WitcherCon Official Schedule Revealed

Today, Netflix and CD Projekt Red released the show schedule for their upcoming global virtual fan event WitcherCon, the first ever multi-format event dedicated to The Witcher universe.

The full lineup includes a number of interactive panels, each of which also holds a host of exclusive surprises from The Witcher live action series and forthcoming anime feature, which fans won’t want to miss!

The event, hosted by Julia Hardy, will also be studded with special short-form content, giving never-before-seen insights to the production and creative processes behind the Witcher universe.

The Witcher Season 2: Deck of Destiny

Available on both Twitch and YouTube, WitcherCon will first air on July 9th at 7:00 PM CEST. Fans will be able to watch WitcherCon across two separate streams, with each one containing exclusive content. The second stream, which also airs on Twitch and YouTube, will begin at 03:00 AM CEST on July 10th.

Following its release on Oculus, Sam & Max: This Time It’s Virtual! will launch later this year for SteamVR and Viveport Infinity, and then PlayStationVR (PSVR) in early 2022.

It has also been confirmed that Steve Purcell, the creator of Sam & Max, who is consulting on the game design, art, and story, will – for the first time in the series’ history – play one of the game’s characters. Purcell will be lending his voice to the animatronic head of Duncan B. Dills, creator of the AquaBear Funtime Park.

HALLOWEEN KILLS Official Trailer and Release Date

In 2018, David Gordon Green’s Halloween, starring icon Jamie Lee Curtis, killed at the box office, earning more than $250 million worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing chapter in the four-decade franchise and setting a new record for the biggest opening weekend in history for a horror film starring a woman.

And the Halloween night when Michael Myers returned isn’t over yet.

Minutes after Laurie Strode (Curtis), her daughter Karen (Judy Greer) and granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) left masked monster Michael Myers caged and burning in Laurie’s basement, Laurie is rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, believing she finally killed her lifelong tormentor.

But when Michael manages to free himself from Laurie’s trap, his ritual bloodbath resumes. As Laurie fights her pain and prepares to defend herself against him, she inspires all of Haddonfield to rise up against their unstoppable monster.

The Strode women join a group of other survivors of Michael’s first rampage who decide to take matters into their own hands, forming a vigilante mob that sets out to hunt Michael down, once and for all.

Fast & Furious Gets Fan Exhibit at Universal Studios Hollywood and Orlando

Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort deliver the thrills to guests this summer as the place to experience all things Fast & Furious as Universal Pictures’ opens the ninth installment in the global blockbuster franchise, F9, in U.S. theaters June 25. Fans can see the new movie at Universal CityWalk, check out original cars from the films and then continue the adventure at both theme parks’ “Fast & Furious—Supercharged” rides, which feature stars from the film series.

The “Fast & Furious” experience begins with advance screenings of F9, beginning Thursday, June 24. Tickets are available now at Universal Cinema, an AMC® theater at Universal CityWalk Hollywood and Universal Cinemark at Universal CityWalk Orlando.

Now through June 27, at Universal Studios Hollywood, fans can get an in-person look at some of the franchise’s most iconic cars, including the signature black 1968 Mid-Engine Dodge Charger driven by Dom Toretto in F9, which is on display outside Universal Cinema on CityWalk.

Within Universal Studios Hollywood, guests can experience the Fast & Furious cars driven by Dom Toretto and Roman Pearce, among others. Select cars on display within Universal Plaza are Dom’s black 1970 Dodge Charger R/T from 2001’s original The Fast and The Furious, Roman Pearce’s 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GTS from 2 Fast 2 Furious, the 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner driven by Dom in Furious 7 and the 1940 Willy’s Coupe seen in The Fate of the Furious. Two additional vehicles from F9 round out the famous cars in Picture Car row, which can be seen only along Universal’s world-famous Studio Tour.

The high-octane “Fast & Furious—Supercharged” ride is the thrilling grand finale to Universal Studios Hollywood’s Studio Tour, which takes guests on an exhilarating, high-stakes adventure with their favorite characters.

