Stygian: Outer Gods Early Access Content Trailer

Fulqrum Publishing and Misterial Games are delighted to bring you news from the void – as they have consulted with the Old Ones to bring you an all-new trailer for Stygian: Outer Gods, offering a sneak glimpse into the content coming to the game as it progresses through its Early Access period.

Before the game’s final 1.0 release, Fulqrum Publishing and Misterial Games plan to deliver (among other updates), two new locations – the otherworldly House of Mists with its surrounding area and the mysterious Brasko family Mansion along with its estate. Both of these locales will be brought to life with new intriguing characters and deadly enemies, as well as challenging puzzles and quests.

These new locations will accompany a whole host of other additions to the game, including new characters and monsters, new quests, and new artifacts, items, and weapons – including the much-requested Tommy gun.

And that’s as well as a series of more technical updates, which will improve optimization, game balancing, localize it into new languages and add more voice-over talent!

But that still isn’t all. In addition to all the above improvements, which are currently in development for Early Access updates, the game’s full release will expand even further, with a host of new content that will, among other things, challenge players by introducing new boss fights, as well as even more locations, characters, monsters, crafting recipes and more!

Cross-Platform King? Putting the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3X Wireless to the Test

Okay, I’ve spent a good amount of time with the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3X Wireless, and I’m ready to share my thoughts on how it stacks up in the crowded world of gaming headsets.

From the moment I unboxed it, the Arctis Nova 3X Wireless felt familiar in a good way, carrying that signature SteelSeries design language that prioritizes function and a certain understated style over flashy gamer aesthetics. It’s incredibly light, tipping the scales at just around 260 grams. This, combined with a super well-designed headband, made for a remarkably comfortable experience, even during marathon gaming sessions that stretched for hours. The elastic band does a fantastic job of distributing what little weight there is, making the headset feel almost like it’s floating on my head. The fabric ear cushions were a welcome touch, breathable and soft, which I personally prefer over pleather that can get a bit warm and sticky after a while. I found the clamping force to be pretty secure without being overly tight, though I did notice that the headset seems to fit smaller to medium-sized heads best; I had to extend the earcups nearly all the way for a comfortable fit, so those with larger heads might want to try it on first if possible.

Setting it up was a breeze. The USB-C dongle is slim and L-shaped, which is a thoughtful design choice as it didn’t block any adjacent ports on my Xbox or PC. This “X” version is specifically geared for Xbox wireless connectivity, but it also seamlessly connected to my PC, Nintendo Switch and phone (via Bluetooth 5.3). The “Quick-Switch” feature, allowing me to tap the power button to flip between the 2.4GHz gaming connection and Bluetooth, was genuinely useful for taking a quick call on my phone without yanking the headset off. However, it’s important to note that you can’t listen to both audio sources simultaneously; it’s one or the other.

Now, let’s talk audio. The Arctis Nova 3X generally delivered a crisp and clear sound profile. SteelSeries tends to favor a flat EQ response, which I appreciate for competitive gaming as it makes subtle cues like enemy footsteps or distant reloads easier to pick out. In games like Hitman 3, I felt I had a good sense of positional audio, with dialogue and environmental sounds coming through with clarity. The mobile app offers a ton of game-specific presets, which can be handy for quickly tuning the audio for titles like Call of Duty or Fortnite to emphasize those crucial sounds. While some might find the sheer number of presets a bit overwhelming or perhaps more marketing than practical, I did find a few that genuinely enhanced my experience. However, my audio experience wasn’t entirely flawless. While most sounds were clear, I did encounter some instances, particularly at higher volumes, where the audio seemed to exhibit a bit of distortion. That may have something to do with the amount of bass this headset is capable of. It’s a hearty bass that can muddle things at times. However this point needs be tempered with the fact that you can customize the EQ on the headset (or use a premade EQ setting) which will balance things out. The EQ on the Arctis Nova 3x Wireless is incredible. It provides what they call a “parametric EQ”. This means that instead of raising or lowering the gain on specific frequencies, it is adjusted by means of parabolic arcs. This allows for a much more forgiving sound curve and, by way of those parabolas, blends frequency changes together in a much more natural manner. If you use the SteelSeries Sonar app on your PC, you can get an even greater customization by creating those parametric EQ profiles yourself!

The passive noise isolation is about what you’d expect from over-ear cups without active noise cancellation – it did a decent job of muffling high-frequency sounds like keyboard clicks, but lower rumbles and distinct voices still came through. The ClearCast Gen 2.X detachable microphone performed adequately for in-game chat. My teammates reported that my voice came through clearly, and the AI noise-cancelling, especially when using the Sonar software suite on PC, did a respectable job of filtering out some background noise. The mic seems to prioritize that clarity over a rich, full-bodied vocal tone, which is fine for gaming comms but might not be the first choice for someone looking to do serious streaming or voiceover work without some tweaking in the software.

