Ghostbusters Coming to Halloween Horror Nights

Universal City, CA, Orlando, Fla. (July 17, 2019) – For the first time ever, Sony Pictures’ classic film, Ghostbusters, is coming to “Halloween Horror Nights” at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort – bringing the most memorable scenes, characters and supernatural spirits from one of pop culture’s most iconic films to life in immersive mazes based off the 1984 classic at the nation’s premier Halloween events, starting this September.

Ghostbusters has entertained generations with its comedic yet frightening tale of four paranormal investigators on their quest to eradicate supernatural threats from creating chaos throughout New York City. As the film marks its milestone 35th anniversary, guests will have the unique opportunity to live the action and terrifying scares they have seen in the hit film when it comes to life at Universal Studios’ “Halloween Horror Nights” in Hollywood and Orlando.

In each maze, guests will follow in the footsteps of the Ghostbusters – Peter, Ray, Egon and Winston – as they venture through artfully recreated scenes from the film, including the firehouse, New York Public Library and the Temple of Gozer, as an army of ghoulish spirits, hideous specters and ectoplasm-dripping phantasms attack from every corner. As they delve deeper into the maze, guests will come face-to-face with an array of paranormal creatures, from the voracious Slimer to the all-powerful Gozer the Gozerian and in its ultimate destructor form – the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, to brave the demonic spirits and survive the night.

Universal Studios’ “Halloween Horror Nights” is the ultimate Halloween event. For more than 25 years, guests from around the world have visited “Halloween Horror Nights” to become victims inside their own horror film. Multiple movie-quality mazes based on iconic horror television shows, films and original stories come to life season after season. And, the streets of each park’s event are transformed into highly-themed scare zones where menacing scare-actors lunge from every darkened corner.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey The Fate of Atlantis Out Now

SAN FRANCISCO — July 16, 2019 — Today, Ubisoft announced that Judgment of Atlantis, the final episode of the post-launch story arc of Assassin’s Creed^® Odyssey The Fate of Atlantis, is now available on the PlayStation^®4 computer entertainment system, the Xbox One family of devices including Xbox One X and Windows PC. Judgment of Atlantis concludes the episodic post-launch story arcs introduced with Legacy of the First Blade and is the final large episodic narrative installation coming to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

Judgment of Atlantis transports players to the legendary world of Atlantis, a gorgeous landscape of architectural progress and clear water, and a playground for Isu knowledge and power. As the last trial to master the Staff of Hermes, players must make the hardest decisions yet in a world where humans and Isu coexist. In this often unstable world, Poseidon, ruler of Atlantis, tries to maintain balance and hopes that our hero, dubbed the Dikastes, judge of Atlantis, will bring harmony to his kingdom.

Each of the episodes of The Fate of Atlantis introduced new ability enhancements related to different branches of the skill tree – Hunter, Warrior and Assassin. In this third episode, players will discover three new ability enhancements, including:

Ares Wrath, part of the Warrior branch of the skill tree, is an enhancement to the Ring of Chaos ability. Players smash the ground with the Broken Spear to create a large area where all enemies inside slow down and take damage after a few seconds.
Blessing of Kronos, part of the Assassin branch, is an enhancement to the Venomous Attacks ability. Player’s receive the Isu Power for a limited amount of time, giving immunity to Isu effects, such as Adrenalin Freeze and Adrenalin Drain. It also boosts the amount of Adrenalin gain and extends weapon range.
Kronos’ Punishment, part of the Assassin branch, is an enhancement to the Call to Arms ability. Create a replica of our hero that performs a stealth attack to the target, so players can assassinate enemies without exposing themselves when there are many enemies close together.

In order to play Judgment of Atlantis, players must complete the previous episodes from The Fate of Atlantis in addition to the below:

Following the main game, players will have to complete the questline Between Two Worlds, the mythological main game story arc and the Lost Tales of Greece questline Heir of Memories that is available after completing the former questline. Finally, they must have reached character level 28 or above.
For players who have not completed the main game, a shortcut was developed allowing them to enter Greece level 52 with all their preset abilities and resources, so they can access Heir of Memories to start their adventure into the afterlife. However, player progression using the shortcut will not carry over to the main game save, and they will not be able to obtain achievements.

