Channel37 has launched Update 01: Last Humans for hit sci-fi survival-crafting game The Last Caretaker. The first of a series of Early Access roadmap updates includes new story quests, surface and underwater locations, a new vehicle, night vision goggles and a raft of performance and stability enhancements. Update 01: Last Humans arrives in time for the Steam Winter Sale, where The Last Caretaker returns to launch pricing, with a 15% discount.
Delivering on its development roadmap, Channel37’s first update for The Last Caretaker includes three new questlines for intrepid Caretakers: “Secret of Habitat Nodes”, “One Before Me”, and “Secret of Warehouse,” unlocking new locations and stories from the flooded world.
The update delivers a boatload of new additions, including a basketball mini-game, a drivable forklift, night vision goggles, and a horn with a customisable chromatic scale and speaker system for the musically-minded Caretaker. In addition, performance improvements across physics systems, rendering, and UI have been implemented after direct feedback from the growing community.
Update 01: Last Humans is the first of many updates planned for The Last Caretaker. The next update, Ocean: The Final Frontier, launches in early 2026 and features a Jetski, storms and lightning rods, a fishing and salvage update, along with boat customization. Check out the road map image to see the full schedule of updates.
The Last Caretaker is a thoughtful take on the survival-crafting genre featuring a modular crafting system and resource-based combat with unrivalled depth. Key features include:
Dynamic Resource Management: Your resources are your means of survival. Make choices between crafting weapons for offense or saving your materials for an easy exit from fearsome mechanical foes.
Immersive Worldbuilding: A real, living world. This isn’t decoration, it’s a place that exists. A vast ocean scattered with silent docks, rusting towers, navigation beacons, and forgotten vaults. Every structure has a purpose, every ruin tells a story of what was left behind.
Modular Crafting System: The world is your salvage yard. Dismantle abandoned structures, tear down machinery, and decide what is worth carrying to the recycler to craft weapons, power grids, and tools in a dynamic and deep crafting system.
Save Humanity: The Last Caretaker builds upon four years of hand-crafted systems to deliver a world where every action has purpose. Every success means humanity has one more chance.
Since its reveal in May, Quarantine Zone: The Last Check has spread like wildfire, recently surpassing more than 1.3 million wishlists on Steam after drawing nearly 2 million players into its demo.
In Quarantine Zone: The Last Check, you must take on the role of a government agent stationed at a critical checkpoint in the midst of a zombie apocalypse. Your job? Screen survivors, manage scarce resources and make impossible moral decisions that determine who gets in — and who doesn’t.
Between juggling food, fuel and defense systems, you’ll also face the human side of survival: trust, desperation and the haunting consequences of every call you make.
Quarantine Zone: The Last Check’s launch release will boast a whole host of infectious new features not present in the demo, including:
The new portable X-ray, which scans a person’s internal organs for signs of infection… or checks whether a survivor is hiding contraband where the sun don’t shine
A new metiascope helps inspect people’s eyes for signs of the virus (or you can test for healthy reflexes with the new medical reflex hammer)
Use the laboratory to examine survivors with unknown symptoms and discover dangerous new signs of the virus
A feeding cage for zombies to dispose of corpses. This isn’t just for the fun of it: the government will pay handsomely for them
A new base management interface offers a bird’s eye perspective for overseeing and managing all resources from a single interface (no more carts)
Relentless zombies will fall into your base from the rooftops; be ready to shoot them down
Many other improvements are also implemented to refine the challenge of base defense and overall gameplay
If you found out we weren’t alone, if someone showed you, proved it to you, would that frighten you? This summer, the truth belongs to seven billion people.

Buckle up – the next content update for Wreckfest 2 is rolling in, and it’s all about fresh rides, dirty racing, and new ways to smash your way to the top. THQ Nordic and Bugbear are bringing more chaos to the track with new content, new modes, and a solid round of improvements that make every impact count.
The update introduces two brand-new cars straight out of the 90s. Players can jump into a front-wheel-drive Asian coupe “Phaser”, built for tight racing and aggressive driving, or take the wheel of a front-wheel-drive US family van “Grandstar” that was never meant to race, but fits Wreckfest’s brand of destruction perfectly.
