After generating early buzz during its debut at the OTK Games Expo, Toplitz Productions has officially released the latest trailer for its upcoming post-apocalyptic survival title, Permafrost – now available to wishlist on Steam.
Set in a frozen future brought on by the catastrophic shattering of the moon, Permafrost presents a world where ice has swallowed civilization, and the few who remain fight for survival among fractured factions, deadly cold fronts, and crumbling remnants of the past. The new trailer offers an in-depth look at the game’s bleak and beautiful setting, its survival-driven tension, and the human stories buried beneath the snow.
Trailer Highlights:
Frozen Wastelands: A devastated open world shaped by ice, collapse, and the remnants of once-thriving cities.
Survival at Its Core: Endure brutal weather, scarcity, and the constant threat of violence.
Faction Tensions: Align with or oppose rival groups trying to control what little is left.
Canine Companion: You’re not alone. A loyal dog by your side helps you track, survive, and stay human.
Multiplayer Co-op: Brave the cold alone or with others as you can choose to survive the frozen wasteland with up to 3 other players.
Gritty Visuals & Storytelling: A grounded, atmospheric take on survival after the fall of humanity.
Good morrow, my liege! After 150,000 demo downloads, three times as many as Stronghold: Definitive Edition achieved back in 2023, Firefly Studios has compiled thousands of players’ feedback for Stronghold Crusader: Definitive Edition. Channeling these into player requested enhancements, several key improvements are now being made for the game’s release.
Ahead of its July 15th launch, Firefly dives into some of these community requested features and confirms key information on maximum unit counts in their final ‘Feature Spotlight’ development diary.
“Demos are vital to the success of our games” said Nick Tannahill, Firefly Studio Head. “We’ve had loads of fantastic feedback come in since our January reveal and first public demo, with enough time to implement many of these requests before launch. We keep our creative vision and goals for the game, while also getting the community involved and giving them a degree of authorship. It’s a win-win for us.”
Actively played since its original 2002 release by the Stronghold community, some of Crusader’s most knowledgeable and experienced players have given feedback on Firefly’s upcoming Definitive Edition. This feedback was studied in close detail ahead of the game’s reveal earlier this year, with a second round of suggestions gathered through the demo’s feedback form.
“All Crusader Extreme features will be included in Crusader: Definitive Edition, including the epic 10,000 units cap.”
Among the other features requested by players since January, including raising the overall troop count to a whopping 10,000 soldiers in a single game to match that of Stronghold Crusader Extreme, is the addition of Islamic buildings and related workers for the game’s Arabic and Bedouin Lords, as well as many vital bug fixes. The latter addresses specific exploits and issues discovered by the game’s most dedicated players across more than 20 years of play.
From map sizes up to four times the size of those available in the original, through to custom toggles for skirmish mode and online leaderboards, Firefly are striving to tick every possible box for fans of the original game, collating feedback before and after the reveal. A definitive edition should include absolutely everything players want out of Crusader and that’s what this final version of the game intends to deliver.

1047 Games opens the portal to the Splitgate 2 final beta today, welcoming players looking to ramp up their skills ahead of the game’s official launch on PC (Steam and Epic Game Store), Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. 1047 also unleashed a new video for Splitgate 2’s open beta, showcasing the utterly massive amount of content that is now playable (https://www.splitgate.com/).
Splitgate 2’s final open beta showcases the signature fast-action gunplay across a variety of modes the game will offer at launch. 1047 Games promises “one more massive surprise” when they unveil the final component to the game on launch day and the game officially goes 1.0. Player progression will not reset after the beta, so stay locked in because there’s even more on the way.
Fans looking to hone their preferred playstyles across the many game modes offered in the open beta can get a glimpse of what’s available in today’s incredibly badass trailer:
The open beta will be live through Splitgate 2’s 1.0 launch and is FULLY LOADED, offering fans a deep look at what the 1047 team has been hard at work on since 2022, but it’s just the start of what is in store for 1.0 launch day and beyond. Here’s a look at what’s live today:
Debuting today is The Lab, Splitgate 2’s new map creator which allows players to design their very own maps and game modes. Start from scratch and build something awesome, no experience required.
