LONDON, UK (July 2nd, 2020) – SQUARE ENIX® today presented new information and gameplay footage from OUTRIDERS™, the highly anticipated upcoming RPG-Shooter from People Can Fly, the developers of Gears of War: Judgment and BULLETSTORM, and Square Enix External Studios, the minds behind SLEEPING DOGS® and JUST CAUSE®.

The “Journey and Structure” feature presents an in-depth look at the campaign, side-quests, companions and travel system in OUTRIDERS, plus the video reveals several new environments and enemy types.

Larkspur, Calif. (July 2, 2020) – Codemasters® today confirms the breadth of exciting innovations and core existing features that players will experience with the imminent release of F1® 2020, the official videogame of the 2020 FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP™. With two new circuits, Hanoi Circuit and Circuit Zandvoort, the game caters to driver skills of all levels with My Team, improved on-track options, the reintroduction of split-screen, classic cars, and so much more. Launching into My Team, the new driver-manager feature, the trailer explores car customization, driver market and team facilities. Before taking to the grid, players need to make off-track decisions that will boost driver and staff motivation and in turn, generate funds to improve facilities, upgrade car parts and sign a new teammate.

The trailer also highlights the range of player choice on offer. From F2™ integration to shorter seasons, F1 2020 customization options allow players more control over the way they race. Struggle to master Monaco and Baku? Take advantage of shorter seasons with new 10 or 16 race options. For new players, the game introduces simplified menus and driving assists which are in addition to core F1 and F2 handling.

Following feedback from both drivers and players, F1 2020 includes several on-track improvements. ERS, as in real-life, is activated with a simple button press making the maneuver much more natural to execute. At the request of the F1 community, the game has introduced a virtual rear view mirror making it easier to identify opponents and fend off any potential attack from rivals.

Adding further levels of personalization, the all new Podium Pass allows players to race, earn and unlock. Each season will enable players to unlock free customization items by racing in their favorite game modes and earning XP. Custom cosmetic items include car liveries, race equipment such as gloves, overalls and helmets, and podium emotes. For next-level customization, players can purchase the VIP upgrade to gain access to higher-level rewards and additional in-game challenges. All players who pre-order F1 2020 will receive credit to unlock Season One VIP. Each season will contain enough currency to purchase the following VIP Podium Pass.

“In a little less than a week, our players will finally be able to experience all the innovations in F1 2020. This year we have created new features which cater to every type of race fan,” said Franchise Game Director at Codemasters, Lee Mather. “From My Team, which gives players a real insight into the world of Formula 1, to the more casual split-screen, F1 2020 is the ultimate virtual racing experience to accompany the revised 2020 F1 season.”

F1 2020 will release on Friday, July 10, 2020 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox One X, PC, and Google Stadia (MSRP $59.99). Players who purchase the F1 2020 Deluxe Michael Schumacher Edition (MSRP $69.99) will receive exclusive content and three days early access starting on July 7, 2020.

CONAN to Broadcast from Largo at the Coronet Theatre During Lockdown

LOS ANGELES – July 2, 2020 – Beginning on July 6, CONAN will start broadcasting from the historic Largo at the Coronet in West Hollywood. O’Brien will continue interviewing guests via Zoom, without an audience, and will only have a limited staff and crew on site, following government and industry health and safety protocols. The remainder of the show’s production staff will continue working from home.

“I got started doing improv at the Coronet in 1986 and I’m glad we’ve figured out a way to safely keep that theater going during this lockdown” said O’Brien.

“We are thrilled that Conan and his great team reached out and offered to help us through these awful times. We have a long history together and look forward to many more great years to come” said Mark Flanagan, Largo’s owner.

CONAN has been filming remotely since the end of March, broadcasting from O’Brien’s home with only an iPhone and a laptop. The show has been able to continue production all while keeping their entire staff and crew employed during the Pandemic.

In addition to moving the show to Largo, O’Brien’s Emmy® winning Team Coco will also be kicking off a digital version of their monthly live stand up show with the first happening on Thursday, July 9. Team Coco Live: Moses Storm & Friends will stream via Twitch and feature well known and up and coming comedians.

Team Coco has been putting on live events for years with traveling pop up comedy club Team Coco House and local LA showcase, Up & Up. The most recent Team Coco House was in February at NBA All Star Weekend in Chicago.

CONAN airs Monday-Thursday at 11 p.m. (ET/PT) on TBS. The show is produced by Conaco LLC, with Jeff Ross serving as Executive Producer.

Worms Rumble Announced

Wednesday, 1st July 2020 – Team17 has revealed the first details of Worms Rumble, the brand-new instalment in the iconic and multi-award-winning Worms franchise, which this year celebrates its 25th anniversary. Announced today for PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, and PC, and set for a late 2020 launch, Worms Rumble will be the first game in the series to feature real-time combat and multi-platform cross-play, with up to 32 players able to take part in matches in a range of arena maps, including a multi-levelled shopping mall – complete with its own ballistic missile silo.

Registration is now open for players to participate in a closed beta of Worms Rumble on Steam, which begins on Wednesday 15th July at 12pm BST and runs through to Monday 20th July at 8am BST. The beta gives players their first chance to take part in the next stage of the Worms real-time revolution.

Worms Rumble will be fully-supported by ongoing, content updates featuring new arenas and customisations. Players will be able to level up their Worm and progress through the ranks, earning new weapons skins and character customisations, accessories and emotes as they go. Today’s announcement reveals some of the weapons making their way into Worms Rumble at launch later this year, including the Baseball Bat, Hand Cannon, Bazooka, Assault Rifle, and Shotgun.

Worms Rumble features:

  • Worms goes real-time: Every round is in REAL TIME. When enemies rain down fire, unleash heck right back!
  • Up-to-32-player, cross-platform multiplayer: Play across PlayStation generations and PC, with Deathmatch and Last Worm Standing solo and squad battle royale modes available at launch
  • Classic Weapons/New Ways to Play: Arm Worms with new and returning fan-favourite weapons, including the Bazooka, Holy Hand Grenade, and Hand Cannon

June 30, 2020 – The latest expansion for GWENT revolves around Gaunter O’Dimm, a mysterious and powerful character best known from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Hearts of Stone expansion. Master Mirror introduces over 70 new cards, including 11 neutral cards and 6 unique, legendary faction cards that change their appearance and skills throughout battle.

A number of new offensive and defensive abilities are also waiting to be mastered. One of these is ‘Veil’, which allows players to shield an allied unit from negative statuses, or prevent an enemy unit from gaining beneficial ones. ‘Devotion’, in turn, enhances the skills of a card that has that keyword, but only if the player’s deck consists solely of faction-specific cards. To celebrate the release of Master Mirror, the ‘Gaunter’s Ultimate Challenge’ event has just begun.
