Star Trek Discovery Season 2 First-Look Trailer

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – July 20, 2018 – Today at Comic-Con International, “Star Trek” fans were provided a sneak peek at the highly anticipated season two premiere episode of STAR TREK: DISCOVERY during the series’ Hall H panel with cast and executive producers. The second season is slated to return to CBS All Access in early 2019.

STAR TREK: DISCOVERY co-creator and executive producer Alex Kurtzman, who directed the season two premiere, also announced at today’s panel the plan for STAR TREK: SHORT TREKS. The four SHORT TREKS episodes will roll out monthly beginning this fall, and will be stand-alone stories, each running approximately 10-15 minutes. Each short will be an opportunity for deeper storytelling and exploration of key characters and themes which fit into STAR TREK: DISCOVERY and the expanding “Star Trek” universe.

Rainn Wilson will return to play Harry Mudd in a short he will also direct, and Aldis Hodge will star in another as Craft, a man who finds himself the only human on board a deserted ship. Additional episodes include a deep dive into Saru’s (Doug Jones) backstory as the first Kelpien to join Starfleet, and Tilly’s (Mary Wiseman) journey aboard the U.S.S. Discovery and her friendship with an unlikely partner.

“There is no shortage of compelling stories to tell in the ‘Star Trek’ universe that inspire, entertain, and either challenge our preconceived ideas or affirm long held beliefs, and we are excited to broaden the universe already with SHORT TREKS,” said Kurtzman. “Each episode will deliver closed-ended stories while revealing clues about what’s to come on in future STAR TREK: DISCOVERY episodes. They’ll also introduce audiences to new characters who may inhabit the larger world of ‘Star Trek.’”

The STAR TREK: DISCOVERY panel, moderated by season two guest star Tig Notaro (Chief Engineer Reno), featured a conversation with cast members, including Sonequa Martin-Green (Commander Michael Burnham), Doug Jones (Commander Saru), Shazad Latif (Lt. Ash Tyler), Mary Wiseman (Ensign Sylvia Tilly), Anthony Rapp (Lt. Commander Paul Stamets), Wilson Cruz (Dr. Hugh Culber), Mary Chieffo (L’Rell) and Anson Mount (Captain Christopher Pike). They were joined by executive producers Alex Kurtzman and Heather Kadin.

July 19, 2018 – At the Doctor Who panel at Comic-Con International: San Diego today, BBC AMERICA revealed the first teaser footage for the brand new season, featuring Jodie Whittaker along with co-stars Bradley Walsh, Mandip Gill and Tosin Cole.

Offering a taste of what’s in store for viewers this fall, the trailer sees the Doctor and her new friends, Ryan Sinclair (Cole), Yasmin Khan (Gill) and Graham O’Brien (Walsh), traveling through space and time.

Marvel Battle Lines First Trailer

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – July 19 – Today at Comic-Con International: San Diego, Nexon, and Marvel Entertainment debuted the first gameplay trailer for MARVEL Battle Lines, a new strategic card battle game featuring hundreds of iconic Marvel Super Heroes and Super Villains. MARVEL Battle Lines will be released in 2018 as a free-to-download experience on the App Store® for iPhone and iPad and on Google Play for Android devices.

A player’s deck in MARVEL Battle Lines is made up of 12 cards from a roster of hundreds of iconic Marvel Super Heroes and Super Villains as well as powerful abilities that can be used in a match. The goal of a match is to strategically place cards in consecutive order on the 3×4 grid that makes up the field of play to create powerful battle lines and combinations that will damage their opponent’s health meter. Players will begin each turn with four cards in their hand and have the ability to swap their cards, play an action card or end their turn by either placing a character card in the field of play or moving a card already deployed to an adjacent tile to attack an opponent’s card. The first player to bring their opponent’s health meter to zero using combinations of battle lines with their deck of characters – three across, three adjacent, four down, an L-shape, etc. – will win the match.

