DAVE THE DIVER In the Jungle DLC is Now Available

It’s time to trade the scuba gear for khakis. Dave is heading somewhere new! Mintrocket’s beloved hybrid adventure DAVE THE DIVER today launches its all-new ‘In the Jungle’ DLC, now available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch/Switch 2.

The ‘In the Jungle’ expansion sees Dave venture into all-new territory, as he embraces new freshwater responsibilities, meets the locals, helps familiar friends, and explores unfamiliar waters. Even Chef Bancho switches things up, trading in raw seafood dishes for grilled freshwater delicacies in the new restaurant, Bancho Grill.

To celebrate the launch, Mintrocket has released a full-length live-action short film based on the events of ‘In the Jungle.’ The film has been made in collaboration with The Asylum (creators of Sharknado, Meth Gator). View the full film below:

The ‘In the Jungle’ expansion launches with around 10 hours of new story and content, introducing surprising new encounters and mechanics that branch boldly away from the base game and previous DLCs.

“This expansion has been a long time in the making, and our team is excited to welcome our players back into the world, this time with a freshwater twist,” said Jaeho Hwang, Head of Studio and Game Director, Mintrocket. “The jungle gave us so much creative room to play with, and we can’t wait for players to discover everything we’ve hidden in there.”

Razer Unveils the Razer Soma Chroma Wireless RGB Gaming Chair

Razer™, the leading global lifestyle brand for gamers, today announced the Razer Soma Chroma, a wireless RGB gaming chair that brings reactive Razer Chroma™ RGB lighting together with all-day ergonomic comfort for gamers and streamers.

The first in Razer’s new line of immersive gaming chairs, the Soma Chroma is also Razer’s first RGB gaming chair, setting a new benchmark for gaming furniture and RGB-enhanced gaming setups. It transforms the chair from passive furniture into an active part of the gaming experience built for gamers who demand total immersion, synchronized RGB lighting, and a battlestation that moves as one.

“The battlestation has become a form of self-expression. But the chair, the one piece you live in every session, has not kept up. There are gaming chairs with lights, but lights alone don’t make a chair immersive,” said Addie Tan, Global Head of Lifestyle Division at Razer. “With Soma, the lighting reacts to what’s happening on screen in real time. That’s not decoration, that’s participation. Combine that with ergonomic support built for marathon sessions, and wireless freedom that keeps your setup clean, and you have a chair that is truly part of your battlestation.”

Chroma™ RGB That Reacts in Real Time

At the heart of the Soma Chroma is Razer Chroma™ RGB Reactive Game Lighting that responds in real time to the action on screen across more than 300 integrated games, turning the chair into a living extension of the battlestation to enhance immersion and visual engagement. Through Razer Synapse, the lighting can be tuned across 16.8 million colors and 10 presets to match any setup or mood.

Built to Outlast Every Session

Built for marathon gaming sessions, the Soma Chroma pairs a Built-In Ergonomic Lumbar Arch with Dual-Density Cold-Cured Foam Seat Cushion for support that holds from the first hour to the last. The contoured lumbar curve gently cradles the lower back and encourages a neutral posture to ease fatigue, while the firm-yet-plush backrest and seat-base cushions are tuned to relieve pressure points over long periods. When it is time to shift gears, the backrest reclines up to 155°, moving smoothly from an upright, competition-ready position to a full lean-back between matches.

One Cable. Zero Clutter.

Designed to keep the battlestation clean, the Soma Chroma draws power over a single USB Type-C connection from either a wall outlet or a standard power bank, cutting cable clutter without tethering the chair to the desk.

A Built-In Control Panel keeps everything within reach, switching between lighting effects, brightness levels, and PC (via a 2.4 GHz USB dongle) or mobile (via Bluetooth on the Razer Furniture App) connections at the touch of a button.

Built to Stay Planted

Underpinning it all is a reinforced steel frame and a 5-star steel wheelbase, giving the Soma Chroma the durability and balance to stay planted through years of daily play, anchoring the battlestation rather than simply sitting beside it.

