Paradox Interactive today announced that Archon Prophecy, the new expansion for their award-winning fantasy strategy game Age of Wonders 4, will launch August 12 on PC, PlayStation®5, and Xbox Series X|S for a suggested retail price of $24.99/£20.99/€24.99. Archon Prophecy includes the new Architects culture, allowing players to construct vast, magical monuments within their cities, new forms, new narrative content, two new story realms, and much more. Players who own Expansion Pass 2 for Age of Wonders 4 will receive Archon Prophecy as part of their purchase at no extra cost when the expansion launches.

Launching alongside Archon Prophecy on August 12, all Age of Wonders 4 players will also receive the free Griffon Update, introducing new features such as Extra Faction data, New Form traits – Flaws, and Hero Class Updates.

Features of Archon Prophecy include:

Shout! TV presents a special 24-hour presentation of Monty Python and the Holy Grail streaming exclusively on Shout! TV and Shout! Movies June 21, to commemorate the film’s 50th anniversary. Throughout the 24-hour marathon, fans can enjoy appearances from Python legends John Cleese, Terry Gilliam and Michael Palin as they reflect on their favorite memories from making the film. Warner Bros. Games today released a new trailer spotlighting the 12 primary game modes in DC Worlds Collide, the upcoming free-to-play squad-based role-playing game set in the DC universe. Ranging from boss battles with increasing difficulty to 5v5 player vs. player arenas, fans will experience a large suite of solo and competitive game modes as they unite a team of the mightiest DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains to take on the Crime Syndicate from another Universe.

Featuring 12 different game modes to master, DC Worlds Collide will provide unique challenges that gradually increase in complexity, allowing players of all experience levels to enjoy as they aim to stop a twisted Justice League from destroying the world. These modes include:

Main Stages: Play through the main story and experience a thrilling narrative inspired by the DC comic storylines in “Trinity War” and “Forever Evil.” Recruit more than 70 Super Heroes and Super-Villains from the DC universe including Raven, Constantine, Two Face, Nightwing, Mr. Freeze, Blue Beetle, Sinestro and more – all with their own unique abilities. Explore endless possibilities and lead the ultimate DC team by assembling a squad, upgrading characters and crafting team synergies to tackle increasingly difficult obstacles.
Evil Falls: Challenge individual members of the Crime Syndicate in boss battles and face iconic characters like Ultraman, Superwoman, Deathstorm and more. Every character will have a weakness to exploit, but beware they will return even stronger after each defeat.

Nightmare Mode – 13 Layers of Terror

Nightmare Mode challenges you to survive 13 sequential Nightmares, each composed of 13 cursed nights. Every Nightmare throws new curveballs your way: curated groups of humans with unique traits, and escalating modifiers that carry over from one Nightmare to the next. It’s a brutal, escalating gauntlet of strategic horror.

And then… there’s the Grim Reaper.

In Nightmare Mode, every kill or madness you induce earns you souls. Collect 13 souls, and you can summon the Reaper to harvest a human of your choice instantly. Survive all 13 Nightmares and you’ll unlock the Crypt Room, letting the Reaper haunt with you in future/other game modes.

Nightmare unlockables include Corpse Explosion (card), the Crypt Room, Sleep Paralysis (card), and a new achievement.

New Trap Starter Deck

Once you reach XP-level 12, you’ll unlock a new starter deck built entirely around traps. These cards specialize in ambushes, synergy, and indirect terror, giving you new strategies to exploit adventurers who get a little too confident.

Combined with existing mechanics, traps offer new ways to sow fear and chaos, one carefully laid mechanism at a time.

This update also comes with several tweaks and polish including heart death animation, dead human portraits removed, and a counter of turns on humans with the “Helpline” trait.

And yes, “Jason” is now officially in the name pool for humans. Happy Friday the 13th!

Halloween Horror Nights gives rise to horror movie icon Jason from the infamous Friday the 13^th films in the all-original haunted house, “Jason Universe,” which takes guests back to the summer camp where the gruesome legend was born. Universal Studios Hollywood announces its “Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift,” first-ever, high-speed outdoor roller coaster launching in 2026 will debut as the fastest roller coaster in the Universal Destinations & Experiences portfolio at a staggering 72 MPH. The theme park also reveals a first look rendering and animatic video showcasing the breadth of this exciting new thrill ride.

Construction continues on this ambitious roller coaster and its state-of-the-art ride system, which is being uniquely designed to immerse guests within Universal Pictures’ exhilarating Fast & Furious universe.

This innovative roller coaster will take guests on an adventure, unlike anything ever encountered before. Featuring groundbreaking 360-degree rotation of the individual ride vehicles, the coaster will rocket guests up to 72 MPH along 4,100 feet of elaborate track, meticulously constructed with sound reduction technology for a breathtaking experience.

The fully rotational ride vehicles will create a seamless sensation of drifting cars as guests spin in motion at furiously fast speeds while being catapulted along an aerial track that winds its way over sections of the theme park, including the multi-level escalator that connects the Upper and Lower Lots.

“Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift” will be located on the Upper Lot of Universal Studios Hollywood. Keepsake Games, the Stockholm-based studio formed by developers from Hazelight, Mojang and Coffee Stain, is excited to announce that the playable demo for Jump Ship is now live as part of Steam Next Fest. Running from June 9th–16th, players from around the world are invited to take to the stars and experience all of the chaotic, spacefaring action that Jump Ship has to offer.

Jump Ship is a mission-based cooperative FPS, in which up to four players join forces to take on exciting, space-based, survival scenarios. Whether you are piloting the ship, engaging enemy vessels and strongholds in tense on foot combat, or exploring the galaxy by jetpack, each team member will play a crucial part in ensuring survival to make the next jump.

The game is set in a beautiful, handcrafted galaxy packed full of volatile planets and alien threats waiting to be discovered. Players will experience a world teeming with stunning visuals and cosmic dangers; with solar flares, meteor storms and hostile ships requiring players to constantly adapt in order to stay alive.

“Rising Star” indie game developer Spilt Milk Studios has shown off a new Trash Goblin trailer highlighting the colorful characters you’ll meet across this relaxing restoration adventure about managing a trinket shop. Having just launched on Steam on May 28th, Trash Goblin has accrued nearly 500 Steam user reviews with a “Very Positive” overall rating.

In Trash Goblin, you play as an orphaned goblin with dreams of opening your own trinket shop where you restore old relics and sell them to the lovely townsfolk you’ll meet in your travels. Starting a new enterprise isn’t easy, however, but you’re not alone, as you’ve got your mentor and antique dealer Aimon to help guide you through this process, along with your protective Auntie Vale. Set to launch on October 31st, 2025, this exciting new title brings the PAW Patrol crew to life with monster truck racing for the first time ever.

In PAW Patrol Rescue Wheels: Championship, players can choose from a range of playable characters as they drift, jump, and perform mid-air stunts across 12 tracks and 3 arena locations from the hit show, including Adventure Bay, the Mountain, and Foggy Bottom.
