Wild Hearts S – Launch Trailer

Today, KOEI TECMO America and developer Omega Force invite all aspiring hunters to experience the frenetic fantasy action of WILD HEARTS S, which is now available on the Nintendo Switch™ 2. A free public demo is also available for solo play or multiplayer that allows you to hunt in a pack of up to four players with saved data able to be carried over to the full game upon purchase.

In WILD HEARTS S, players must master an ancient technology called “Karakuri” (automaton) to hunt giant beasts across a fantasy world inspired by feudal Japan. Aspiring hunters will be able to craft and combine a wide variety of “Karakuri” to create a wide range of items including beast-piercing blades, shields, and traps. To help them in their hunt, fans will also be able to craft equipment and weapons, from common weapons, such as “Nodachi” and “Bow”, to the more unique “Karakuri Katana” and “Bladed Wagasa”, each with its own characteristics. Whether wielding blazing lava, raging blizzards or miasma, the giant, nature-infused beasts roaming the land of Azuma will pose serious challenges for players who will need to use the materials gathered from their hunts to craft new, more powerful weapons if they are to stand any chance of survival.

A free demo of WILD HEARTS S is also now available on Nintendo Switch™ 2, allowing users to discover the first stages of the game, from the prologue up to “Minato”, Whether they decide to explore the lands of Azuma on their own or in a pack of four players, aspiring hunters will face off against fearsome nature-infused beasts such as the “Ragetail”, the “Sapscourge”, or the formidable “Kingtusk”, a giant boar with massive trunk-like teeth. Upon completing the public demo, players will be able to carry over their save data to the full game to continue the hunt. If hunting with friends, players can make use of the Nintendo Switch™ 2 exclusive “GameChat” feature to communicate as they play online*.

* A Nintendo Switch Online membership (sold separately) is required for online play.

Cronos: The New Dawn 10-Minute Gameplay Showcase

Bloober Team has released the first extended gameplay video for its highly anticipated sci-fi horror title, Cronos: The New Dawn. This eerie 10-minute showcase offers a gripping deep dive into the game’s intense combat, terrifying enemies, and survival mechanics while introducing two of the game’s hauntingly distinct environments: Islands in The Mist and The Hospital.

In Islands in The Mist, players navigate a mysterious liminal space where visibility is limited, tension is high, and danger lurks in every fog-drenched corner. Meanwhile, The Hospital delivers a claustrophobic descent into madness, where sterile corridors twist into nightmarish labyrinths, echoing with the remnants of a forgotten past.

Don’t Let Them Merge

In this latest reveal, players can get a closer look at the much-anticipated “Merge” mechanic in action. In Cronos: The New Dawn, fallen enemies, known as The Orphans, don’t stay dead for long! If players fail to burn their bodies, these fallen monsters can be absorbed by nearby Orphans. Through a grotesque process known as Merging, enemies transform into faster, stronger, and more horrifying abominations, gaining new abilities and becoming even more formidable in combat, creating terrifying new nightmares for The Traveler to overcome.

A Traveler Through Time

Players follow The Traveler in action, an agent of the mysterious Collective who emerges from a dystopian future to journey back through time. Their mission: to extract individuals before they perish in the apocalypse.

Guided by the cryptic travel log of a mysterious predecessor, Traveler ND 3500, players will explore unsettling post-apocalyptic environments inspired by real-world locations, including the Kraków district of Nowa Huta. Here, decaying Brutalist architecture is warped by reality-bending anomalies.

The video also gives players a closer look at the game’s unique approach to time travel, as The Traveler navigates two time periods – the decaying future and 1980s Poland – thrusting players into the decaying district of New Dawn, inspired by real-life Nowa Huta, where survival means bending time itself.

While exploring a world on the edge of annihilation, players will encounter the grotesque and nightmarish enemies known as The Orphans… twisted remnants of a world undone.

Face the Terror

In addition, the extended gameplay video offers players a chilling glimpse of one of the game’s formidable bosses, the ominous entity known only as Terror. This encounter sets the tone for the psychological and physical horrors that await.

Promising a deeply atmospheric experience, blending psychological horror with innovative mechanics and a rich, time-twisting narrative, Cronos: The New Dawn’s newly released footage offers a tantalizing taste of what’s to come when the game launches this Fall.

