DmC Devil May Cry Gets Bloody Palace Mode

Capcom has announced that the Bloody Palace Mode will be returning in DmC Devil May Cry. Bloody Palace Mode will be available, at no charge, shortly after launch for all PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC users. As in previous installments of the series, Bloody Palace Mode will be playable upon completion of the main game and deliver over 100 levels of demons and enemies, including five brutal bosses. Gamers will have the opportunity to top the global leader boards and be Bloody Palace’s number one demon slayer as stylish combat will be recognized. DmC Devil May Cry launches on January 15, 2013 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with the PC version coming on January 25.

GameStick Plans to Include More Memory as Kickstarter Stretch Goals are Revealed

London & San Francisco; January 9th, 2013; As the GameStick campaign continues to gather support, the team behind Kickstarter´s next success story today announced new stretch goals if they manage to hit higher targets. GameStick raised the initial funding goal of $100,000 in just 30 hours.

“We have been inundated with messages of support and suggestions on how to improve GameStick fromboth the gamers & developers worldwidewho backed our project. Being at the pre-production phase, we have been able to incorporate a lot of these ideas into our roadmap. We were not prepared for that level of input but it has been fantastic.” Said Anthony Johnson, CMO, Playjam.

If the campaign reaches $320k, a goal that, following trend analysts Kicktraq, the team will soon hit, GameStick will be made available in both black and white.

Pushing this further the team have also promised that if the campaign moves past $450k the GameStick will then also be available in an additional colour, chosen by vote on GameStick’s facebookpage:www.facebook.com/GameStickNews

“People have asked about ways we can further personalise GameStick and giving people a choice of colour is a great way of achieving this” Said Johnson.

While GameStick provides free cloud storage for games, one of the most popular requests from the Kickstarter community has been for additional memory options so that more content can be carried when on the move. The team have responded with an additional stretch goal of $560K, which will enable the inclusion of a MicroSD slot to facilitate this.

In order to allow existing backers to increase their pledgesand for new backers to have a wider range of options when pledging, an additional tier has been addedwith more in the works.

For $89, an additional $10 for those who have already pledged for the standard GameStick bundle, backers will now also receive a carry case to make transportation of the ‘World´s most portable Games Console’ even more convenient.

MLB 2K13 Announced Along with PGC Competition

New York, NY – January 9, 2013 – 2K Sports today announced that the Company has reached an agreement with Major League Baseball, the Major League Baseball Players Association, and Major League Baseball Advanced Media to release Major League Baseball® 2K13, the next iteration of the popular MLB 2K franchise. MLB 2K13 will be available on March 5, 2013, for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system.

“We’d like to thank our league partners for their support in helping us reach an agreement to bring back MLB 2K,” said Jason Argent, vice president of marketing for 2K Sports. “We know fans are extremely passionate about theMLB 2K series and the Perfect Game Challenge.”

David Price, ace pitcher for the Tampa Bay Rays, has been selected as the cover athlete for MLB 2K13. Price was recently named the American League Cy Young Award winner after posting a 20-5 record and league-best 2.56 ERA. Price edged out MLB 2K12 cover athlete Justin Verlander for the honors, and is the third consecutive reigning Cy Young Award winner to grace the cover of an MLB 2K game.
