11 bit studios Showcase Delivers New Trailers, DLC, and More

Today, 11 bit studios hosted its first-ever digital showcase, presenting a wide range of updates, new trailers, and behind-the-scenes insights across both internally developed and published titles. The show highlighted major content drops for The Alters and Frostpunk 2, two new trailers for Death Howl – launching December 9th on PC, and on February 19th on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch – an update on the road ahead for Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault in Early Access, and a deeper look at how work is progressing on Frostpunk 1886.

First up, two flagship titles from 11 bit studios’ in-house teams took to the stage. Today, The Alters, a sci-fi personal survival game, receives its first Free Major Content Update, introducing highly requested features like Relax Mode and Photo Mode, alongside a revamped saving system that allows saving on exit and during key gameplay moments. The update also adds a card-based mini-game, a new black-and-white noir-styled story mission, and more.

At the same time, the society-survival city-builder Frostpunk 2 sees the launch of its first DLC – Fractured Utopias – which reforges the Utopia Builder Mode and arrives simultaneously for the recently released console version. In addition, all Frostpunk 2 owners will receive a batch of new free content included in the latest game update. Both The Alters and Frostpunk 2 will continue to be supported with fresh content and DLCs through 2026.

Next, a duo of publishing titles – Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault and Death Howl – had their moments in the spotlight. Death Howl launches tomorrow, December 9th, on PC, and with a free demo still available on Steam, players can experience the appealing uniqueness of this deck-builder infused with soulslike elements, action-RPG exploration of eerie biomes, and tactical, grid-based combat. Console players can hop into the journey through grief on February 19th, 2026.

Meanwhile, the developers at Digital Sun shared a “work-in-progress” outlook for Moonlighter 2’s next steps in its Early Access journey and thanked players for the continuous feedback that is directly shaping development.

To mark the moment, Death Howl and Moonlighter 2 have extended their spotlight beyond the showcase, with new themed merchandise appearing in our store, alongside limited discounts on select apparel.

Pre-Orders Open for iam8bit Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 Musical Collection

iam8bit, in collaboration with Universal Pictures and Blumhouse, returns to the world of Five Nights at Freddy’s with a new lineup of musical collectibles featuring the creepy and kinetic Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 movie soundtrack in three different formats. Available now for pre-order through January 7, the collection includes a 1xLP vinyl, CD and cassette, each containing the full 24-song track album, and will begin shipping in Q2 2026. Additionally, Back Lot Music has released the digital soundtrack, which is now available on all streaming platforms.

With music by The Newton Brothers (Midnight Mass, Haunting of Hill House) and album design by Scott Saslow, the physical collection features the retro-inspired score from Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, Blumhouse’s sequel film based on the globally popular video game series.

“For the second film, we wanted to push the sonic palette with bigger themes, stranger textures, and a more aggressive sense of rhythm,” said The Newton Brothers. “The goal was to evolve FNAF’s musical identity while keeping the vibe, the obscure, the fun, and the horror that defined the first score.”

Included in the collection are:

  • Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 Vinyl Soundtrack ($31.99): Pressed on eye-catching FazTalker Green Vinyl, this record comes in four variant covers designed by Scott Saslow, each featuring a different animatronic. Collectors are guaranteed to receive all four by purchasing the Four Vinyl Bundle ($127.69).
  • Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 2xCD ($19.99): A carefully curated compact disc release boasting sinister cover art that features the whole animatronic gang.
  • Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 Cassette ($19.99): To pair with the retro-like score, this cassette comes in an old-school style shell packaging housed in FazTalker Letter Green plastic with Freddy and crew on the cover.

The Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise was born from game developer Scott Cawthon’s video game series and has become a longstanding pop culture phenomenon. The series follows unsuspecting security guards who uncover the dark history hidden inside a family-friendly pizza chain haunted by animatronics Freddy, Chica, Bonnie, Foxy and more. The franchise has since expanded into a film series from Blumhouse, with the latest installment releasing in theaters today.

iam8bit’s entire Five Nights at Freddy’s collection is available at iam8bit.com, and pre-orders for the latest products are available now.

