NACON and Cyanide Studio are proud to show the first gameplay images of Tour de France 2023 in a new trailer. The latest edition of the iconic cycling game boasts a range of improvements, including the new “Downhill of the Moment” game mode. Tour de France 2023 will be available on 8 June 2023 on PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). From Bilbao to Paris, never ease up in Tour de France 2023
The official game of the Tour de France is back. In Tour de France 2023, players get on their bikes to race in a group of major races in the cycling calendar – the Tour de France, Liège-Bastogne-Liège, Flèche Wallonne, Paris-Nice, Critérium du Dauphiné, Paris-Tours, Paris-Roubaix – and experience the excitement of each event. During the game, players become a rider for one of the 27 World Tour and Pro Tour teams in different game modes.

Explore all the new features in Tour de France 2023:

  • As well as the “Race of the Moment”, which was introduced in the previous edition, a new challenge has been added: the “Downhill of the Moment“. This new game mode takes place solely on downhill stretches and so requires unique strategies. Players can then compare their ranking with other competitors from all over the world.
  • More realistic rating system: the introduction of Agility and Medium Mountain ratings can lead to unexpected incidents, such as falls within the peloton, and also has an effect on what path the riders take.
  • More strategic gameplay: players can devise different strategies depending on their team members and their statistics.
  • Updated rider equipment, now rated based on quality.
  • Distinctive bibs added: “Super Combative” and “Best Team” for a greater challenge.
  • Various technical improvements: including collisions, AI behaviour and the path riders take in downhill stretches.

World of Tanks Introduces Cosmic Adventure with Martian Combat

The developers of World of Tanks are launching an interstellar showdown pitting players in a fierce and unrestricted Martian melee. From May 11th to May 22nd, tankers can loot the mysterious surface of Mars in a specially designed research vehicle and engage in some epic combat.

This isn’t your typical battle. With a new set of abilities and power-ups, players will have the chance to truly flex their off-world combat skills. Take control of the alien-made “Artifact” in the center of the map, hit the opponents with Impulse Gun shots, or just ram them to oblivion, and take advantage of buffs that can give a serious edge in the competition.

The mysterious alien “Artifact” that players must scan awaits in the center of the map: an old crater with a peculiar terrain. Along with the iconic Martian red dust, there are many hazards. Deep chasms, complex rock formations and several perilous pools of highly corrosive acid. The edges of the area offer breathtaking views, so it’s easy to lose concentration and fall off the cliffs.

To explore the planet, tankers will have access to their own Mars Rover, an innovative six-wheeled research vehicle that’s built to traverse the perilous terrain of Mars. Armed with advanced Impulse Gun technology, players will be able to zap their opponents with ease. And even if a rover gets destroyed, it will be respawned and will rejoin the battle.

Layers of Fear Cinematic Intro and Demo News

To celebrate the upcoming release, Bloober Team and Anshar Studios have announced that a PC demo of Layers of Fear (2023) will be available on Steam starting from May 15th at 8 AM PT until May 22nd at 3 PM PT. This short demo will allow players to jump into the first few minutes of the game and experience the game’s opening cinematic video, which introduces the story of the Writer, the game’s final protagonist.

In addition to the demo, Bloober Team is excited to announce a special Steam livestream for Layers of Fear debuting next week. Joining the livestream will be Damian Kocurek, Creative Director of Anshar Studios, who will provide a walkthrough commentary of the demo and engage in a discussion with Laura Bernaś, PR Manager at Bloober Team. World of Warships: Legends Introduces Jötunn of the Seas Campaign

Wargaming, the publisher and developer of the popular multiplayer naval battle MMO game World of Warships, are making waves with its latest content update for World of Warships: Legends. Plenty of Tier VIII ships drop anchor in Legendary waters, with a mix of cruisers, destroyers and battleships, including a brand-new German cruiser waiting at the end of a new campaign. On top of this, a new line of Italian destroyers comes to the Tech Tree in Early Access, a five-week calendar with a brand-new Commander becomes available from the get-go, and three seasons of Brawls await players.

Italian Destroyers make waves in the Early Access
Leading this update comes a new line of Italian destroyers to the Tech Tree to surprise your foes! Equipped with Engine Boost and Exhaust Smoke Generator consumables, these destroyers can generate significant power, making them swift additions to any fleet. In addition, this line also features Semi-Armour-Piercing shells, and can inflict serious direct damage to enemy ships via their high-powered guns and torpedoes.

This new line can be discovered through Early Access crates, available through campaign rewards & the new Squadrone Sfuggente Calendar, and special “random bundles”, a new entity, that drops a variety of in-game items.

Jötunn of the Seas Campaign summons Ägir
Legends also sees a new campaign introduced in this update, called Jötunn of the Seas. Waiting at the end is the new German Tier VIII cruiser Ägir, named for the Norse giant, a personification of the seas. The O-Class cruiser sports nine 12-inch (305 mm) guns, and two quadruple torpedo launchers built to destroy anything standing in its way. On top of all this, Ägir also has Enhanced Secondary Targeting, which is a rare feature for cruisers, as well as a robust hit point pool, Sonar consumable and a solid anti-air suite.

Even more Tier VIII Ships
Beyond the addition of Ägir come five more Tier VIII ships to take into battle. Available to players who have unlocked Tier VIII ships from this respective mix of cruisers, destroyers and battleships, these ships span Italian, Soviet and Pan-European origin. Special highlights include Pan-European destroyer Småland and Italian batleship Lepanto.

Counting down the days to Squadrone Sfuggente Calendar
The month of May also brings a special calendar, called Squadrone Sfuggente, to Legends. Dedicated to Italy’s fleet, this five-week calendar will be packed with exciting challenges and daily and weekly rewards. Waiting at the end of the calendar is an exclusive final prize, a brand-new Italian Commander Carlo Bergamini, already at rank 7, perfectly equipped to helm the new line of Italian Destroyers.

Called to the Brawl
Finally, Brawl returns in this update with three seasons to play through. Commencing on June 1, get in on the action with non-aircraft carrier ships to assert naval dominance and win a variety of prizes!

National Lampoon’s Vacation Getting Ultra HD Blu-ray and Digital Release

National Lampoon’s Vacation, directed by Harold Ramis and starring Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo as Clark and Ellen Griswold, will be released on Ultra HD Blu-ray and Digital on June 27. As Warner Bros celebrates its 100th anniversary, this film is highlighted as a studio gem on its 40th anniversary.

The 1983 classic comedy film from Warner Bros. Pictures was written by John Hughes and was based on his short story “Vacation ’58 which appeared in the publication “National Lampoon.” The film was produced by Matty Simmons and also stars Imogene Coca, Randy Quaid, John Candy, Anthony Michael Hall, Dana Barron, and Christie Brinkley in her acting debut. National Lampoon’s Vacation also features special appearances by Eddie Bracken, Brian-Doyle Murray, James Keach, and Eugene Levy.