Cronos: The New Dawn is set for release in Fall 2025 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation®5, and PC via Steam and Epic. Wishlist now on Steam, Epic, Microsoft Store, and PlayStation to receive updates on this one-of-a-kind survival horror experience. Stay tuned for more horrors to follow soon.

Descenders Next Out Now

No More Robots and RageSquid are excited to reveal that Descenders Next, the long-anticipated follow-up to downhill biking hit Descenders, is out now on Steam, Xbox, and Game Pass for Xbox and PC, with a price point of $29.99 / £24.99 / 28.99 euros.

Starting with snowboarding and mountainboarding, Descenders Next will aim to become the only extreme sports game you’ll ever need, slowly but surely adding more and more adrenaline-fueled activities over time.

Building on the success of Descenders – which has seen 35 million players since it launched seven years ago – Descenders Next is the natural evolution of the original experience. We asked ourselves: Where do we go from Descenders? How do we deliver the same feel, the same sense of speed, but expand beyond mountain biking? From there, the idea of perfecting the fluidity of numerous sports was born.

With Descenders Next, players will learn to conquer the snowy caps through tight, effortless snowboarding action, before taking to the highlands with the grittier feel of mountainboarding. Each sport feels and handles differently, meaning players will have to learn to tackle and master every nook and cranny of Next.

Descenders Next already features as much content as the original Descenders, with full online multiplayer action, tons of tricks and grinds to pull off, and multiple huge biomes to explore. Players will earn rep as they scale the mountain, and use that to buy new boards, kits, helmets, goggles and more to customize their rider.

Last time around, Descenders provided both procedurally-generated tracks, as well as a selection of hand-crafted parks. With Descenders Next we’ve brought it all together with a more natural experience, as players will tackle procedural off-piste mountains that chain together into tight, winding parks and vistas.

The parks in particular provide fresh new challenges, while also acting as Next’s playgrounds of fun. Sometimes you’ll be required to dash down the mountain with your friends as quickly as possible, while other times you’ll be aiming to focus on your tricks and perfect landings. Scavenger hunts will see players exploring every inch of the mountain, and unlocking special rewards for those who venture the deepest.

Top it all off with an absolutely banging soundtrack from Monstercat, and you’ve got even more reasons to spend hours on the slopes, chilling out to the latest in drum and bass hits.

Hell Clock Launch Trailer

Made in Brazil by the Brazilian dev team at Rogue Snail, Hell Clock is a dark retelling of the late 19th century War of Canudos. Players will delve into the depths of Purgatory and Hell, facing down the demons of Brazil’s past, present, and future. Revived time and again by the magical Hell Clock, restricted in the time they can spend in the depths, fighting as fast and as far as possible in each run.

Hell Clock has launched with a full three-act campaign as well as a Beta version of Ascension, an end-game system sure to challenge even the most experienced RPG and roguelike players. Rogue Snail has also shared a content roadmap for the game, including gameplay updates over the next few months, as well as an expansion coming in 2026: Hell Clock: Cursed War. For more information, see the Steam blog from the devs. The base game, future expansion, original soundtrack, and “Step into Hell” visual effect can be purchased as a bundle in the Hell Clock Supporter’s Edition for $29.99.

“Hell Clock is our love letter to Action RPGs, roguelikes, and Brazilian History,” said Mark Venturelli, CEO of Rogue Snail and Creative Director on Hell Clock. “We’re all huge fans of both genres, and we play way too much Path of Exile. Our goal with this game has always been to fit the feeling of an entire PoE league or Diablo season into just a few hours of Hell Clock.”

“But Hell Clock is much more personal to us than that. I grew up in Salvador, the capital of Brazil’s northeastern state of Bahia where the War of Canudos took place. We learned about this massacre growing up, but it’s a black mark on Brazilian history that not many of my countrymen and women outside of Bahia know much about. Hell Clock is an effort to share our culture and our history with the world, both inside and outside of our borders.”

Fans of ARPGs like Diablo and Path of Exile, as well as roguelikes like Hades, will find plenty to love in Hell Clock. Already embraced by both communities, the game’s pre-launch demo received 96% Overwhelmingly Positive reviews on Steam.
