The Lord of the Rings Online Turns 10

BOSTON – April 24, 2017 – Standing Stone Games is celebrating the 10th anniversary of The Lord of the Rings Online™ (LOTRO) with a host of in-game items and events. During the Anniversary Festival, currently underway, all players will receive a set of in-game fireworks, as well as bonus exclusive gifts based on their account status. There’s also a number of limited-time in-game quests and events to experience in honor of the occasion.

April 21, 2017 – With the release of Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III just one week away, Relic Entertainment and SEGA Europe are pleased to release the Fragments of War trailer. On April 27, the planet Acheron will emerge from the warp, bringing with it the mysterious Spear of Khaine – the powerful weapon that sets Dawn of War III in motion, drawing three familiar faces ever closer to their intertwined fates.

Armored Warfare Update 0.19 Rolls Out

Thursday, April 20, 2017 — Developer and global publisher My.com are proud to announce that update 0.19 for Free-to-Play Tank MMO Armored Warfare – Tanks Reloaded is now available. The anticipated update and its main feature, Balance 2.0, mark the beginning of a new era for Armored Warfare. Balance 2.0 consists of many highly impactful gameplay and balance changes that represent the foundation for the game’s future development. 26 new vehicles are added for tank commanders to drive to the modern battlefields and wreak havoc in a new PvP map and brand-new PvE missions.

Tanks Reloaded will define the further steps for the game’s genre defining mode Global Operations, by adding the large scale and Caucasus-themed map “Barren Divide”. April 20, 2017 – Today we can share the official trailer and release date for the critically-acclaimed The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series – A New Frontier’s upcoming Episode 4: ‘Thicker Than Water’.

Knott’s and Komen Orange County Raise Over $108K Dollars For Breast Cancer Awareness

April 20, 2017 – Knott’s Berry Farm and Susan G. Komen Orange County have partnered for a fourth consecutive and successful year to raise more than $108,000 for breast cancer awareness and services for the local community during Knott’s for the Cure promotion in January. From January 9 to March 5, Knott’s and Susan G. Komen Orange County helped raise money through the purchase of “pink” tickets and select merchandise sold in the park. On April 18, 2017, Cherie Whyte, Director of Communications at Knott’s Berry Farm proudly presented a check of $108,867 to Susan G. Komen’s Board Member Dr. Jessica Rhee in the historic Ghost Town area.

Since 2013, the partnership with Komen Orange County has collectively raised close to $500,000 dollars for the organization. The proceeds raised during Knott’s for the Cure will help provide underserviced women and men in Orange County with access to breast health care and services. Knott’s Berry Farm and the Komen Orange County are committed to raising awareness and providing vital funds to the community in efforts to end the fight against breast cancer.
