Demon Spore Release Date Trailer

Null Games today released a brand new trailer announcing a July 2025 release window for developer DinoBoss’ Demon Spore, an action roguelite inspired by the slithery monsters of classic 80s horror during Twitch.tv’s “Galaxies,” a new global video game showcase. The new animated trailer provided backstory to the Demon Spore’s origin and also revealed the availability of online co-op at launch so players can fight – and die – against an ever-growing mass of flesh and tentacles.

Ahead of its launch this July, Demon Spore fans will also have the opportunity to potentially participate in closed playtests for hands-on online co-op mayhem. More details and dates will be announced soon, but those interested are encouraged to fill out the Null Playtester form to be kept in the loop on potential future playtests. A demo highlighting the early portions of Demon Spore is also available now on Steam.

Demon Spore puts players in the shoes of a terrified scientist caught in the middle of an ethically questionable experiment gone deadly wrong. As the grotesque creatures spread throughout the facility, options for survival begin to fade, bringing the desperate need for careful planning and improvisation to escape alive. Players must destroy hordes of enemies with beakers of acid, scalpel launchers, and good old fashioned shotguns while frantically charging to the next area for a brief moment of respite. Use security tokens to manipulate the Demon Spore and collect powerful abilities to assist on the harrowing journey to the rooftop.

White Knuckle Early Access Launch Trailer

The race to the top is on—speed-climbing horror roguelite White Knuckle is now available in Steam Early Access. Praised for its fast-paced tension, stimulating challenge, and the heart-pounding fear that something horrible is lurking just behind you, DreadXP’s latest release is a vertical nightmare of precision movement and tight inventory management. Developed by New Mexico-based three-person team Dark Machine Games, White Knuckle is indie horror at its most intense, and it’s just getting started.

Trapped in the crumbling depths of SUB-STRUCTURE 17, you play as a lone climber fighting to ascend a nightmarish underground compound. Navigate collapsing walls, leap over deadly gaps, and dodge brutal traps, all while evading the monstrous presence lurking and creeping from down below. Precision, speed, and smart resource management are essential—tools can aid your climb, but overpacking will slow you down, and accessing your gear mid-ascent means having to let go of a hand. One wrong move, just one fumbled grab, and it’s a long way down.

As you rise through this decaying vertical labyrinth, you’ll face increasingly treacherous environments and enemies, from the desolate Silos and toxic Pipeworks to the haunted piers of Habitation. Each region brings new threats and greater risks, but also the chance to unlock augmentations during your runs to enhance your abilities and better your odds of surviving the long climb to freedom. In pure roguelite fashion, failing isn’t a threat, it’s a promise. ”We want every run to feel different, and for players to learn more about familiar spaces as much as they are seeing new ones. You WILL fall and die in White Knuckle, and it’s fun because the best part of starting over is wondering what routes or places you’ll discover in the next attempt.” says Holly Jencka, Lead Developer at Dark Machine Games.

NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound Kumori Trailer

Publisher Dotemu (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, Streets of Rage 4) and developer The Game Kitchen (Blasphemous series) today unsheathed a demon-slaying gameplay trailer debuting Kumori, the second protagonist of NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound. The all-new 2D sidescrolling action platformer channels the classic and modern NINJA GAIDEN trilogies from KOEI TECMO GAMES in a brand new adventure launching Summer 2025 on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.

Today’s new footage introduces Kumori, a member of the antagonistic Black Spider Clan central to the NINJA GAIDEN series. Kumori’s fighting style forgoes traditional rules to emerge victorious from battle by any means necessary. She leverages modern weaponry and demonic sources of power to reach her goals and brave challenges unique to her story. Watch Kumori’s devastating abilities in today’s new gameplay.

NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound begins immediately after the opening moments of the original NES NINJA GAIDEN. The veil between the human and demon realms has broken, leaving the world linked with a gate to darkness. After Ryu Hayabusa leaves the Hayabusa Village to avenge his father, Kenji Mozu, a fledgling Hayabusa Clan Ninja and one of the two protagonists of NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound, rises to confront the forces of evil.

