Announced today during QuakeCon at Home, in celebration of 25 years since the release of the dark fantasy first-person shooter, an enhanced version of the original Quake is available today on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass for console and PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and backward compatible on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. Japan Air Self Defense Force Comes to ACE COMBAT 7: Skies Unknown

In its continuing mission to deliver the best air combat gaming experience to fans, the Project Aces team has created a DLC package featuring the aircraft skins of the Japan Air Self Defense Force (JASDF) which will be available for download on August 31. NACON Aquires CREA-TURE Studios

After acquiring 11 studios over the past 3 years, this new transaction allows NACON to consolidate its position as a developer-publisher by strengthening its expertise in the production of quality games.

NACON announces that it has finalized the signature of a protocol for the acquisition of 100% of CREA-TURE Studios. This transaction allows NACON to support the remarkable know-how of the team of developers specialized in the creation of skateboarding games. The acquisition of CREA-TURE Studios contributes to strengthening NACON’s editorial positioning in the very promising sports simulation niche, both on PC and consoles.

CREA-TURE Studios has built its reputation on the long experience of its founding directors, Marc-André HOUDE (20 years of experience in animation and environment creation in groups such as Ubisoft, Square Enix, Warner…) and Vincent DA SILVA (nearly 25 years of experience in programming and project management for companies such as Behaviour, Hibernum and Warner).

They will continue to lead the CREA-TURE Studios team, enjoying a great deal of autonomy in order to focus on the creative aspect of their productions, while benefiting from the commercial, editorial and marketing support of Nacon’s teams.

Claiming to be “the most authentic experience” in skateboarding, Session was originally planned for PC and Xbox One, with a presence since September 2019 in early access on Steam Early Access and Xbox Game Preview. Currently enjoying 86% positive reviews on Steam, it was decided to launch Session on Xbox Series, PS5, Xbox One, PS4 and PC in its full version.

“This acquisition is part of our ongoing external growth strategy and allows us to further expand our portfolio in the sports game segment. Completionists: Can you save every single Mudokon in the game, there are more than 1,000? Can you achieve the best ending and unlock the final two playable levels? Can you scavenge every trash can and locker, kill or safely apprehend every antagonist, find every hidden area, collect every jelly? 3+m players have had the opportunity to do it…will you be the first to do it on Xbox?

Multiple Endings: Soulstorm has 15 levels, with two additional unlockable levels at the end of the game (making for 17 levels in all). There are 4 types of endings in the game. At the end of each individual level, you receive a Quarma score, which is based on the number of Mudokons you save. You must save at least 80% of the Mudokons in a level to achieve a good score, but to make it clear, you don’t have to save any to progress through the game’s first 15 levels. If you save at least 80% in up to six levels, you will earn the worst ending. If you achieve that score in at least 7 and not higher than 11 levels, you unlock the bad ending which has an explosive ending cinematic. If you save 80% in at least 12 of the 15 levels, you earn the good ending unlocking an additional cinematic and levels 16 and 17. Lastly, if you secure 80% in all 17 levels you earn an additional ending (newspaper cinematic).

Oddworld: Soulstorm is currently available on the Epic Games Store for PC. The physical and digital PS5 and PS4 versions are available right now. It is in development for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.

Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.3 Available Now

CD PROJEKT RED today announced the latest patch for Cyberpunk 2077 — Patch 1.3 — is now available for the game across all platforms.

The patch includes an array of improvements and fixes, both stability- and performance-wise, geared toward enhancing the overall gameplay experience for all players. The full, detailed patch notes can be found in a dedicated article on the official Cyberpunk 2077 website.

Patch 1.3 also includes the first batch of free additional content for Cyberpunk 2077. These include the brand new Archer Quartz “Bandit” car, two new jackets for V to wear around Night City, and an alternate appearance for rebel rockerboy Johnny Silverhand. So far this year, CD PROJEKT RED has released numerous patches and hotfixes for Cyberpunk 2077, including Patch 1.3. Hellraiser Comes to Dead by Daylight

Dead by Daylight’s Stellar Year Continues

Hellraiser is the latest major horror franchise to join Dead by Daylight and marks yet another milestone in an already stellar year for Behaviour Interactive’s action/horror hit. This additional IP arrives on the heels of the Resident Evil Chapter’s huge commercial and critical success, launched alongside Dead by Daylight’s fifth anniversary in June. Those celebrations were themselves followed closely by another landmark moment as Dead by Daylight set a participation record for concurrent players on all platforms with numbers skyrocketing to a high of over 207,000 concurrent users in June.

Visiting the Midnight Falls residents in the town square, neighborhoods and exploring the local establishments reveal more of the strange and sinister secrets behind this eerie town.

The Town Square of Midnight Falls is the epicenter of the festivities. While guests walk around between attractions or hang out to soak in the atmosFEAR various townsfolk from the Midnight Falls community roam the space interacting with guests and attending to their local business.

The Haunted Hayride Experience: Spirit of Halloween

Within the foothills of Midnight Falls, The Hayride leads to a thrilling adventure of horrors afflicting the town. Out in the darkness, a portal has opened spilling hideous creatures from its rotted mouth. The spirit of Halloween comes to life surrounding helpless victims brave enough to board The Hayride.

With summer’s end, as the leaves turn brown it is said the veil between the living and the dead is at its thinnest. The witch of the woods has cast her spell to summon the spirits of the underworld to cross over and assimilate into form using various objects found among town including decorations used for celebrating Halloween. Dazed within the spell cast upon them, the Witch commands her army of crops and flesh to seek revenge on the people that have casted her out.

SkyPark at Santa’s Village today announces its Pumpkins in the Pines October festivities lineup. After its busiest summer ever, SkyPark at Santa’s Village welcomes Fall guests to a variety of fun weekend activities, from pumpkin patches to cookie decorating and crafts, to a community sponsored trick-or-treat event and costume party.

“This isn’t your average Pumpkin Patch,” says Michelle Johnson, SkyPark at Santa’s Village’s Creative Director. “We love Fall and it’s reflected in our changing-of-the-seasons Fall decor and pumpkins throughout the park. We’ve made Pumpkins in the Pines the mountain top day-destination, family friendly Fall festival with special characters, seasonal food, and Fall themed activities you won’t find anywhere else!”

The Coachworks Pumpkin Patch will give guests a chance to find the perfect pumpkin. Choose the perfect pumpkin and paint it in Santa’s Workshop. The Monster Mash Light Show will enchant guests throughout the park with colorful lights and Halloween music. In the evening, the Fantom Forest will thrill guests with a unique walk-through haunted hike. Seasonal characters and special shows and experiences will also be featured throughout the park, including Wacko the Magician, the Sleepy Hollow Puppet Show, and much more! Seasonal treats will be available throughout the park.