Hello Sunshine Unveils New Trailer at the PC Gaming Show

Red Thread Games offered a fresh look at the highly-anticipated survival mystery Hello Sunshine with a new trailer exclusively unveiled at the PC Gaming Show Most Wanted, where it was also revealed that Hello Sunshine will be published by UK publisher, Megabit when the game launches in 2026.

Watch the new trailer and get a glimpse of what to expect in the game here:

Whether alone or with a friend in co-op, players walk in the shadow of a giant robot across a scorched, war-torn world. There is one simple rule: stay out of the sun. Step outside the robot’s shade during the day and players will find that the punishing heat will eventually kill them; remain close, and they might last until nightfall.

However, survival means leaving the robot’s shadow to scavenge for water, food, and resources. The wastelands are littered with the wreckage of a fallen corporate empire — abandoned service stations, shattered machinery, half-dead drones, and ruins still humming with autonomous tech. Everything salvaged can be recycled and turned into weapons, tools, and protective gear.

When the robot stops to recharge at night, players make camp. Cook, craft, repair, and upgrade equipment — including the robot itself. The bond between human and machine deepens over time, shaped by how players treat their towering companion. At the campfire, visiting strangers may drift into the firelight with stories that hint at what really happened to the world.

Will players piece together the mystery of this broken world before it’s too late?

Players eager to experience Hello Sunshine can sign-up to be part of an upcoming playtest at http://hellosunshine.appv

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV Story Trailer Released

Deep Silver and KING Art Games are proud to announce that Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV has been officially recognized as one of PC Gamer’s Most Wanted Titles for 2026. https://store.steampowered.com/app/2272360/Warhammer_40000_Dawn_of_War_IV/

To celebrate this moment, KING Art Games is teasing a glimpse into the flagship Story Campaign, co-written by legendary Black Library author John French, which climaxes with The Dark Angels Space Marine Chapter, the first legion, answering the call of the Blood Ravens in their hour of greatest darkness.

Watch the Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV story trailer here:

Epic war unfolds on Kronus

The trailer opens with a look at how the Blood Ravens under Captain Cyrus and Chief Librarian Jonah Orion have arrived in orbit over Kronus at the start of the game. After an intense orbital fight with the Warboss Gorgutz and his Orks, both factions find themselves planetside where Guzcutta – the second Ork Commander – is already waiting.

Elsewhere on Kronus, Technoarcheologist Potentia Delta-9 surveys the planet for its lost knowledge as the Chronomancer Thothmek begins the Necron’s invasion, awakening Kronus’ dormant tombs in their own search for secrets.

The Imperium’s forces are beset on all sides, their last stand losing strength and the lines on the verge of collapse until, at the last moment, it becomes clear they are not alone: the Dark Angels arrive.

The Dark Angels

For the first time in Dawn of War history, players will be able to play as two factions of Space Marines: the Blood Ravens and the Dark Angels, the latter of which are fully playable in all game modes.

Key things to know:

  • During the Space Marines campaign, players will undertake missions in command of both the Blood Ravens and the Dark Angels, and they can pick which missions they want to play
  • The Dark Angels have their own, playable Commanders for the Space Marines campaign: Company Master Astoran & Chaplain Ezrael
  • The Dark Angels have their own unique identity and history. As Space Marines, they share core strategies, tactics, wargear, and weaponry, while still maintaining the distinctive flavor and abilities of their Chapter
  • While the Blood Ravens are often engaged in smaller conflicts that require tactical finesse and sometimes involve stealth, the Dark Angels deploy their full might to the biggest battlefields
  • As the story saga reaches its breaking point, Lion El’Jonson himself descends onto the battlefield, giving players, for the first time ever, the chance to wield the legendary might of a Space Marine Primarch in a climactic, unforgettable finale

Kronus is a world in ruins, and the future is untold, but one thing is certain: War has returned to Kronus.