Battery life is a definite strong suit here. SteelSeries claims up to 40 hours, and in my testing, it lived up to that, especially when using Bluetooth. Even on the 2.4GHz connection, I was getting well over 30 hours, which is more than enough for several long gaming sessions. The rapid charging is also a lifesaver; a quick 15-minute charge really can give you around 9 hours of playtime, which saved me on more than one occasion when I forgot to plug it in. This battery implementation is commendable and increases the positive user experience while wearing this headset.

The on-ear controls are mostly located on the left earcup and include a mic mute button, a volume wheel, and the power button. They are generally well-placed and easy to use, though I occasionally found myself fumbling a bit when trying to adjust the volume wheel with one hand, as it’s quite close to the power button. A minor quibble, but worth noting. I also found the plastic around the microphone port didn’t align perfectly with the connector, a small aesthetic detail that didn’t impact performance but caught my eye.

Overall, the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3X Wireless is a versatile and comfortable headset packed with features that cater well to the multi-platform gamer. The insanely-long battery life, quick charging, and lightweight design are major wins. The audio is generally clear and good for gaming, and the dual wireless connectivity is a huge convenience. However, the need to select correct EQ presets would give me pause if I was looking for a “grab and go” headset solution. Despite this, the headset is a solid contender in its price range (retailing at $109.99), especially if you own an Xbox and other devices.

Overall Rating: 4 out of 5

Pros:

  • Extremely lightweight and comfortable for long gaming sessions.
  • Excellent dual wireless (2.4GHz + Bluetooth) with easy switching and broad multi-platform compatibility.
  • Impressive battery life (up to 40 hours) with very effective fast charging.

Cons:

  • Potential for audio distortion at higher volume if EQ is not set properly.
  • Microphone features and deeper EQ customization are reliant on PC-based Sonar software.

Galactic Civilizations IV Version 3.0 Now Available

Stardock Entertainment has released the v3.0 Hyperlane Update of its space strategy title, Galactic Civilizations IV. The update introduces major new features such as Hyperlanes, Fleet Supply, a new Map Generation System, updated AI and hundreds of changes based on player feedback over the past year.

“We’ve been pouring through fan feedback for over a year on how to make GalCiv even better,” said Brad Wardell, CEO of Stardock Entertainment. “We’ve tried to address everything, and then some, of what players wanted like more strategic options, more interesting map generation options, better AI, better late game performance, user interface improvements and a lot more.”

Some of the major updates in the Galactic Civilizations IV Hyperlane Update include:
  • Hyperlanes. While Galactic Civilizations has free-form map movement of units, Hyperlanes provide direct lines between distant stars, allowing for very fast travel between disconnected sections of a sector.
  • New Map Generation. The map generation system of the game has been remade and now includes new options when setting up a game.
  • Fleet supply.  To allow for more strategic options during war time, civilizations have a Fleet Supply cap that is increased by technologies and planet improvements to make different starship designs more distinct.
  • Adaptive AI. At higher difficulty levels, AI can adapt their difficulty if they are losing to ensure a more challenging game.  Moreover, at all difficulty levels, the AI has been significantly improved.
  • Major UI improvements. Dozens of updates, big and small, have been made to the game’s user interface to streamline player interaction.
  • Performance overhaul. Maps have been made bigger, and more stars in a map are supported, following a year-long effort to optimize the game engine’s performance. This should be particularly noticeable on lower-end hardware.
  • Balance wishlists implemented.  Stardock painstakingly reviewed posts on its forums, Steam, Reddit, third-party forums, etc. on balance suggestions, wishlists, etc. and implemented them after careful review.
  • Visual Updates. The engine received a significant update to intelligently anti-alias ship components with each other on a ship to make starships visually look better on screen.
  • Better Steam Workshop integration. Players can design and share their ships online. Version 3.0 is more responsive, requires fewer steps and generates higher quality screenshots for modders.
  • DLC updates. All of the released expansions and DLC for Galactic Civilizations have received updates over the past year to provide additional content and features for those who have them.
The award-winning Galactic Civilizations series is the oldest actively developed space strategy game series starting with its first beta release in 1993 for IBM’s OS/2 operating system.

Pizza Bandit, the upcoming third-person co-op shooter that can be described as a mix of Gears of War meets Overcooked, is set to launch on Steam in Early Access on August 25, 2025. As part of the PC Gaming Show, Jofsoft has released a brand-new trailer that offers a slice of the game’s chaotic gameplay, and an official demo is now available on Steam that includes 3 new bounty missions.

Watch Pizza Bandit Early Access Announcement Trailer Here:

Set in a future where time travel is real, Pizza Bandit follows Malik, an ex-mercenary finally chasing his childhood dream: opening a pizza restaurant. Though he was built for battle, not baking, he’s determined to make it work. With nothing but an empty venue and no money, Malik takes on high-risk bounty missions through time to fund his dream.

