Pick a spot and go viral digging with friends this December! Indie publisher rokaplay and indie developer Mipumi Games have just announced the release date of their upcoming game A Game About Digging A Hole Together at ID@Xbox IGN Showcase. The cooperative digging-adventure lets up to four players delve into the depths of their now improved garden.

Players will find out on December 4th, when the game releases on PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and XBOX on PC, as well as for PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. A Game About Digging A Hole Together will also be available on the XBOX Game Pass.

A Game About Digging A Hole Together retains the simple, addictive gameplay and gives players exactly what they want: MORE. More depth, more terrain, more tools, more secrets, more to discover, and above all, more players (though you’ll have to bring your own friends)! The core mechanics are easy to (re)learn: dig, sell, upgrade, and keep digging – but they’ve all been improved from the ground up. Over the past few months, Mipumi Games has rebuilt the game’s entire code, making it run more smoothly and reliably. The experienced Vienna-based studio has previously worked on titles such as Alan Wake 2, CONTROL, HITMAN, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

Crimson Desert Reveals New Charting the Unknown DLC

Pearl Abyss today released a new Features Overview video for Charting the Unknown, the upcoming downloadable content (DLC) for Crimson Desert Enhanced. The video showcases what awaits players in the DLC, including new stories, ocean voyages and underwater exploration, deeper relationships with certain characters across Pywel, business management and expanded housing.

In Charting the Unknown, the stories of the main characters, Kliff, Damiane and Oongka, continue as each sets out to forge their own path. Along the way, they will encounter allies and threats, both old and new, as they chart their own course forward.

Besides the character-focused stories, the Great Ocean of Pywel and storyline is available with the DLC. Players can unlock shipbuilding, gather resources to construct their own vessel, and customise it before setting sail across the Great Ocean to explore its distinct islands. There, players can defeat enemy forces, establish new strongholds alongside their Greymane comrades, and earn rewards for venturing beyond familiar shores. More secrets lie beneath the surface, where new underwater traversal methods let players dive below the waves to uncover sunken ruins, treasure and resources.

Charting the Unknown also brings new ways to build a life in Pywel. By earning the trust of certain characters, players can develop romantic relationships and eventually marry. Close companions may also drop by the Greymane Camp to spend some time together, bringing new life to the camp. On the customisation side, housing has been significantly expanded. Beyond interior decoration, players can design the structure of their residence from the ground up, including the placement of walls, windows and other structural elements. Additionally, once certain castles have been liberated, players can claim them and decorate their interiors, turning a hard-won stronghold into a place of their own.

And for players interested in management, they can lease facilities across Pywel, assign comrades and equipment, choose which goods to sell, and decide how best to run each business to grow its recognition and profits. For seasoned fighters seeking a greater test, Charting the Unknown introduces a new challenge in which players face a series of powerful bosses from across Pywel, one after another.

Crimson Desert Enhanced: Charting the Unknown launches on 29 October 2026 at 22:00 UTC | 23:00 CEST. Pre-orders are now available on PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Today, KOEI TECMO America and developer Gust in collaboration with TOHO Co, Ltd., announced The Apothecary Diaries: The False Imperial Brother will be releasing March 18, 2027. In the first-ever console game adaptation of the popular franchise The Apothecary Diaries, fans will meet new characters and have the chance to play as Jinshi and Maomao (Cat) as they delve deeper into the new exclusive story that awaits them. The Apothecary Diaries: The False Imperial Brother is currently in development for the Nintendo Switch™ 2, Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®5, and PC via Steam®.

In The Apothecary Diaries: The False Imperial Brother, players follow Maomao as they attempt to unravel the secrets of the Five Mysteries and solve the Five Curses. As the story unfolds, Maomao will encounter a familiar cast of characters alongside brand-new faces, conceived by series author Hyuganatsu, including Yanxi, a high-ranking official in the rear palace’s Bureau of Court Etiquette, known for her accurate fortune-telling skills; Guanyu, a travelling actor; and Chenhan, a regular patron of the Verdigris House, targeted by baseless accusations and unable to defend himself effectively. In addition, Maomao will interact with characters by fulfilling quests and delivering requested items, such as medicine, which will increase her trust with each character, unlocking special side stories for fans to enjoy and discover more about their favorite characters.

Whilst players will mainly play as Maomao, they will also be able to sometimes explore the rear palace as Jinshi and Maomao (Cat), allowing them to obtain information that is inaccessible to human Maomao. For example, by taking control of Jinshi, players can use his position within the rear palace to obtain statements from people who would not speak to Maomao, whilst Maomao (Cat) can reach high places to find clues, eavesdrop on conversations, and retrieve pieces of evidence.

As the story unfolds, players will also be able to play as the Quack Doctor, and Luomen whilst concocting medicines, thereby affecting the difficulty of the associated mini-games. Finally, if fans fulfill certain conditions in each chapter, they will unlock Completion Stamps which, once all have been unlocked, will reward them with special illustrations.

Everyone who purchases a physical or digital copy of the game before March 31, 2027 will receive the “Apothecary’s Starter Kit and Modest Accessory Pack” as an early purchase bonus. SimRacing Expo Frankfurt 2026 Sees Record Attendance

The 2026 SimRacing Expo saw a record attendance of 29,580 people over three days at Frankfurt Messe. 2027’s show promises to be the biggest yet, as it was announced to return to Frankfurt on the weekend of 17-18 September.

The SimRacing Expo is the world’s biggest consumer and trade show dedicated to virtual racing and flying, bringing together thousands of fans with the industry’s leading developers and hardware manufacturers. Spanning over 14,000 square meters of Frankfurt Messe, the Expo was supported with an array of cars from Aston Martin, BWT Alpine Formula One Team, the infamous Dacia Logan by Ollies Garage, a Nordschleife Fan Favorite, plus Manthey-Racing, Mercedes-AMG, National Car Museum by Loh Collection, Porsche and Porsche Motorsport.

On the Expo’s first-ever Premiere Friday, fans in attendance and watching online saw more new product reveals on-stage than ever before. 35,000+ viewers watched over the weekend on the SimRacing Expo YouTube channel to see reveals from the likes of Assetto Corsa, ImSim, Fanatec, Simucube and more.

Paradox Interactive and Abrakam today announced that Willpower, the next major expansion for their hit sci-fi grand strategy game Stellaris, will launch on PC on November 23. Focused on the evolution of Ethics into powerful ideologies, Willpower will expand the Stellaris experience with new game mechanics, content, and ways to play. The expansion is included in the Season 10 Expansion Pass, or can be pre-purchased separately today by players without the Pass for a suggested retail price of $24.99/£20.99/€24.99.

Ideological Diplomacy: Ideological power extends into diplomacy. Empires can adopt your doctrine, and Federation laws can establish an official belief for the alliance. The same struggle reaches the Galactic Community, where you can denounce rival doctrine. Espionage Operations can manipulate Ideological Reach, sow doubt, and incite revolt where your beliefs have already taken hold. If covert pressure fails, a new Casus Belli will allow you to impose your Ideology through war. It is still persuasion, only with more battleships.

- Golden Generation: Educate a cohort of promising students at the Golden Academy, then recruit them as the next generation of leaders.
- Lost Makers: A Machine Intelligence searches the stars for its creators, whose story is tied to one of the galaxy’s existing Precursors
- Great Mosaic: Begin with an additional Civic and no prescribed narrative path. Shape the empire you want from the very beginning.
And More: Willpower will also include new Civics, events, ideological Paragons and buildings, an inquisitor shipset and a city set, and a new advisor.
