and build new villages. Then set up trade routes, so resources can be exchanged. Don’t leave anybody behind or it will cost you dearly.

Every Settler Is A Person

Your villages are filled with characters. Everybody has needs and demands that you have to fulfill, if you want your reputation to precede you. Only with a sufficient happiness level influenced by job availability, health standards etc. will you be able to attract new settlers and become one of the driving forces in the expansion of the United States.

The Circle Of Life

Day and night cycle have an impact on the game world. Watch the city life change from dusk till dawn and show true leadership skills when you take on the challenges of efficient production chains and trade routes.

Strategize Your Expansion Of The West

The strategic map will help you to plan your progress. Send expeditions, establish trading outposts and dispatch wagons with daring explorers eager to found new settlements. With the sandbox character of Wild West Pioneers, no game will ever be the same.

Take a seat

Sit back, chill and watch your plans come to fruition. Observe the hustle and bustle of city life, where every job is executed by a person and not a backend value. Watching your settlement grow in its detailed glory is half the fun.

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown – Season 3 Launch Trailer

KT Racing and NACON are pleased to announce the launch of the third season of Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown. This free update, available to all players, introduces new mission types, new cars, new unlockable content, and significant Quality of Life improvements, such as Solo mode in races and AI difficulty selection.

In response to community feedback, the developers have adjusted the original plans for Season 3 of Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown. Initially designed to introduce Clan Wars, this new season instead enhances the player’s experience with various content additions, including two new mission types: Navigation and Convoy.

In Navigation missions, players must reach a target within a limited time, without a map and guided only by a compass, putting their sense of direction to the test. Meanwhile, Convoy missions—well known to fans of the first two Test Drive Unlimited games—challenge players to carefully transport a designated vehicle to the finish line. These missions operate on a contract-based system and incorporate different parameters based on the chosen difficulty, such as traffic conditions, weather, travel distance, and vehicle type.

Additional customization content is also included, such as the introduction of Sharps and Streets Clan HQ shops, where players can purchase various customization items for their cars and avatars, as well as the return of personalized license plates, allowing players to select a design and custom text from a wide selection.

Season 3 also brings significant gameplay improvements, introducing Solo mode, which allows players to immediately start a race against AI opponents, pause the race anytime and restart it instantly. This mode also lets players choose from five AI difficulty levels and earn rewards accordingly. The developers continue to work on optimizing the game for both consoles and PC, as well as developing new community-requested features for future seasons.

Nightdive Announces I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream for Consoles

Hate. Let me tell you how much I’ve come to hate you since I began to live.

The world has ended, and humanity’s last five survivors are held prisoner miles underground, nestled squarely in the heart of darkness.

Allied Mastercomputer. Adaptive Manipulator. Aggressive Menace. Cogito ergo sum — I think, therefore I AM.

Today at The MIX Spring Showcase, Nightdive Studios announced that the critically acclaimed 1996 point-and-click horror adventure I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream will be released on March 27, 2025, on PlayStation 4|5, Xbox One and Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

Watch the I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream console announcement trailer here:

“It’s been nearly 12 years since Nightdive Studios re-released the iconic I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream on PC, and we’re so excited to once again give it renewed life by releasing it for the first time on consoles,” said Nightdive studio head, Stephen Kick. “Over the last couple of years, we’ve seen a lot of love for the original game and Harlan Ellison’s short story across social media platforms like TikTok and Reddit. It only felt right that we helped make this title more accessible and further preserve its legacy.”

Based on the post-apocalyptic short story by renowned author Harlan Ellison, I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream plunges players deep within the center of the earth, where they play as each of the five survivors who have been trapped in the bowels of the insane AI AM for the past hundred and nine years. Fueled by his intense hatred for the human race, AM has spent the past century torturing and toying with each character as he sees fit, culminating in a final game: an appropriately meta adventure-style quest for each of them, teasing the prospect of freedom if they succeed.

Each victim is subjected to a personalized psychodrama designed by AM to explore their greatest fears and feelings of guilt. Players go through each character’s personalized scenario, discovering the truth about each of their pasts and why AM chose to keep them alive and prolong their suffering. Whether they have the strength to overcome his games and face their demons…well, that’s for the player to decide.

I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream is a fully voice-acted experience, upping the immersion and giving the horrors taking place even more impact. Additionally, AM, the megalomaniacal all-powerful techno god, is voiced by the legend himself: Harlan Ellison.

Atari Unveils Missile Command Delta

Atari, Mighty Yell and 13AM Games today revealed Missile Command Delta, launching later this year for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. Missile Command Delta reimagines Atari’s 1980s missile defense arcade classic as a turn-based tactical game set against a mysterious narrative that leaves you questioning whether you’re trapped in a simulation or truly defending cities from attack.

As players explore an abandoned half-century old facility they will encounter locked doors, dishevelled work rooms, massive super computers and newly awakened missile command terminals. Players must defend against waves of missiles from an unknown enemy using a battery of missiles, each with its own unique type, range, and explosion size. Only by managing their arsenal carefully will they have enough firepower to clear the skies.

“While Missile Command Delta approaches gameplay in a completely new way, it retains all the tension and suspense of the arcade original,” said Ethan Stearns, VP of Games at Atari. “You have to think strategically about every move you make because even one poor choice can have grave consequences.”

As enemy attacks increase and pressure mounts, relationships will be put to the test, blurring the lines between what is real and who they can trust. If they succeed, they may even learn the truth behind this Cold War defense program.

“Missile Command Delta has a little something for every kind of player — whether you love strategy tactics games, are a mystery fan, a secret hunting completionist, or you just love to explore and solve puzzles. We can’t wait for players to get their hands on the game later this year.”

Missile Command Delta will launch on Steam, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch later this year.

Hear more about Missile Command Delta directly from the Mighty Yell and Atari team today during The MIX + Kinda Funny Spring Game Showcase at 3:00 p.m. PT. View the livestream on YouTube at Kinda Funny Games or Media Indie Exchange, or on Twitch at Kinda Funny Games.