Battling through shifting eras and fending off relentless time reapers, Malik picks up more than just scars. Each mission helps him grow as a cook—unlocking rare ingredients, discovering new pizza recipes, and learning skills that inch him closer to opening day. Survive the chaos, master the kitchen, and turn a broken dream into the best pizza joint around.

A Slice of Gameplay Features:

  • Cooking Meets CombatPizza Bandit merges intense third-person shooting with real-time cooking mechanics, where players must prepare a variety of dishes—like sushi, steak, grilled chicken, and more—mid-battle to survive and succeed.
  • Pizzeria Management: Between missions, players can upgrade and personalize their restaurant, crafting pizzas that grant gameplay-enhancing buffs. Players’ cooking EXP and restaurant prestige will unlock new pizza recipes and buffs to help survive missions.
  • Bounty Contracts: Players can engage in special contract missions featuring layered objectives and bonus rewards. Completing these contracts unlocks new weapons, equipment, and further missions, enhancing their gameplay progression.
  • Weapon Customization: Players gather and combine upgrade components to modify their weapons, enabling personalized playstyles and strategic versatility.
  • 1–4 Player Online Co-Op: The game supports dynamic squad-based play with scaling difficulty and active friendly fire, forcing tight coordination and teamwork.

“Pizza Bandit isn’t just another co-op shooter—it’s a chaotic blend of intense combat and ridiculous charm,” said Aron Koh, executive producer at Jofsoft. “We wanted to create a game where dodging bullets and grilling steak go hand in hand, where the stakes are high, but the humor stays sharp. It’s a wild, unpredictable ride that doesn’t take itself too seriously—until the action kicks in. That contrast is what makes it so fun!”

Two Point Museum Free Summer Update Out Now

Two Point Museum players can look forward to a wealth of free content coming to the museum management sim this summer, starting with today’s MIA Exhibits & Items Update.

The star attraction for those exploring MIA Exhibits & Items Update is, of course, the addition of the MIA Memorial Exhibits themselves, giving you and your guests a personalised way to pay tribute to beloved museum staff members who have gone missing in action. Whether your staff members have disappeared on their quest across the globe for new exhibits or simply fallen foul of your complete disregard for County employment laws, you’ll receive a memorial item to acknowledge their contribution to your museum.

From a humble plaque to a gigantic statue, these MIA Memorial Exhibits are engraved with your staff member’s name, years of service and where they went MIA. Guests can admire these items as they would traditional exhibits, so depending on your levels of creativity and care you can create anything from a touching memorial garden to truly honour their memory… or shove the memorial exhibits in an unused corner.

As for the expeditions, MIA Exhibits & Items Update will also dive under the hood and tweak the randomisation engines powering them. This change means you’ll now see each exhibit across a set number of expeditions, ensuring you won’t have to repeat the same expeditions over and over again to complete your collection. This will be trialled on eight Points of Interest such as Cold Mines and Downtown Wetlantis and if curators enjoy the changes, these tweaks will be rolled out across further POIs.

This update will also introduce Gift Shop and Cafeteria poster wall items, six new staff traits, increased staff XP, the workshop ability to create multiples of cargo items and a wealth of smaller tweaks ranging from thieves carrying a bag on their back after stealing goods to a new footprint visualisation when placing items with queues, along with various bug fixes and optimisations.

MIA Exhibits & Items Update is now live for Two Point Museum on Steam and will follow on further platforms in the week ahead.

Free Summer Content & Arctic Finale Level

That’s not all that’s happening for Two Point Museum players, with the free Summer Update following soon after MIA Exhibits & Items Update goes live. This sizzling hot content drop will temporarily see a new Point of Interest, Sunkiss Creek, added to the Bone Belt. This will bring new three fish exhibits: Setsail Fish, Lolliflopper Fish and Cunning Skink. Alongside that, museum curators can play with new decorative items, ice cream kiosk, information stand, wallpapers, floors and even a new staff costume… everything a museum curator needs to keep cool in the summer heat! But hurry because when summer is over, this content will melt away.

Then we’ll be bringing the temperature down at the end of June with the free addition of The Final Museum, the Arctic-themed finale set in the Pointy Mountains. This will be the ultimate test of your Two Point Museum skills, as you deal with new challenges such as reduced guest intake and quests only arriving via plane. You need to work with the local yeti population to create your strongest museum masterpiece to date and to solve the mystery of the missing curator, the mysterious figure whose disappearance has intrigued many.

Two Point Museum will be opening its doors to new players this month when it launches on Epic Game Store and for those who want to see where the journey began, Epic Game Store will also have a free week for Two Point Hospital, beginning tomorrow on June 12th and running until June 19th. The summer of fun for Two Point will draw to a close with the announcement of the first DLC for Two Point Museum, so stay tuned for more information on that soon!

Head over to www.twopointstudios.com and follow Two Point Museum on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and Twitter for more details.
