Crytek, in partnership with Saber Interactive, the team that brought The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to Nintendo Switch last year, has released a new trailer that dives into the technology used to bring the sci-fi classic Crysis Remastered to life on Switch.

Take a look at the game’s signature groundbreaking visuals, destructible open sandbox world, and adaptive gameplay on a brand-new platform. Vegetation bending, upgraded textures, depth of field and motion blur, enhanced dynamic lighting, global illumination (SVOGI), gyro aiming, and even sharks (…sharks?) are all packed into Crytek’s debut game on Switch.

Dustoff Z Announcement Trailer

Zordix Publishing and Invictus Games today announced Dustoff Z, the third chapter in the popular Dustoff helicopter search and rescue combat series, will release later this year for PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.

The world as we know it is in ruins. Relentless hordes of the undead have reduced civilization to tiny pockets of survivors that are disappearing by the day. The world has one hope left – a brave and daring police helicopter pilot with a knack for machinery. Pilot helicopters salvaged together from small vehicles to retrofitted school buses and equip them with an arsenal of different zombie-destroying weapons including machine guns, rocket launchers, buzz saws, tesla coils and more.

But, saving the day can’t be done alone. Hire shooters to put those weapons to use, each with their own unique strengths and weaknesses, as you decimate the zombie population, rescue survivors, protect aid-providing convoys, and destroy high-value enemy targets. Use your chopper’s winch hook to haul in and collect supplies, place base defenses, haul the corpses of zombies back to your base for analysis and even use objects in the environment as weapons like battering rams. Play solo or enlist a friend to step behind the guns as you deftly maneuver your helicopter through the decimated cityscapes overrun by the zombie hordes.

Knott’s Announces Taste of Calico Event Inside Ghost Town

While Knott’s Berry Farm theme park remains closed, Knott’s Ghost Town is the setting for the all-new, limited time outdoor food and retail experience, Knott’s Taste of Calico.  During this specially ticketed outdoor event, guests will be able to take a nostalgic stroll through the streets of Calico, sample unique Knott’s culinary creations including boysenberry specialties, visit local crafters and shop at our unique stores. The only way to experience the limited time Taste of Calico is with a tasting card purchased in advance at knotts.com (one tasting card is required per person, per entrance). The new event will take place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, July 17th through July 19th and the following Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, July 24th through July 26th. Event hours will be Fridays and Saturdays from 4pm to 10pm and Sundays from 12pm to 8pm. Guests will be required to purchase a tasting card online, which will offer access to the event area, and the ability to make selections from 23 specialty food and beverage offerings. Regular tasting cards (ages 12+) are priced at $25 (plus tax) and will include five food tastings and Jr. (ages 3-11) tasting cards are $15 (plus tax) and include three tastings, children two and under are free. As Knott’s Berry Farm continues to follow state, local and CDC health guidelines, these are the new safety measures and operational changes we are establishing to ensure the safety of our guests. Here is what to expect when visiting:

  • Admission will be limited each day to ensure physical distancing
  • Upon arrival, guests will be asked to enter a temperature screening and security checkpoint at the main gate
  • All associates and guests must wear a facial covering while visiting Taste of Calico or the Knott’s California Marketplace store locations and restaurants – masks are not required while eating.
  • Frequently touched surfaces will be disinfected daily and sanitized frequently. This includes but is not limited to cash counters, scanners, EMV readers, pens at cashier counters, register screens, store fixtures, door handles, and shopping baskets.
  • Signage is present to aid guests in the proper direction of travel and as a reminder to practice social distancing.
  • Seating will be spaced out throughout the Taste of Calico event footprint
  • Hand sanitizing stations are available throughout the event area.
  • All associates are screened, including temperature and symptom checks using CDC guidelines before being allowed on the property to work.
  • Associates have been trained on the importance of handwashing, physical distancing, and overall hygiene.
  • Separate entrances and exits will appear at some store locations.
  • Store occupancy is limited to less than 50% of the normal building capacity. Queue lines outside of store locations with six-foot markers are present where applicable.

Today, SQUARE ENIX® announced that the next Marvel’s Avengers War Table digital stream will premiere on July 29 at 10:00am PDT and will provide an exclusive in-depth look at the Marvel’s Avengers beta program, which begins on August 7.

The Marvel’s Avengers War Table offers a world-premiere look at new trailers and information about the upcoming Super Hero game. Indie developer Early Morning Studio today announced that their gothic turn-based RPG, Vampire’s Fall: Origins is coming to Nintendo Switch and Xbox One this Autumn. Available on Steam, App Store and Google Play, Vampire’s Fall: Origins, has amassed a dedicated community of players praising the clever way the game applies classic RPG elements to create a fun, slightly dark-humoured roleplaying experience that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

EVE Online Zenith Quadrant 3 Launch Trailer

EVE Online: Zenith – 2020 Quadrant 3 Trailer:

The Zenith Quadrant begins with a big update to the Abyssal Proving Grounds feature, and the introduction of new Proving Filaments to New Eden. The Proving Filaments, attainable from today, will take pilots from any point in space directly to an Abyssal Proving Ground inside Abyssal Deadspace where they will engage in PvP combat. Different combat formats, specific ship classes, new leaderboards and new Triglavian-themed settings will all ensure an explosive start to this Quadrant.

QuakeCon at Home Announced for 2020

The 25th Annual QuakeCon will be the very first QuakeCon held remotely, but that won’t stop us from getting together to frag with friends, bond over video games, and raise money to do good in the world … just like always.

This year, due to COVID-19, QuakeCon at Home will be a global, totally online event – kicking off August 7 and ending August 9 – filled with three days of livestreams from around the world, tournaments (of course!), charity fundraising, and more. And the BYOC – the heart of QuakeCon – is going virtual, using Twitch Teams to bring fans together through games in new ways.

Here are a few QuakeCon at Home highlights:

· Global Super Stream – QuakeCon at Home will feature a weekend packed with streamed content from around the globe, kicking off on Friday, August 7 at 11:00am AM CST with Bethesda’s QuakeCon Digital Welcome. The event schedule will feature round-the clock programming with special influencer streams, surprises, and our very own Bethesda Community teams from around the globe – all streaming from home in support of charitable causes. Stay tuned for more info, including the full stream schedule, in the coming weeks!

· QuakeCon Twitch Team – Playing and sharing games with friends in the BYOC is the core of QuakeCon, and this year the global QuakeCon community will unite and connect for the first time through the official QuakeCon at Home Twitch Team. From the comfort of their own homes, the top 24 players around the globe will compete to win their share of $150,000 Prizing and the title of Season Champion. · Charity Initiatives – Raising money for charities has been a key part of QuakeCon for years, and attendees have made a huge impact for local, national and international groups. We are excited to continue this legacy in both a global and local way.
