Square Enix has announced an new contest along with Double Helix Games where winners can win items ranging from Xbox LIVE Gold memberships all the way to a four-foot tall papercraft Wanzer from Front Mission Evolved. To enter, users must create their own papercraft Wanzer using downloadable template.

Focus Home Interactive has sent out some new screenshots from their upcoming Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga, some even featuring cool shots of dragons in flight. Divinity II is due out later this year on the Xbox 360 and Windows PC platforms and features the original Divinity II: Ego Draconis as well as the expansion and some additional, new content.

2K Games has released a few new screenshots from their upcoming shooter, BioShock Infinite, which feature another look at Elizabeth as well as some attack crows. BioShock Infinite is due out in 2012.

In this new trailer from Electronic Arts for their upcoming Rock Band 3, we get a look at the game’s Pro Guitar mode and Fender’s Rock Band 3 pro guitar hardware. This mode promises to be a very hardcore experience that will eventually help people learn to play music on real guitars.
Sony Online Entertainment has revealed that Circe will be joining the cast of villains in their upcoming MMO, DC Universe Online. Circe commanded sirens who lured men to their doom on the high seas. DCUO will be released in the first quarter of 2011 on the PlayStation 3 and Windows PC platforms.

SEGA and The Creative Assembly have released some new screenshots for their upcoming real-time strategy title, Shogun 2: Total War. Due out next year, exclusively on Windows PCs, Shogun 2: Total War promises better visuals and gameplay options over its predecessors.

Blizzard Entertainment has sent out a reminder announcement that their yearly gaming event, BlizzCon, begins this Friday in Anaheim, CA. The sold-out event will run for two days and feature several panels and presentations regarding the game companies IPs. Jay Mohr is returning as the MC and Tenacious D will be closing the event on Saturday evening.

The Fighter Collection and Digital Combat Simulations have announced that their upcoming DCS: A-10C Warthog is now available for pre-purchase at their official online store. The game currently has no official release date, but the developer has stated several times that they are shooting for a digital download date of later this year. The game retails for $59.99 and pre-order customers will also be granted access to upcoming beta tests.

Sony Online Entertainment has released the Director’s Cut of their DC Universe Online Cinematic Trailer. The trailer features many of your favorite DC characters and explains what exactly went down to cause this sudden influx of heroes and villains into the DC Universe. DC Universe online is due out on November 2nd, 2010 for both Windows PCs and the PlayStation 3.
