Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

February 14, February 21; February 28 (4DX)

Harry Potter’s adventures continue…

After a long summer with the horrid Dursleys, Harry Potter is thwarted in his attempts to board the train to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to begin his second year. Harry’s only transportation option is a magical flying car, but, unfortunately, it crashes into a valuable (and clearly vexed) Whomping Willow.

Still, all this seems like a day in the park compared to what awaits Harry that fall within the haunted halls of Hogwarts. Chilling, malevolent voices whisper from the walls only to Harry, and it seems certain that his classmate Draco Malfoy is out to get him. Soon it’s not just Harry who is worried about survival, as dreadful things begin to happen at the school. The mysteriously gleaming foot-high words on the wall proclaim: “The Chamber of Secrets Has Been Opened. Enemies of the Heir, Beware.” But what exactly does it all mean? Harry, Hermione, and Ron do everything that is wizardly possible–including risking their own lives–to solve this 50-year-old, potentially deadly mystery.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

February 15, February 22; March 1 (4DX)

Sirius Black has escaped from Azkaban … and he’s coming for Harry Potter!

Harry, Ron, and Hermione return as teenagers for a third term at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. But Harry’s fate, and that of the entire community of wizards, looks bleak when the infamous Sirius Black–convicted of abetting evil Lord Voldemort by killing 13 people with a single curse–escapes from prison. The only clue to where Sirius is headed: The Azkaban guards heard Black muttering in his sleep “He’s at Hogwarts … He’s at Hogwarts.”

Now, even within the walls of his magical school, Harry may not be safe from a convicted killer in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire 20th Anniversary

February 16, February 23; March 2 (4DX)

It’s Harry Potter’s fourth term at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry!

Harry, Ron and Hermione look forward to the international Quidditch finals. Harry dreams of spending time with the alluring Cho Chang. He wants to be a normal 14-year-old wizard . . . But Harry is not normal–even by wizarding standards.

This term, for the first time in hundreds of years, a competition will be held between three schools of wizardry, and contestants will be magically chosen for the very dangerous event. Now, as Harry’s lightning scar burns, indicating the evil presence of Lord Voldemort, the Goblet of Fire makes its final selection for the competition–Harry Potter.

RE-ANIMATAOR 40th Anniversary 4K UHD Available for Pre-Order

In celebration of its 40th Anniversary, Re-Animator returns, and for the first time ever, in a stunning 4K UHD restoration, approved by producer Brian Yuzna. The restoration brings new life to this horror classic, based on H.P. Lovecraft’s twisted tale. The new 40th Anniversary 4K UHD Re-Animator poster and trailer dropped today! Pre-orders were also launched today on the Ignite Films website, where it will be exclusively available for the entire 40th Anniversary Year, until 2026, announced Jan Willem Bosman Jansen of Ignite Films and Jim Quan of Eagle Rock Pictures, this morning.

“I’m excited about the 40th Anniversary 4K UHD Blu-ray release of Re-Animator — it looks great! Especially if you have a big screen! An excellent restoration, it is like seeing it for the first time again. Stuart Gordon would have been super proud, and so happy that Re-Animator is still connecting with horror audiences and that this restoration is re-animating the movie in all its glorious madness – just as Herbert West intended!” exclaimed Brian Yuzna, Producer.

The film follows Herbert West, a brilliant yet unhinged medical student who creates a serum that reanimates the dead with horrifying consequences. Director Stuart Gordon’s Re-Animator shocked audiences with his blend of grotesque horror and dark humor and became an instant cult classic upon its release in 1985. The film stars Jeffrey Combs as “Herbert West,” Bruce Abbott as “Dan Cain,” Barbara Crampton as “Megan Halsey,” David Gale as “Dr. Carl Hill,” and Robert Sampson as “Dean Halsey.”

“Working with Brian Yuzna on this 40th Anniversary 4K UHD release of Re-Animator has been an incredible experience. His passion and dedication to the film made the entire process a real pleasure. Seeing this horror classic look better than ever is so exciting, and we can’t wait for fans to celebrate this milestone with us. It’s a true celebration of a film that continues to captivate audiences 40 years later.” – Jim Quan, Eagle Rock Pictures.

