September 27, 2017 – Shrouded in mystery, Father Theodore has remained an enigma…until now. Along with Stefano, Theodore is one of the human “monsters” who have made their way into the new STEM world in The Evil Within 2, and he’s finally ready to reveal his message to the masses – a message that promises a “righteous” fury and immolation to those who oppose him. Sebastian will need to survive the wrath of this master manipulator if he’s going to have any hope of finding Lily and escaping the nightmare of STEM.

Theodore has his own reasons for being in STEM that are separate from Mobius’ goals, which he sees as misguided. Though what he’s actually after only becomes apparent as Sebastian becomes more entangled in his world. Like Stefano, Theodore isn’t alone in STEM, although unlike Stefano – who commands the gruesome and terrifying Guardian and Obscura – Theodore’s main helpers aren’t creatures he created. Referred to as Harbingers, they are normal people whose minds Theodore has bent to his will. These Harbingers wield flamethrowers and seem to exist solely to carry out Theodore’s fiery will, burning any who would stand in the way of his pursuits. Any detail about his past pushes into HUGE SPOILER territory. In other words, you’ll have to play the game in order to unlock the secrets he hides. 2K Unveils WWE 2K18 Season Pass Details

New York, NY – September 27, 2017 – 2K today announced details surrounding the Season Pass and downloadable content offerings for WWE® 2K18, the forthcoming release in the flagship WWE video game franchise. Batman: The Enemy Within Episode Two Trailer

September 26, 2017 – Today we are excited to share the official trailer for episode two of Batman: The Enemy Within, a new five-part episodic game series that continues Telltale’s unique take on the Caped Crusader. You can download the trailer by following the links above.

The death of a villain at the hands of a mysterious assassin was just the beginning. As explosions rock Gotham, Batman races to meet a new foe, but encounters a force that may cause even the Dark Knight to fall. In the guise of the billionaire, Bruce meets John Doe’s ‘friends’ and becomes enmeshed in a plot where the only way out is to go deeper in. But at what cost?

Episode two, ‘The Pact,’ launches October 3 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Mac. In addition, both episodes one *and* two will become available on iOS and Android-based devices that same day. Going forward, new episodes will launch the same day on all platforms.

A special ‘Season Pass Disc’ for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will also be available at retailers starting October 3 in North America and October 6 in Europe. The disc includes the first episode of the season, as well as download access to all subsequent episodes as they are released.

This new season will be accessible to both returning fans and newcomers alike, though players’ choices from the first season of Batman: The Telltale Series will optionally carry over into The Enemy Within. This season will also include Telltale’s unique multiplayer ‘Crowd Play’ feature, which allows friends and family to engage with the adventure together by helping to decide the direction of the story from any mobile device with an online connection.

Rendered to look like a living, breathing comic book, Telltale’s vision of Batman features an award-winning cast of talent including Troy Baker, who returns to reprise his role as Bruce Wayne, as well as Anthony Ingruber, who will reprise his fresh take on ‘John Doe,’ better known to fans as The Joker.

Batman: The Enemy Within will be a standalone product separate from the first season of Batman: The Telltale Series and is licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and based on DC’s iconic character. Episode two, ‘The Pact,’ has been rated ‘Mature’ by the ESRB.

2017 Screamfest Horror Film Festival Official Schedule Announced

Along with the myriad of horror films at the festival, Screamfest will also host several special screenings.

On October 13, as a tribute to the late Tobe Hooper, Screamfest will show The Funhouse, a film that follows four teenage friends who spend the night in a carnival funhouse and are stalked by a deformed man in a Frankenstein mask.
In honor of the upcoming 30^thAnniversary of the release of Child’s Play, Screamfest will present a special screening of the film on October 14. It will be followed by a Q&A with director Tom Holland to be moderated by Sean Decker and Jack Ulrich. Child’s Play follows a single mother who gives her son a much sought after doll for his birthday, only to discover that it is possessed by the soul of a serial killer.

More Ataribox Details Released

NEW YORK, NY (SEPTEMBER 26, 2017) – Atari®, one of the world’s most recognized publishers and producers of interactive entertainment, today released new information about Ataribox, a product that brings gaming and more to the living room. The launch also signals a return by Atari to creating its own hardware in a broad eco-system of accessories and content. Since we announced Ataribox three months ago, we have received more than 90,000 registrations on Ataribox.com.

Ataribox has a unique modern design, influenced by iconic Atari products such as the Atari 2600. Technology wise, it is powered by an AMD customized processor with Radeon Graphics technology. Ataribox will offer games and more: bringing a full PC experience to the TV, it will also include streaming, applications, social, browsing, and music.

Ataribox will run a Linux OS, with a user interface customized for the TV. Ataribox will launch with a large back-catalog of Atari classic games, and current titles from a range of studios. Additional details on content and partnerships will be released at a later date. Given the open nature of the OS, players will also be able to access and play compatible games from other content platforms.

“With Ataribox, we wanted to create an open system, a killer product where people can game, stream and browse with as much freedom as possible. Ataribox will first be made available via the Indiegogo crowdfunding platform this fall, with targeted global launch in Spring 2018. The expected price range will be $249-$299 USD depending on specific editions and memory configurations.

Since its initial announcement last month, CCP’s expanded first-person spaceship shooter has impressed fans and critics alike, with PCGamesN stating, “EVE: Valkyrie’s Warzone expansion turns it into Overwatch in space.”