Universal Orlando Resort turbo charges the Fast & Furious action with the addition of Dom’s famous black 1968 Mid-Engine Dodge Charger from F9 displayed front and center at Universal Studios Florida now through July 19. A larger-than-life eight-panel mega photo op accompanies the car display for guests to pose with their favorite stars from the new film. Guests can join the Fast family on an authentic and immersive experience that places them right in the middle of the action on the “Fast & Furious—Supercharged” ride.

Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood Unveils Friends-Inspired Cafe

When Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood reopens on June 26, Friends fans are in for a treat. Located in Stage 48: Script to Screen, one of the many stops on the tour, guests can now enjoy a delicious New York deli-inspired menu including corned beef melts, pizza wedges, hot dogs, fries, and an assortment of salads, hot and cold sandwiches, and our special blend of Central Perk coffee with new Friends character-inspired beverages. For dessert, we have recreated Rachel’s Thanksgiving trifle (no meat in this version), New York style cheesecake, Central Perk cupcakes, and other tasty bakery treats.

Guests then get to dine in recreated sets inspired by the show including Central Perk, Joey and Chandler’s Apartment, or Monica’s Apartment, where you can sit at the kitchen table or settle into her comfortable sofa. A variety of costumes worn by the cast are on display, and there are plenty of great photo opportunities throughout.

After dining, shop in our Friends boutique with exclusive merchandise found only at this location on the Studio Tour. The store has an exclusive collection of kitchen and dining ware, Monica’s famous door frame, Friends reunion-inspired spirit jerseys and coffee mugs, and a wide range of other gifts, souvenirs, and collectibles. Central Perk coffee beans (only available at the Central Perk Café and Friends boutique) are also on sale for guests to enjoy a cup of joe at home.

Central Perk Café and the Friends boutique are only accessible with the purchase of a Studio Tour ticket. Opening June 26 on weekends, the tour will operate Thursday to Monday (closed Tuesday and Wednesday) beginning July 15. Tours depart every 30 minutes from 9:00AM to 3:30PM. First Look at Character Art for Critical Role’s The Legend of Vox Machina

Today, Critical Role revealed a first look at the character art for The Legend of Vox Machina, the upcoming Amazon Original animated series from Critical Role and Titmouse. The reveal was made via the latest installment of Critical Role’s behind-the-scenes digital series, The Legend of The Legend of Vox Machina. It was also announced that Phil Bourassa (Young Justice, Batman: Bad Blood, Justice League) is the lead character designer.

The Amazon Original series The Legend of Vox Machina follows a group of second-rate adventurers on a quest to save the realm from terrifying monsters and dark magical forces. Throughout the first season, our characters will face undead giants, overthrow a sinister necromancer, and confront a powerful curse that has taken root inside their own group. Through it all, they learn how to function as a team, and discover they’re much more than that: they’re family.

The Legend of Vox Machina stars the Critical Role cast of Laura Bailey, Taliesin Jaffe, Ashley Johnson, Liam O’Brien, Matthew Mercer, Marisha Ray, Sam Riegel, and Travis Willingham, who are reprising their roles; they also serve as executive producers, alongside Brandon Auman (Star Wars: Resistance) and Chris Prynoski (Metalocalypse), with Sung Jin Ahn (Niko and the Sword of Light) joining as supervising director. The Emmy award-winning animation production company, Titmouse is the animation partner.

In 2019, Critical Role launched The Legend of Vox Machina as a Kickstarter campaign for a 22-minute animated special produced by Emmy Award winning studio Titmouse, reaching their original funding goal within minutes. The campaign continued to gain traction thanks to Critical Role’s passionate fanbase, becoming the most-funded TV, film or animated project in Kickstarter history and raising over $11.3M. The fan support led to an increase of 24 episodes across two seasons, with Amazon Prime Video serving as the exclusive streaming home for the animated series.