This 40th Anniversary release of Re-Animator from Ignite Films and Eagle Rock Pictures captures every gory detail of West’s obsession in vivid 4K and invites fans, old and new, to experience the film’s boundary-pushing terror like never before.

“People love this film! Over time, Re-Animator has only gained more fans who understand its evergreen appeal of an outrageous story, told with humor and horror in a grand and almost operatic way. To see the beautiful new 4K restoration in all its cult glory is a sight to behold. I know cinephiles will enjoy it for years to come,” said Barbara Crampton.

Monster DNA Unveils an All-New Trailer at the Horror Game Awards

Super Rare Games and developers CH757 and Key have unveiled a new trailer for their upcoming Psychological Horror title Monster DNA – offering an exclusive new look at the surgery section of the game.

The newly-showcased surgery section is an essential area in Monster DNA, where the player ensures every monster is not only visually impressive but also built to last from within – treating and implanting healthy, functional organs to prepare them for their violent futures. To elevate their capabilities, each monster is provided with a custom heart. These unique hearts grant specialized skills or abilities, amplifying their overall brutality.

The trailer was shown off during this year’s The Horror Game Awards. Founded in 2022, The Horror Game Awards celebrates horror as “one of the best genres in video games”, and recognises the year’s greatest horror games alongside the developers who make them.

Monster DNA is a single-player psychological horror game where you create deadly monsters and abominations for mysterious clients. But beware… your work might be the death of you. In this twisted lab, survival depends on your wits. One wrong move, and you could perish to your own creations.

In this fully immersive single-player experience, each and every playthrough has its own unpredictable tension, as you fight to avoid falling prey to your own creations. To add to the horror, you will be constantly working to meet each client’s unique challenges and motivations – keeping you on your toes at every step of your monster-birthing journey.

  • Bigger Than Ever: Monster DNA will be greatly improved over the original itch.io release – including all-new content and game mechanics

Midnight Murder Club Is Coming to PS5 with a Crossplay Demo Available Now

After announcing Midnight Murder Club, our newest multiplayer game and a Top 50 Most-Played Demo of Steam Next Fest, the number one question we’ve gotten over the last six months after a handful of betas is, “When is this coming to consoles??” After staying quiet (hiding in a dark corner of Wormwood Manor), we’re thrilled to finally announce that we’re partnering with PlayStation to bring Midnight Murder Club to PS5!

We have a crossplay beta that you can download and play right now*, and we’re excited to share that we’ll be launching the game in Early Access on PS5 and Steam in early 2025. Put on your mask, grab your flashlight and revolver, and quietly step into the shadows of Wormwood Manor for some tense and hilarious fun with your friends.

Midnight Murder Club is a six player shooter-in-the-dark set in a sprawling, pitch-black mansion, where the only light you’ll ever see will come from a flashlight piercing the darkness or gunfire piercing your heart. Turning your flashlight on will let you see which of the 30+ elaborately decorated rooms you’re currently in, but it will also give away your position to your enemies who might be hiding closeby. It’s the ultimate game of flashlight tag.

When you can’t rely entirely on sight, sound becomes that much more important. Midnight Murder Club has detailed positional audio, which we paired with a fantastic implementation of proximity chat for a truly immersive experience. If your teammate’s speaking to you in the main hall, their voice will echo realistically through the hall and into the surrounding rooms. When a gunfight breaks out in another part of the mansion, you’ll be able to accurately follow the muffled player laughter and gunfire to point you in the direction of the action. It’s like you’re actually in the mansion!

In a game where using all of your senses matters, working with PlayStation to bring DualSense-specific features to both PS5 and Steam was the obvious choice. While stumbling around in the inky black mansion, the DualSense controller adds an unprecedented sense of touch to the game when you bump into something. Running your hand along the wall to keep your bearings, bumping into a suit of armor, and struggling to open a door as you escape gunfire is brought to life like never before thanks to DualSense. To further immerse you in the mansion, we use adaptive triggers to give weight to every click of your flashlight and every pull of your trigger.