The Assassin’s Creed Odyssey post-launch plan has been the biggest and most ambitious in the franchise, and season pass owners have access to two major episodic storylines, Legacy of the First Blade and The Fate of Atlantis. The season pass also includes Assassin’s Creed^® III Remastered and Assassin’s Creed^®Liberation Remastered, which released for the PlayStation^®4 computer entertainment system, the Xbox One family of devices including Xbox One X and Windows PC. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey players will continue to access to free content including the story-focused episodic Lost tales of Greece as well as daily and weekly in-game events.

The Fate of Atlantis can be purchased as part of the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Season Pass for $39.99 or as part of The Fate of Atlantis story arc for $24.99 and will be downloadable for players who already own the Season Pass or Gold Edition starting today.

July 16, 2019 – In October 2019, Bakery Simulator will debut on PC. The new game will allow you to make a career in the bakery industry. Live Motion Games studio announces that the title will stand out, among other things, with its high level of realism and expanded opportunities for business development. The gameplay is based on work in a bakery and the timely delivery of bread. In 2020, the simulator will also appear on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

Bakery Simulator is being created in the Polish studio Live Motion Games and the game will be released on the Steam platform by Gaming Factory S.A. and Ultimate Games S.A.

The new simulator will concentrate on the single-player gameplay and offer a realistic and specific approach to working in the bakery industry. The main elements of Bakery Simulator are working in the bakery and the timely delivery of bread to customers. According to the creators, the player will receive a lot of freedom in managing and developing his bakery.

“Our goal is to provide a high level of realism in Bakery Simulator. This will be the whole production process of bread and other products. For example, baking machines and recipes are based on real equivalents. Helping us with the game is a consultant with 10 years of experience in the bakery industry. At the same time, however, some gameplay elements will be simplified to make the gameplay as attractive and rewarding as possible” says the CEO of Live Motion Games, Michał Kaczmarek.

The action of the simulator will take place in a city with tens of thousands of residents situated in a mountain region and several nearby locations. Starting the bakery business, the player will be able to, among other things, select an appropriate location for the bakery and plan the use of space.

Live Motion Games studio intends to offer many different options. As a result, the players will have a lot of freedom in action. Available activities include, for example, learning new recipes, buying specialist machines and improving the production process. An important role will also be played by logistics related to the delivery of bread to customers. There will also be special and at the same time more profitable orders as well as the possibility of conducting one’s own baking experiments.

“Baking is a specific industry. The finished products do not seem to be too complex but the entire production and logistics process behind baking bread is not at all simple. You must care about very many different elements, including, for example, the right selection and appropriate proportions of ingredients. We are creating a comprehensive simulator, which will certainly in this and other respects positively surprise the players. The gameplay will also be enriched by random elements, which of course will additionally increase the replayability of the game” added Michał Kaczmarek.

Saturn Awards 2019 Nominations List Released

LOS ANGELES (July 15, 2019) – Nominations for the 45^th annual Saturn Awards, honoring motion picture, television, home entertainment and live stage productions, were announced today. A beloved event for many of Hollywood’s top creative talent, the awards show will be available for the first time ever to global fans via a streaming partner, to be announced shortly. All 2019 Saturn Awards winners will be unveiled at the official ceremony on Friday, the 13^th of September at the historic Avalon Theater in Los Angeles.

Leading the way with 14 Saturn Award film nominations is Marvel/Walt Disney Studio’s Avengers: Endgame, and Walt Disney Studio’s Aladdin in second place with nine. For television and streaming, HBO’s Game of Thrones leads with nine nominations, with The Haunting of Hill House and The Walking Dead following second with six nominations each. As a studio overall, Disney leads with 44 nominations among 12 film and television projects across its various companies, Marvel, Walt Disney Studios, Pixar, Lucasfilm Ltd. and the Disney Channel.

As part of the show’s revitalization in 2019, the Saturn Awards has moved from its traditional June date to Friday the 13th of September. To accommodate this change, the eligibility window for this year’s nominations is based on a 16-month eligibility period, which includes projects publicly released from March 1, 2018 through July 7, 2019. The 46^th annual Saturn Awards will be held at the end of summer/early fall 2020 and will resume a 12-month eligibility period.
