Scarlet Moon is pleased to present the Stories of Fallout: Miami (Original Game Soundtrack) and Songs of Miami Wave Radio. Combined, they total nearly 100 tracks in what is one of the biggest soundtracks for a community-made mod to date. The Stories of Fallout: Miami Original Game Soundtrack features 80 tracks covering a diverse collection of ambient and combat compositions crafted by a team of composers from all around the globe. Gaining inspiration from the music of Mark Morgan and Inon Zur while subtly introducing newer, reimagined elements of surf rock and synth music of the 1980s so often associated with Florida, they have created unique orchestral and electronic soundscapes to help immerse you in the vibrant world of Miami.

Stories of Fallout: Miami – Miami Wave Radio contains a collection of charming and catchy tunes often heard on the waves of the Vacation Wasteland’s most popular radio station – Miami Wave Radio! The album presents a rich array of genres ranging from crooner, orchestra-accompanied jazz ballads to fiery, sun baked surf rock sensations guaranteed to get those hips moving. Soulful and powerful singing voices, catchy melodies and vibrantly-played instruments are heard throughout:

“We’ve been working on this project for about four years now,” reflects Music Lead Sergey Neiss. “Early iterations of the soundtrack were written even before the final vision of the project was established, and the scope has changed over time. Featured composers come from all over the world and with different musical backgrounds, working tirelessly over the course of the pandemic. The unique setting of the mod offered us many opportunities to elaborate on the base game’s score and to include original timbral touches where appropriate to reflect certain unmistakable cultural and musical characteristics of Miami and the Sunshine state. Another striking feature of the original game’s aesthetic is the grotesque use of often happy-sounding old-timey popular songs in a post-apocalyptic setting of burnt-out wastelands. Songs of Miami Wave Radio features diverse-sounding tunes referencing the tropes of a variety of genres: classy traditional pop of the 1940s, big band, swing, flirty pop of the 1960s, surf rock, calypso, blues, and jazz, to name a few. I could talk about our influences and sources of inspiration for a while, but words won’t describe what the sounds of music can, so it’s best you dive right into the soundtrack!”

Fallout: Miami is an upcoming DLC-sized mod for Fallout 4 with an original setting, complete with its own engrossing main quest, interesting side quests and characters, including new companions. Once a popular tourist destination, the Vacation Wasteland of Miami now plays host to an eclectic assortment of factions and societies. The once-great slaver kingdom of Sunshine Cove has recently come under threat by a horde of automobile-worshipping nomads calling themselves the Nuclear Patriots. While Miami’s various factions vie for control over the Vacation Wasteland, a long-forgotten remnant of the old world slumbers beneath the waves, waiting for an opportunity to reclaim America once again.
