Today, Paradox Interactive announced Astral Planes, a new narrative-focused expansion for its sci-fi strategy game Stellaris, coming later this year on PC. Not For Broadcast, the chaotic propaganda simulator from developer NotGames and publisher tinyBuild, plans for a special airing of its brand new “Bits of Your Life” DLC on PlayStation 4|5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2023.

Bits of Your Life is the nation’s favourite talk show, where viewers get to learn more about the guests through interviews with their friends, family and co-workers. It’s a tried and tested format… but isn’t it all getting a little stale? It’s time to throw the script out the window, bring out the guests in whatever order feels “right” to you and prepare for unhinged revelations, explosive outbursts and at least a full minute of uncontrollable on-air crying.

The chaos isn’t just about ratings though – It’s a chance for the nation to finally learn more about Peter Clement, the future Prime Minister they have all come to love. Run heart-to-heart interviews with Clement’s close friends and family to understand more about his past as an adored former TV celebrity. Veteran videogame developer Blue Isle Studios has announced the release of its revamped 10th anniversary classic horror game. Slender: The Arrival is now available on PC, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S – just in time for Halloween. Every shadow, every material and every hair-raising encounter with the mysterious Slender Man is now rendered in the stunning detail only possible with Unreal Engine 5.

This anniversary update comes with a brand new chapter donned “Nightmare” that follows Charlie Matheson’s father as he descends deeper into madness. Slender: The Arrival features a complete visual overhaul and option to swap between the original version and new update on Steam by switching branches on the Steam client. Multiple new languages are supported, with redesigned pickups, readables, and subtitles for English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese and Portuguese.

The battle begins! After almost two years in Early Access, turn-based, platoon-level tactical game The Troop launches today. Developed by Giant Flame and published by PLA Studios, The Troop was born from a lifelong passion for World War II history and turn-based games is now available on PC via Steam.

The Troop is rolling out of its Early Access period with a new arsenal of features, including three new campaigns for players to experience – following the adventures of the 21st Panzer Division, the SS Panzer Division and the 31st Tank Brigade.

Today, entertainment company Cream Productions and Les Stroud Productions Inc. announce that their immersive VR survival game Survivorman VR: The Descent is now available on Meta Quest 2 and 3.

Based on the highly popular TV show Survivorman which ran for 14 years, Survivorman VR: The Descent is an authentic survival simulator that teaches players how to brave the perils of wilderness survival in an Arctic setting. Along with its Meta Quest launch, Cream and LSPInc are excited to announce their new partnership with games distributor VRKiwi to co-publish Survivorman VR: The Descent on PCVR and PlayStation VR2 in early 2024.

Today, Disney+ revealed the trailer and key art for season two of the Disney+ Original series “The Santa Clauses.” The brand-new trailer previews the continuing story of Scott Calvin (Tim Allen) and his family as they return to the North Pole for more adventures when the season premieres with two episodes on Wednesday, November 8, followed by new episodes weekly.

In addition to Allen, who will executive produce and reprise the beloved role of Santa/Scott Calvin, season two stars Elizabeth Mitchell as Mrs. Claus/Carol, Austin Kane as Cal Calvin Claus, Elizabeth Allen-Dick as Sandra Calvin Claus, Devin Bright as Noel, Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias as Kris Kringle and Eric Stonestreet as Magnus Antas, The Mad Santa.

To celebrate this announcement, Gamious has revealed a closer look at the story players will unravel in Season’s Greetings.

Make this a December to remember! Lake: Season’s Greetings takes place during 1985’s holiday season, one year before the original Lake game. Players take on the role of Thomas Weiss, an amiable mail carrier and father to Lake’s protagonist, Meredith Weiss. Changing the perspective from Meredith to her father, players will gain an understanding of the Weiss family dynamics and an insight into a snow-covered Providence Oaks from a long-time resident’s point of view. Not only will players learn more about the familiar faces they have grown to love from the main story, but Season’s Greetings introduces five completely new characters to the town of Providence Oaks, each with their very own storylines. The DLC will also provide more background to some unanswered questions that were teased in Lake.
