The Guerrilla Collective Video Game Event Airing June 6-8

May 11, 2020 — A worldwide coalition of leading independent game companies and partners have announced the Guerrilla Collective, a group of publishers and developers dedicated to bringing the experience of exciting news and reveals home to viewers globally.

The three-day celebration kicks off on June 6th, in collaboration with some of the world’s coolest publishers, developers, and media, with a full day dedicated to gaming news and announcements: the premiere Guerrilla Collective, The PC Gaming Show and the Future Games Show.

The June 6th lineup is today announced as a packed day of the latest news for every platform. At 10:00 am PT, the world’s first Guerrilla Collective Live will air, hosted by Kinda Funny’s Greg Miller. The PC Gaming Show returns triumphant starting at 12:00 pm Pacific Time with all the latest news and information about the PC gaming space. The Future Games Show presents reveals, developer interviews, and wholesome gaming chatter starting at 2:30 pm Pacific Time.

Also part of IGNs ‘Summer of Gaming’ and GameSpot’s ‘Play For All,’ the Guerrilla Collective is a truly agnostic, completely player focused initiative to bring gamers and developers together to celebrate games during a difficult time.

The Guerrilla Collective is produced by Media Indie Exchange (The MIX) in partnership with the Kinda Funny Games Showcase. The MIX is an indie-focused group that runs events every year at conventions like GDC, E3, gamescom, PAX West and more. Kinda Funny is a five-year-old, San Francisco-based podcast and YouTube company celebrating and critiquing video games to an audience of hundreds of thousands of fans. In 2018, the company launched the Kinda Funny Games Showcase, a video event spotlighting more than 60 great titles.

What: A coalition of amazing video game studios and publishers who have come together to establish a brand-new online press conference and event showcasing exclusive news, reveals, trailers, gameplay demos, and more from some of the top teams around the world. Sid Meier’s Civilization VI – New Frontier Pass Announcement

New York, NY – May 11, 2020 – 2K today announced the Sid Meier’s Civilization® VI – New Frontier Pass, a new season pass that brings eight new civilizations, nine new leaders, six new game modes and more to the critically-acclaimed strategy game.* Content will be released in six downloadable (DLC) packs delivered on a bimonthly basis starting May 21, 2020 through March 2021.

Each individual DLC pack will also be available for individual purchase; the first DLC offering, the Maya & Gran Colombia Pack, will add leaders from each respective civilization, a new Apocalypse game mode, new City-States, Resources and Natural Wonders, and will launch on May 21, 2020.

Anyone who purchases the Civilization VI – New Frontier Pass will receive exclusive bonuses – the Teddy Roosevelt and Catherine De Medici Persona Packs. ‘Just Beyond’ Horror Comedy Series Ordered for Disney+

BURBANK, Calif. (May 7, 2020) – Disney+ has ordered the 8-episode series “Just Beyond” from writer Seth Grahame-Smith and produced by 20th Century Fox Television. The horror/comedy anthology, based on the best-selling BOOM! Studios graphic novel series from iconic children’s writer R.L. Stine (“Goosebumps”), was created by Grahame-Smith, who has a history of moving between horror and comedy as author of the bestselling novels “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies” and “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter,” and screenwriter of Tim Burton’s “Dark Shadows,” “The Lego Batman Movie” and “The Saint” for director Dexter Fletcher and star Chris Pine.

“I grew up watching “Twilight Zone” reruns and the original “Amazing Stories” with my parents,” said Seth Grahame-Smith. “I’ve always wanted to make a genre anthology series that families could enjoy together, and do it in a way that delivered for kids and adults alike. R.L. Stine has been a part of millions of childhoods, and Disney+ has already proven itself as a place that knows how to make high-quality shows for the whole family. I couldn’t be more excited to be working with both of them.”

“Back in the day, we had a Goosebumps HorrorLand attraction at Walt Disney World,” said author R.L. Stine. “It was one of the thrills of my life. Now I’m thrilled to be back with Disney for the TV series based on my graphic novels. Writing “Just Beyond” for BOOM! A writers room is being assembled and the series is expected to come to Disney+ in the fall of 2021.

May 8, 2020 – Paradox Interactive and Hardsuit Labs have revealed that Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will be heading to Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. The reveal came with a new Bloodlines 2 trailer showing the Kindreds’ macabre dance between the living and the dead.

Bloodlines 2 on Xbox Series X will feature Smart Delivery – players who purchase the game for Xbox One will receive a copy of the game optimized for Xbox Series X at no additional cost. In addition, cross-generation character and progress saves between the two console versions will also be available.

We’ll share additional details about what Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 support means for Bloodlines 2 at a later date.