To further spice things up, you’ll find vending machines that give you access to a variety of devilish toys. Take night vision pills to temporarily see in the dark, deploy an inflatable, flashlight-holding mannequin to fool other players, tear through the shadows with a torrent of bullets from a machine gun, and more!

Midnight Murder Club has a handful of different game modes that will be available in the full release, and you can try two of them in the Crossplay Beta that’s available now:

  • Free-for-All – Six people enter the mansion, and the player with the most kills when time runs out wins.

  • Thief in the Night – Three teams of two scour the mansion for valuable skulls to deposit into a vault. When the last vault closes, the team with the most money wins.

Shadow Labyrinth – Reveal Trailer

At The Game Awards, Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. announced SHADOW LABYRINTH, a visionary inspired new game set in a Sci-Fi universe that draws from the company’s legendary arcade franchises. Developed by Bandai Namco Studios, the core theme of the game features a thrilling and visceral new take on the company’s most beloved icon, PAC-MAN. The reveal of SHADOW LABYRINTH unravels the mystery of this new vision for the PAC-MAN franchise as seen in Secret Level, Prime Video’s adult-animated anthology series, as the setting for a 2D action-platformer where players must consume to survive on a hostile alien world. SHADOW LABYRINTH is coming in 2025 to Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X | S, and PC via Steam®. For more information, visit www.shadowlabyrinthgame.com.

Find out more about the Secret Level episode from Prime Video here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/video/detail/B0DJPSHPLX

SHADOW LABYRINTH is a broad departure from any previous PAC-MAN game, where players take on the role of another character as protagonist, named Swordsman No. 8. In the game, following the events introduced in the Secret Level animated short, players awaken on an alien planet still ravaged by war and monsters. They quickly encounter PUCK, a mysterious yet recognizable figure who teaches them that their aim in this treacherous world is to escape it, and to achieve that they must consume everything that waits in the darkness to survive – and ultimately become the planet’s apex predator. Drawing even more inspiration from the source material for this unique game, players traverse a maze-filled world where enemies and puzzles new and familiar will challenge them at every step. Success comes from mastery of fluid combat and exploration to uncover increasingly powerful abilities and skills and conquering challenging bosses to discover their true purpose.

As players progress through SHADOW LABYRINTH and dive deeper into the maze of this mysterious world, they will discover its secrets and learn why PUCK chose them for this task. The game draws even wider inspiration for story and setting from Bandai Namco’s broader library of beloved arcade games. While there is much more to reveal about this thrilling new adventure, astute fans will find early hints of connections to other iconic games in the reveal trailer.

Sid Meier’s Civilization VII Opening Cinematic Released

2K and Firaxis Games debuted today the in-game opening cinematic to Sid Meier’s Civilization VII at The Game Awards 2024. During the show, in-person attendees were treated to an epic live orchestral performance accompanying the cinematic, featuring music specially composed by GRAMMY® award-winning composer Christopher Tin.

Voiced-over by Civilization VII-narrator Gwendoline Christie (“Game of Thrones,” “Star Wars” franchise), the opening cinematic takes viewers on a journey through the Ages. As a lone farmer uncovers a buried and rusted saber, we see its history unfold. The saber passes from one generation to the next, across different cultures and regions of the world, illuminating a central theme of the game – that history is built in layers. The full uncut version of the opening cinematic is available to watch here.

In addition to the opening cinematic, the main theme for Civilization VII, “Live Gloriously,” was also revealed. Composer Christopher Tin shares: “With ‘Live Gloriously,’ I wanted to capture universal themes of hope, heroism and mortality that have resonated across history. You’ll hear words from The Iliad, Beowulf, Popol Vuh and Ramayana, delivering a beautiful sense of gravity and emotion that embodies the story of humanity.”

Sid Meier’s Civilization VII launches on February 11, 2025 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, and Mac and Linux via Steam. Sid Meier’s Civilization VII is currently rated E10+ by the ESRB. Firaxis Games is a 2K studio. 2K is a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO).
