Nival, a Russian developer currently working on the upcoming cross-platform strategy title, PrimeWorld, has sent out the save the date cards for their E3 2011 after party. The party is set for the evening of June 8th, so we will make sure we keep you guys up-to-date with the goings on at the shindig as it unfolds.

Nintendo has sent out the official invite confirmations for their upcoming E3 2011 press briefing, which is set to take place on June 7th, 2011 at 9:00 am. The big news? A possible successor to the popular Nintendo Wii console. Other news? Most definitely new titles for the DS, 3DS, and Wii platforms.

Here are the official European packshots for THQ’s upcoming shooter, Red Faction: Armageddon. Armageddon is due out on June 7th and set after the events of Red Faction: Guerilla. The game features both single and multiplayer gameplay along with the Geo Mod 2.5 game engine.
This is a few days old by now but we wanted to post it as a reminder that those of you looking to purchase the sci-fi war flick, Battle: Los Angeles, on Blu-ray will be also be getting a game demo for the upcoming shooter, Resistance 3. The game demo will consist of about a half hour of gameplay and this also marks the first global release of a hybrid Blu-ray/PS3 game disc. The movie is due out on June 14th while the full version of Resistance 3 is due out in August.
UTV True Games has announced that its upcoming free-to-play MMO, Faxion Online, will be released on May 26th for the Windows PC platform. Faxion Online lets players assume the role of a warrior in the armies of Hell or Heaven in brutal PvP combat.

BRINK tells the story of the last remnants of humanity fighting over the last bit of habitable land on the panet: a floating megalopolis known as the Ark. BRINK features a dynamic mission objective system and hot-swappable classes as well as parkour-based movement mechanics. The game is scheduled for release tomorrow on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Windows PC platforms.

Activision has announced that customers who pre-order their upcoming third-person actioner, Transformers: Dark of the Moon. The game serves as a prologue to the upcoming film of the same name and is due out on June 14th on multiple platforms. Customers who pre-order the game at GameStop will receive a code redeemable for the Transformer known as Sideswipe. Amazon.com customers will receive a code allowing them to download the Transformer known as Ratchet.

Perfect World Entertainment has announced that they have acquired the rights to host the online game Rusty Hearts in North America and they will be debuting the game at next month’s Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles, CA. Rusty Hearts is an online, hack and slash dungeon crawler with cel-shaded animation and anime-inspired visuals. The game will allow players to fight through waves of evil vampires, monsters, and a lot more.
CCP Games has announced that its popular sci-fi MMO, EVE Online, has turned eight years old today. In honor of this birthday, CCP Games is giving players of the game a free item – A case of Quafe Zero! Quafe Zero promises to boost your Speed and Scan Resolution 5% for one hour with no side effects. In order to redeem your item, you hit the redeem item button in the EVE Online character selection client, then choose what character will receive the six-pack of the fictional soda pop.
EVE Online is currently giving gamers interested in the MMO a free, two-week trial.
Activision has sent us a very special Prototype 2 Mother’s Day card for your viewing pleasure. In it, a child’s mutating arm is reaching up towards a block-letter mobile. The ABCD blocks also read the message “All Badasses Consume Daily”. A good lesson for us all, I think!
Prototype 2 is due out in 2012 on the Xbox 360, Windows PC, and PlayStation 3 platforms.