In this dark era, the destinies of Kenji and Kumori intersect as they overcome the generational grudges of their clans. In the face of peril, their only way to survive is to use the forbidden power that merges Kumori’s spirit with Kenji’s. NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound’s demon-slaying tale unfolds through the journey of two young Ninjas bound together by their shared fate of soul and skill. Their journey, filled with thrilling levels teeming with monsters, will require them to skillfully wield their fusion, “Ninja Fusion,” to maximize the talents of both Ninjas.

Kenji and Kumori’s high-stakes quests develop with show-stopping fights against powerful, boss-caliber behemoths. With upgradable abilities, hidden collectibles, unlockable secret missions, optional challenges and more, NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound is an engrossing modernization of the tense, satisfyingly swift battles and precise, skill-demanding platforming the series is known for.

NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound features exquisite pixel art, evoking the classic 2D games while bringing lush environments and a menacing cast of enemies to life in striking, wonderfully intricate detail. The dynamic action pairs with a pitch-perfect soundtrack featuring contributions from special guest composers, coalescing into an unforgettable adventure.

Cronos: The New Dawn Gameplay Trailer Released

Bloober Team, the studio behind the iconic SILENT HILL 2 remake, has unleashed the first full gameplay trailer for Cronos: The New Dawn, the studio’s all-new original survival horror IP. This eerie first look at full gameplay showcases THE MERGE, an innovative new mechanic that changes the way players confront enemies, turning every encounter into a mind-bending nightmare and struggle for survival. The game will be releasing later this year for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation®5, and PC via Steam.

Set across two time periods – the grim ruins of a post-apocalyptic future as well as in 1980s-era Poland – Cronos: The New Dawn thrusts players into the decaying district of New Dawn, inspired by real-life Nowa Huta. You play as a Traveller, an agent of the mysterious Collective, emerging from a dystopian future to dive back into time and extract key people before they perish in the apocalypse. As you explore a world on the brink of annihilation, you’ll encounter grotesque enemies known as the Orphans — twisted, body-horror monstrosities born from humanity’s darkest nightmares.

Kill Them. Burn Them. Don’t Let Them Merge.

In this latest reveal, the tagline “Don’t Let Them Merge” points to one of the game’s core mechanics: downed enemies don’t stay dead for long! If you don’t burn their bodies, these fallen monsters can be absorbed by existing enemies. Through a grotesque process known as Merging, enemies evolve into faster, stronger, more resilient, and far more horrifying abominations, gaining additional abilities in battle.

Jacek Zięba, Co-Director and Producer at Bloober Team, warns: “Imagine this: a distorted mix of sci-fi, time travel, retro-futuristic dread, and body horror—all set against the gritty backdrop of 80s Poland. What a ride, right? And whatever you do… don’t let them merge.”

Wojciech Piejko, Co-Director and Designer at Bloober Team, adds: “How do you fight them? Fire! Burn the fallen before they merge with living creatures. The merge changes the game, adding a whole new layer of strategy to combat. Push your survival instincts to the max.”

A World Warped by Time and Terror

Alongside the newly revealed combat system, Cronos: The New Dawn shows many upcoming and exciting features. Players will get a sneak peek of the game’s ferocious weapons and terrifying new enemies, all set against the backdrop of Brutalist architecture falling apart, twisted by the anomalies that warp reality itself. There are also glimpses of enigmatic new characters, all with their own agendas and hidden secrets. Cronos: The New Dawn promises a story packed with cryptic secrets and a creeping sense of dread that doesn’t let up.

Adding to the tension is the game’s soundtrack, created by award-winning composer Arkadiusz Reikowski. The result of a collaboration between Arkadiusz and the Polish-Ukranian indie folk band Zazula, this track in particular features haunting traditional vocals, creating an ethereal soundscape that blends synth horror with surreal, avant-garde textures. The result is a score as eerie and immersive as the world you’ll explore.

Cronos: The New Dawn is set for release in 2025 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation®5, and PC via Steam. Wishlist now on SteamMicrosoft Store, and PlayStation to receive updates on this one-of-a-kind survival horror experience. Stay tuned for more horrors to follow soon.

The game will be releasing later this year for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam with an anticipated ESRB rating of ‘M’ for Mature.