The Throne for Every Battlestation

  • Reactive Game Lighting powered by Razer Chroma™ RGB – light up every play with custom effects for 300+ integrated games, with 16.8 million colors, and 10 lighting presets to set the mood in Razer Synapse.
  • Built-In Ergonomic Lumbar Arch – supports healthy posture through long sessions, gently cradling the lower back and encouraging a neutral position to reduce fatigue over long periods.
  • Dual-Density Cold-Cured Foam Seat Cushion – tuned for optimal pressure distribution, balancing firm support and plush comfort to relieve pressure during prolonged sitting.
  • Versatile USB Type-C Connection – powers the chair with zero cable clutter, drawing from a wall outlet or standard power bank for a clean, wireless aesthetic.
  • Built-In Control Panel – keeps everything within reach for quick, seamless adjustments — cycle through effects, tweak brightness, and switch between PC (2.4 GHz) and mobile (Bluetooth) at the touch of a button.
  • Premium Steel Frame Construction – a reinforced steel frame and 5-star steel wheelbase ensure exceptional durability and stability for years of reliable performance.
  • Up to 155° Recline – suits all sitting positions, whether sitting up for competitive play or leaning back to watch a movie.

True Integration. RGB Immersion. With reactive Chroma RGB, all-day ergonomic support, and clean wireless power brought together in one seat, the Razer Soma Chroma RGB gaming chair is built for gamers who want their chair to be part of the experience, not just the setup.

The Drifter – Accolades Trailer – Out Now on Switch!

God Save Birmingham – Dev Update 3 Trailer

Kakao Games and Ocean Drive Studio have released the third God Save Birmingham Developer Update video, which highlights many of the new features players will be able to experience during the upcoming Closed Beta Test that begins on 22 June.

Watch God Save Birmingham Dev Update 3 video below:

This new Developer Update video shows the many additions and improvements made to God Save Birmingham’s combat since February’s Closed Alpha Test. Attack animations are quicker, controls are more responsive, and enemies are a little more durable, leading to a more dynamic and challenging combat experience. Additionally, spears, one-handed swords and halberds have been added to the game — with more medieval melee tools planned for the future — and players can now shout at zombies to lure them in their direction for a fight.

A significant amount of survival-related content has been added to the game, too. Chickens are now available as livestock and will provide eggs at regular intervals, while fruits and vegetables can now be picked from garden plots or the nearby forest. Drinking water can be collected from the river flowing through town, however the poor quality can lead to an upset stomach. Various historically accurate medieval beverages have also been added to God Save Birmingham, such as ale. While alcohol can quench the player character’s thirst and reduce their mental stress, excessive consumption can result in intoxication, making survival more difficult.

Huge changes have been made to the weather system, with conditions heavily impacting a player’s chance of survival. For example, fog impairs the vision of zombies, aiding players looking to remain hidden, while colder temperatures that come with rain can negatively affect a player’s health. To warm up, players can light an indoor fire, but they must exercise caution: flames can now spread to wooden objects, and players can get burned if they get too close.

All this, plus numerous other additions, such as an improved Journal system to onboard new players, advancements to in-game physics, and an enhanced sleep system, are all detailed in the Dev Update 3 video.

“While the team would love to include and showcase more features in the game, we believe that making things well is more important than making a lot,” said production director Soonook Shin. “Therefore we intend to focus on creating a great game by continuously developing, testing and refining content.”

Players can register their interest in the God Save Birmingham Closed Beta Test, which begins on 22 June and ends on 29 June, by following the steps outlined on the game’s Steam page.

Besiege: The Broken Beyond Launch Trailer

Spiderling Studios today launched The Broken Beyond, the largest and most ambitious expansion so far for its physics-building game Besiege. Available now on Steam, The Broken Beyond takes the series’ trademark catastrophe off-world for the first time, challenging players to build volatile rocketships, launch them into orbit, and wreak devastation across an entire star system.

Where the base game tasked players with constructing medieval war machines to topple castles and crush armies, The Broken Beyond asks a far more dangerous question: what happens when you bolt machines to rocket boosters and aim them at the stars? The answer, predictably, is carnage in a physics playground.

Mastering (and Surviving) Space Flight
At the heart of the expansion is a full simulation that pushes Besiege’s physics into mind-bending new territory. Every large object in a level – planets, moons, and sizable asteroids – generates its own gravitational field, letting players jump between asteroids, establish orbits, and slingshot around celestial bodies. Misjudge it, and you can shove a moon clean out of orbit or send rocks careening into one another in a chain reaction of debris.

Planets are wrapped in atmospheres that bring aerodynamics into play. Wings and balloons generate lift, propellers find purchase, and grid fins and parachutes can slow a screaming atmospheric re-entry.

In true Besiege form, space flight is easy to start but challenging to master. Slap a few blocks together and you have a (badly) functioning rocket that somehow flies. Over time, learn to engineer complex vessels capable of clean takeoff, stable orbit, and controlled re-entry.