Takedown and Four New Simulation Maps – Takedown is BACK. OG players loved playing Takedown on Splitgate’s Simulation maps. Compete to wipe out the other team before any players can respawn into the game – but there’s a catch: killing makes your team’s respawns shorter, and dying makes your team’s respawns longer. The first team to have all enemy players down at the same time wins.
Stadium 2.0 – An update of the fan-favorite arena map debuts today, joining Bypass, Eden, Frontier, Ozone and Zenith.
New 24-Player Onslaught Maps: Drought and Fracture – These two giant new additions join Glacier for the game’s “Onslaught” modes (previously called Multi-team Portal Warfare in the last Alpha).
Three More New Maps during Beta – That’s not all. Three more new maps will join Splitgate 2 between now and launch…
New Power Weapons – For the first time, in the open beta you’ll get to play with the Borealis, a new showstopping power weapon from the Meridian faction.
Hunt the Devs Returns – For those who didn’t get a chance to participate in 1047’s “Hunt the Devs” event during the Open Alpha, it’s coming back. This is another opportunity to earn an exclusive skin without paying a dime.
How it works: during any match, kill a 1047 dev wearing the special flaming disco ball skin, and you’ll receive the corresponding “Dev Killer” skin for the faction they’re playing. Kill devs playing the Aeros, Sabrask, and Meridian factions and you’ll collect all three.
Locked in yet? More than 25 weapons will be available in the open beta, arming fans with a sampling of the best Splitgate 2 has to offer, with more on the way at and post-launch. Starting today you can check out the stylish and powerful Goliath Revolver, the devastating Charger Shotgun, the appropriately-named FUBAR triple rocket launcher and many more.
During Warhammer Skulls, developer and publisher Owlcat Games made two major announcements — the release date of Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader’s upcoming DLC, Lex Imperialis, and the highly anticipated reveal of Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy.
Become an Inquisitor in Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy
Step into the shadows as an acolyte of the Inquisition in Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy, a second narrative-driven tactical RPG set in the beloved grimdark universe. Set against the backdrop of the Noctis Aeterna and the mystery of the Tyrant Star, players will lead a warband of diverse companions in a desperate battle against heresy and corruption, from loyal Imperial subjects, such as a veteran Guardsman from the death world of Catachan, to nefarious xenos, including a bird-like Kroot mercenary. With intricate investigations, a turn-based combat system, and choices that carry grave consequences, Dark Heresy is an atmospheric dive into the brutality and mysticism of one of the Imperium’s most feared organizations. The game greatly expands on the ideas introduced in Rogue Trader and features fully voiced dialogues.
Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy is coming to Windows PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store) and consoles (PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S). The players can add the game to their wishlist and support the development process by purchasing a Founder’s Pack on the official website.

For this new edition of Pro Cycling Manager, Cyanide studio offers a revised sponsorship management system to further enhance the strategic aspect of the game. Pro Cycling Manager 25 will be available on PC on June 5, 2025.
In Pro Cycling Manager 25, sponsors are discovered throughout the seasons. They also have more prerequisites for signing with your team, such as the origin and age of the cyclists. And, of course, the team’s race results and rankings are of paramount importance. These sponsors are signed individually, which means that you can get several contracts at the same time. By choosing the right sponsors, you can create interesting synergies for your team. From one season to the other, the financial investment can be increased if the conditions for development are met. But greater commitment on their part requires better results from the cycling team in return.
Other sponsor-related mechanics are present in Pro Cycling Manager 25, giving it a crucial role in the management of his cycling team. This choice remains that of the player, and can be made according to objectives and resources available.
Pro Cycling Manager 25 lets you take on the role of team manager, whose decisions are crucial to the success of your cycling team. Manage budgets, recruit riders and attract the attention of sponsors season after season! Sponsors gain in influence in Pro Cycling Manager 25, each with requirements to be met before granting you funding. Last but not least, the AI of competitors has been improved for a more realistic behavior.