In MARVEL Battle Lines, players collect and build the ultimate deck of Super Heroes and Super Villains to take into battle across an expansive single-player campaign with an original story written by Marvel writer Alex Irvine and a real-time turn-based competitive player vs. player (PvP) mode. MARVEL Battle Lines’ intuitive gameplay allows players to battle in single player and be competitive in PvP from the beginning. Collecting cards from each battle in the single player or PvP modes, players can build diverse decks of powerful Super Heroes and Super Villains, mastering their strategies to take on greater challenges and compete with the best in PvP. In addition to a campaign with an original story from Marvel writer Alex Irvine, an array of single-player activities will revisit beloved Marvel storylines and events and continue to challenge and reward players.

The Walking Dead: The Final Season Second Trailer

SAN RAFAEL, Calif., July 18th, 2018 — Leading publisher of digital entertainment Telltale Games and Robert Kirkman’s Skybound Entertainment today launched the second trailer for The Walking Dead: The Final Season, providing a new glimpse of the upcoming season premiere. July 19, 2018 – From Left Bank Pictures and Sony Pictures Television comes the highly anticipated YouTube Original series ​ORIGIN​, an all new intergalactic space thriller starring ​Tom Felton [​Harry Potter film franchise, ​Rise of the Planet of the Apes​] and ​Natalia Tena [​Harry Potter film franchise, Game of Thrones​]. The teaser trailer was revealed today at a panel at Comic-Con International: San Diego attended by series creators and stars and moderated by BuzzFeed’s Marcus Jones.

The 10-episode series, from director Paul W.S. Anderson and the producers of ​The Crown ​and Outlander, ​follows a group of outsiders who find themselves abandoned on a ship bound for a distant land. Now they must work together for survival, but quickly realize that one of them is far from who they claim to be.

The cast features an international roster of talent including Sen Mitsuji, Nora Arnezeder, Fraser James, Philipp Christopher, Nina Wadia, Madalyn Horcher, Siobahn Cullen, Adelayo Adedayo and Wil Coban.

ORIGIN is created, written, and executive produced by Mika Watkins. Star Wars: The Clone Wars Revived for Disney Streaming Service

July 19, 2018 – Continue, The Clone Wars will. Some extremely exciting news landed at The Clone Wars anniversary panel at San Diego Comic-Con International today where fans were the first to learn that the beloved Clone Wars animated series, which ran for six seasons between 2008 and 2013, will be returning with twelve all-new episodes on Disney’s direct-to-consumer streaming service.
The news was met by ecstatic cheers and raised lightsabers that reverberated throughout the entire pop culture event.

Since its debut, The Clone Wars has become one of the most critically-acclaimed entries in the Star Wars saga, earning multiple Emmy awards and praise from fans of all ages around the globe. Since 2013, an effort to resurrect the series (#SaveTheCloneWars) was launched by fans, resulting in tens of thousands of emails/letters sent to Disney and Lucasfilm.

Dave Filoni, who helmed the show as Supervising Director during its original run, resumes his role on The Clone Wars continuation, which he can’t wait to share with fans. “I honestly didn’t think we would ever have the opportunity to return to The Clone Wars,” says Filoni. “Thanks to the relentless fan support and the team behind Disney’s direct-to-consumer streaming service, we will now get to tell more of those stories. We feel a tremendous responsibility to make something that lives up to the legacy that George Lucas created with the original series and I think our team, many of whom worked on the show from the beginning, has risen to the challenge.”

The new Clone Wars episodes will continue the storylines introduced in the original series, which explored the events leading up to Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. The series will see the return of classic characters Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi as well as fan-favorites Ahsoka Tano and Captain Rex. The new episodes will debut on Disney’s direct-to-consumer streaming service.

Truck Driver developer Triangle Studios is delighted with the excited reactions that have been received so far. To showcase some of these updates, a set of brand new screenshots have been released to illustrate Truck Driver’s day and night cycle for the very first time, and more will be revealed soon.

Now, the game is ready to be tested by a select group of independent gamers in closed beta. The feedback received during the closed beta will prove to be very helpful in shaping the next stage of the development process.