13 New Space Blocks and A Dynamic Fuel System
The Broken Beyond introduces 13 new blocks designed specifically for spaceflight, including the Blaster, a heavy weapon that fires superheated bursts of fuel. As well as the Booster for rocket propulsion, Control Thrusters and Inertial Steering for attitude control, plus Rocket Fins, Grid Fins and Parachutes for aerodynamic stability.

The expansion also brings resource management to Besiege for the very first time via a new fuel system. Players must balance fuel reserves against their machine’s mass – carrying enough to feed their boosters and weapons, while staying light enough to actually leave the ground. New Fuel Barrels, Hoses, Couplers, and an automation-ready Fuel Gauge give engineers the tools to craft everything from basic rockets to advanced multi-stage launch systems.

An 11-level Campaign Spanning A Fractured Star System
The Broken Beyond features a brand-new 11-level campaign that carries players from familiar ground to the far reaches of space. It opens with a blast-off from Ipsilion – the original island where Besiege began – before escalating into ever more outlandish set-pieces: laying siege to a fortress perched atop a drifting asteroid, racing through canyons on a tiny desert planet, and battling against swarms of alien spacecraft.

The campaign’s centrepiece is exactly the kind of spectacle Besiege fans live for: the chance to destroy an entire planet by hurling an iron moon into it.

An Interplanetary Sandbox and A Multiplayer Level Editor for Space Carnage
Beyond the campaign, The Broken Beyond adds a vast new cosmic sandbox of planets, moons and structures to destroy.

The expansion also extends Besiege’s powerful level editor into space, with planets, enemies, gravitational fields, and more to build with – all playable in Besiege’s multiplayer environment alongside friends.

“The Broken Beyond is Besiege’s largest expansion to date, with loads of new blocks, levels, and physics mechanics to play around with!” says Toby Hawkins, producer for the project. “Space felt like the next logical environment to explore following The Splintered Sea expansion, and we’re nerds, so we had a lot of fun with the new physics possibilities,” he continues. “Some people may question the logic behind a medieval space program, but those people have clearly never played Besiege…”. “Our community is crazy creative, and we can’t wait to see what epic machines they’ll make with all this new content!”

Availability
Besiege: The Broken Beyond is available now on Steam (PC, macOS, and Linux), priced at $8.99 USD. It requires the base game, Besiege, which has earned an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating from more than 47,000 Steam reviews. A Midweek Deal is running on Steam alongside the release of the base game at a 90% discount.

Aspiring inventors new to Besiege can purchase the Spacefarer Edition bundle for both the base game and expansion. The Mad Engineer Edition bundle will also be available for fans eager to support Spiderling Studios, featuring a master album of the game’s OST and an in-game animated cube skin in addition to the base game and both expansions. Keep up with Spiderling Studios and all things Besiege on X, YouTube, Twitch, and Discord.

Motorcycle Sim LANESPLIT Gets VR Update Today

Today’s VR Games Showcase unveils the VR update for LANESPLIT, the traffic-weaving motorcycle racing simulator developed by solo developer FunkyMouse. Feel the thrill of high speeds on PC via Steam VR alongside a massive free content update to the base game featuring new bikes, additional weather options, and a new cast of real-world riders as playable characters.

Helmet on, visor down — feel the speed in true first-person fashion. Get behind the handlebars of 16 high-performance motorcycles, including two new electric bikes with their own distinct sense of speed, handling, and traction. Steer clear of close calls without crashing to jet to the top of global leaderboards, and mind the weather as newly added Thunderstorms can turn dry roads into suddenly-slick asphalt.

Dodge responsible drivers shifting lanes while the drum-and-bass soundtrack intensifies alongside rising speedometers. Collisions cause the soundtrack to screech to a halt while sending riders flying off their bikes with full ragdoll physics.

Burn rubber solo or in multiplayer as a fully customizable rider, or pick one of the new playable characters added to the roster, modeled after IRL motorcycle enthusiasts like Brian636, CyborgAngel, and GhostRider. Put their reflexes to the test in Rush Hour mode, or find peace alone on blissfully empty roads in Zen Mode.

“Motorcycle POV videos from Brian636, CyborgAngel, and GhostRider were a huge inspiration for this content update,” said Shakya Ranatunga, founder and solo developer at FunkyMouse. “While the first-person camera angle already lends itself to flow-state gameplay, VR takes the riding experience to another level.”

LANESPLIT is now available in VR alongside a free content update on PC via Steam, as revealed in today’s VR Games Showcase. For more information, follow developer FunkyMouse on Twitter/X and check out the official YouTube page.
