Goodbye Deponia E3 Teaser Trailer

Hamburg, Los Angeles, June 11th 2013. On the first day of E3 Daedalic gives their fans another breath of Deponia’s fresh air: Today the first teaser for Goodbye Deponia has been released.

Of course Deponia wouldn’t be Deponia without Rufus and his spectacular accidents. You can get a glimpse at some of them right now in the teaser:

During E3 in Los Angeles Daedalic Entertainment presents first ingame-scenes and impressions of Goodbye Deponia.

In addition to Goodbye Deponia the developer from Hamburg also introduces Blackguards, a turn-based RPG, as well as their new adventure games Memoria and 1954: Alcatraz.

The Walking Dead: 400 Days chronicles the horrific aftermath of the undead outbreak through the eyes of five new characters as they struggle to survive the first 400 days of the apocalypse. Playable in any order, the five connected short stories are centered in and around a Georgia truck stop, where players will be thrust into horrifying situations that will test their morals and control the flow of the story through their decisions and actions.

The Walking Dead: Season One is coming to the PlayStation®Vita handheld entertainment system and will include The Walking Dead: 400 Days. Featuring hybrid touch controls unique to PS®Vita, fans can now take the apocalypse on the road and enjoy the entirety of Season One in one package.

Nyko Reveals Nvidia Shield Accessories

The SHIELD Dock utilizes Nyko’s patented dongle charging system to provide a sleek and easy alternative for powering the device and utilizing its HDMI capabilities. The dongle attaches directly to SHIELD, and works seamlessly with the device. Simply place the unit into the dock and SHIELD will begin to charge while outputting to the attached display. The SHIELD Dock is powered by the same AC adapter that ships with SHIELD, and features a full-sized HDMI port allowing for easy connection to any HDTV screen. Users can also pair a Nyko PlayPad with SHIELD while in the dock to turn the device into an ultra-portable console playing and streaming their favorite Android and PC titles. The SHIELD Dock will be released later this year.

Nyko is also showing two separate cases for SHIELD. The Travel Case is an EVA soft case while the Shell Case is a high-impact hard case. Both cases fully encapsulate SHIELD, providing total protection.

Each case is custom fitted to the exact specifications of the device and features a rubberized interior for added protection against bumps and scrapes. A detachable accessory bag is included to store the AC adapter and any necessary cables while traveling. An included carabineer allows the case to be conveniently attached to a laptop bag or backpack. Both the Travel Case and Shell Case will be available this summer.

The Power Kit provides all the necessary adapters and cables to recharge SHIELD at home, while traveling, or in the car. The kit includes one AC adapter, one car adapter and one extra-long Micro USB cable with Velcro strap.

The Power Kit is an ideal replacement or secondary bundle for those looking to recharge SHIELD. The Power Kit will be available this summer.

World of Warplanes Sets Date for Open Beta

June 11, 2013 — Wargaming, the leading free-to-play developer and publisher, today announced that the company’s highly anticipated free-to-play aerial combat MMO World of Warplanes will go into open beta testing on July 2, 2013.

Dedicated to aerial combat featuring aircraft from the late 1930’s to the beginning of the Korean War, World of Warplanes pits virtual pilots against in each other intense 15 vs. 15 matches, where supremacy of the skies is dictated not only by the prowess behind the trigger, but also in teamwork and tactical cooperation. With planes from the United States, the Soviet Union, Germany and Japan, players will be able to jump into the cockpits of some of the most iconic war birds to ever grace the skies.

The open beta phase of World of Warplanes will also see the introduction of a number of new features, including in-game tactical tips to help pilots learn the ropes of aerial combat, the implementation of crews and crew skills, access to consumables and premium ammo, a brand-new tutorial, as well as two new in-game maps.

Most excitingly, at one of its stages the open beta will also see the official launch of Wargaming’s recently announced Unified Premium Account. This new type of premium account will allow players to carry over their premium account status across Wargaming’s titles. During the open beta, pilots will receive special in-game tokens which can be redeemed for Unified Premium Account status.

PlayStation 4 Console Revealed at Sony E3 Briefing

SONY finally unveiled the actual PlayStation 4 game console at its E3 2013 press briefing in Los Angeles. The console will retail for $399, a hundred dollars cheaper than Microsoft’s Xbox One, and will launch this holiday season.

Mad Max Game Announced with Trailer

Interactive Entertainment today announced Mad Max, a new open world, third-person action game where players become Mad Max, a lone warrior in a savage post-apocalyptic world where cars are the key to survival. The game will debut for PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, Xbox One® the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, the Xbox 360® games and entertainment system from Microsoft and Windows® PC.

Scheduled for release in 2014, Mad Max will deliver dynamic, open-world gameplay where gamers fight to stay alive in The Wasteland, using brutal on-ground and vehicular combat against vicious gangs of bandits.