On the racing side, the new track, Moorfeld, joins the calendar, set on an open field with a muddy surface that completely changes how cars behave. Grip is limited, slides are wider, and races feel more unpredictable from start to finish. As the laps tick by, cars don’t just take damage – they also get visibly covered in mud, adding another layer of visual mayhem and immersion to every event.
Moorfeld offers two ways to play: the Race Route and the Crash Route. While the Race Route feels closer to the circuit-style tracks players are used to, the Crash Route is where things truly go off the rails. Featuring three intersections, it actively pulls cars together again and again. And as every Wreckfest fan knows, intersections multiply chaos exponentially – and three of them result in an absolutely ridiculous amount of carnage.
Factional turmoil and the hunger to bend the City to one’s doctrine take center stage in Fractured Utopias, the first DLC for Frostpunk 2 – out now for both PC and consoles. Expanding the sandbox-focused Utopia Builder mode, Fractured Utopias deepens its political struggle for the future with over 100 new narrative events and tons of unique unlocks. As the elders say: “In the Frostland, no utopia warms every soul.” Dreams and schemes don’t rise from nowhere – they’re forged in conflict.
The Fractured Utopias DLC brings more structure and expanded scope to the Utopia Builder experience. Each faction now has a defined ideological Utopia – represented by a skill-tree powered by affinities. As players gain trust, they unlock specialized laws, buildings, and abilities that reinforce each faction’s identity. Unlock every tier, and a singular vision may be enacted – binding the entire city to one future, and promising to resolve all Tension… permanently.
Each faction in Frostpunk 2 envisions a future, but every vision meets resistance. The old-world Overseers uphold order through industry, clashing with the provocative art and drug-fueled rebellion of the Bohemians. The Icebloods demand survival through strength, while the Technocrats advocate for cold, algorithmic efficiency. The adaptive Proteans reshape body and purpose, as the Legionnaires march in disciplined unison. The extravagant Ventures profit off chaos, while the collectivist Manders bear their burdens – together.
But whose dream will shape tomorrow – and whose will fracture under the frost?
Fractured Utopias key new features:
8 unique faction Utopias, each with new systems, tools, and endgame
12 unique unlocks (laws / new HUBs / Abilities, etc.) per faction
8 new faction hubs (1 per faction)
8 new faction-specific variants of the housing district

Step into a decaying world and discover an entirely new region to survive in ‘Fellhollow’, the first major update for the hit survival adventure RuneScape: Dragonwilds, available to download today.
Introducing new quests, enemies, a huge new boss encounter, and a hauntingly beautiful realm balanced between life and death, Fellhollow is a major free content update that expands the world of RuneScape: Dragonwilds like never before.
Guided by Death, who arrives in Fellhollow as a new questgiver and guide, venture into a surreal new region adorned with mist-laden valleys, dead forests, withered flora and haunted ruins. Overrun with corruption and decay from the Wither Rot, Fellhollow forces players to adapt the way they play with new rot-afflicted enemies, environmental hazards, and the risk – or opportunity – of being blighted with a signature new status effect: Soul Rift.
As exposure to Wither Rot builds, Soul Rift transforms exploration, combat and survival. Craft armour types and fend off the rot with new consumables from Fellhollow’s new materials and expanded progression layers. Or delicately (and dangerously) balance your exposure to access two powerful effects: Rift Sight, a rewarding gaze that reveals hidden paths, spectral doors, and secrets hidden from the living; and Imaru’s Gaze, a deathly stare that lures the attention of the region’s new apex predator: Imaru, The Soul Eater.
Once a guardian dragon of Fellhollow, Imaru has been twisted by grief into a soul-devouring horror. As Death seeks a hero to break her curse, discover the continuation of the Kuldra Saga storyline in an epic new multi-phase boss encounter against this corrupted guardian dragon.
Also arriving with today’s expansion into Fellhollow, the Farming Skill makes its debut in RuneScape: Dragonwilds.
