February 14, 2018 – Get closer to the nightmare than ever before in The Evil Within 2. If the horrific world and hideous creatures weren’t terrifying enough already, the entirety of the game can now be played in first-person on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, thanks to the latest free update. You can check out our newly released first-person mode trailer at.
If you already have The Evil Within 2, changing to first-person is as simple as flipping a switch in the menu. You’ll be able to change this at any point, so you can experience the game however you like. If you haven’t had a chance to check out The Evil Within 2 and want to try it out, you can download the Free Trial and play through the opening chapters of the game including the new first-person mode. All save data will carry over if you choose to upgrade to the full game.
“A lot of players like playing horror games in first-person, so for those who want to see some of the game’s situations through Sebastian’s eyes, it’s a really neat experience,” said Tango Gameworks’ producer, Shinsaku Ohara. “I think exploring Union in first-person makes the scale feel even bigger than it does when you’re in third-person. Also, being able to see our environments and enemies up close allows players to get an even better look at how much effort went into their designs.”
Be sure to check out Bethesda.net for even more details and insights on the new first-person mode from the team at Tango Gameworks!
The Evil Within 2 has been rated M for Mature by the ESRB. For more information about the game, visit www.TheEvilWithin.com.
SKÖVDE, Sweden – Feb. 14, 2018 – Deep Rock Galactic enforcers Coffee Stain Publishing and Ghost Ship Games are calling on all dwarves across the globe to join the Deep Rock initiative in its widest recruitment drive yet! Starting on February 28, 2018, any hardy dwarf with a taste for adventure and a proficiency in firearms can join their most ambitious mining operation to date when Deep Rock Galactic lands on Steam Early Access and Xbox Game Preview.
Watch the trailer for Deep Rock Galactic here:
Enlisted dwarves will be paired with up to three like-minded brethren and sent on missions to the most hostile planet ever discovered, Hoxxes IV, to mine precious gems and metals. Cooperation is essential to your success and, as an interplanetary mining conglomerate, Deep Rock Galactic depends on its employees to take care of each other.
Players take up arms as one of four classes of badass dwarven miners, each with their own invaluable set of skills and gear. The Driller, the Engineer, the Scout and the Gunner must work together to survive a relentless onslaught of ravenous aliens and escape the procedurally generated caves with their bounty intact.
“With Deep Rock Galactic, we wanted to create a true co-op experience where teamwork really matters. We’re mixing the traditional co-op shooter with all the goodness of huge procedural levels, lots of exploration and mining and all the personality of fantasy dwarves – but in a sci-fi setting,” says Mikkel Martin Pedersen, Game Director/Co-Founder of Ghost Ship Games.
Deep Rock Galactic first began recruiting brave space mining dwarves when it entered Closed Alpha on Steam in December 2016. Since then, more than ten thousand test-subjects have played the ever-improving Closed-Alpha builds and delivered invaluable feedback to the team. By popular demand, the team have thus far added upgrades, drones, vanity items, a mini-boss, biomes and refrained from fixing the broken barrel physics!
“Moving into Early Access and Game Preview, we’re really excited to keep developing the game with the help of our awesome community. At launch, 7 unique regions of Planet Hoxxes will be ready to explore, mine and get lost in, but really this is just the beginning and Hoxxes has only just begun giving up her secrets. We have SO many more ideas and can’t wait to start implementing them all,” said Søren Lundgaard, CEO/Co-Founder of Ghost Ship Games.

TAJUNGA, CA – Independent developer Fourattic and the helpful townsfolk from Devolver Digital have launched Crossing Souls on PlayStation 4 and PC. The meticulously-crafted pixel art homage to 80s adventures is available now with 20 percent off its $14.99 price [http://crossingsoulsthegame.com/].
Crossing Souls is an action-adventure set in a California suburb in the midst of a supernatural event that rocks the small community as grand forces siege the town. Control five characters: Chris, Matt, Charlie, Big Joe and Kevin, each one with their own skills and combat styles. Change characters on the fly and use each character’s specialties to overcome any obstacle and target your foes weaknesses. Fight in real-time, solve clever puzzles, face off against powerful bosses and play special levels inspired by 80s arcade videogames.
“If we could afford iconic 80s spokespeople like Michael J. Fox, Alf, and the actor that played Chunk from the Goonies, I’m sure they would tell you that Crossing Souls is an incredible game that you should buy right now,” noted Devolver Digital CFO Fork Parker. “But alas we cannot, and therefore they have not said anything of the sort and are likely unaware of the game at all.”
Crossing Souls is available now on PlayStation 4 and PC for whatever 80 percent of $14.99 comes out to – you do the math, nerd. Just buy it and stop being so cheap.
