Dead Island 2 Goes Gold – Release Sooner By One Week

Deep Silver and Dambuster Studios are in equal measures absolutely thrilled and totally relieved to confirm today that the long-anticipated next entry in their world-renowned zombie slaying saga, Dead Island 2, has GONE GOLD. As a celebration, the two companies have also decided to shorten the wait for fans and release the game one week earlier than previously announced. The zombie slaying will now commence on Friday, April 21. Pinky swear.

The groundbreaking Dead Island franchise first hit the scene in 2011 with one of the most viewed video game trailers of all time. The latest installment, which was announced with a gloriously gory trailer during Gamescom’s Opening Night Live event in 2022, takes players on a blood-soaked, pulp voyage to escape Los Angeles, now nicknamed HELL-A, as it descends into zombie-infested chaos with all the over-the-top action and dark humor that fans will be expecting.

Leading up to the game’s release, Deep Silver will be revealing more gameplay and trailers for fans of the franchise to enjoy before they embark on their own fight for survival this April.

The TV spot that debuted during today’s big game for Lucasfilm’s “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny,” starring Harrison Ford as the legendary hero archaeologist and directed by James Mangold (“Ford v Ferrari,” “Logan”), is available now. The highly anticipated fifth installment of the iconic franchise will open in theaters on June 30, 2023.

Today, during the Big Game, Marvel Studios and James Gunn released a brand-new, action-packed trailer online for “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,” the final film in the “Guardians of the Galaxy” franchise, spearheaded by James Gunn. The trailer and a new poster are both available now to share with your readers.

In Marvel Studios’ “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” our beloved band of misfits are settling into life on Knowhere. But it isn’t long before their lives are upended by the echoes of Rocket’s turbulent past. Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him on a dangerous mission to save Rocket’s life—a mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.

The film stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, featuring Vin Diesel as Groot and Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Sean Gunn, Chukwudi Iwuji, Will Poulter and Maria Bakalova.

Fast X, the tenth film in the Fast & Furious Saga, launches the final chapters of one of cinema’s most storied and popular global franchises, now in its third decade and still going strong with the same core cast and characters as when it began.

Over many missions and against impossible odds, Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his family have outsmarted, out-nerved and outdriven every foe in their path. Coinciding with the six month countdown to Halloween aka “Half-o-ween”, Spooky Swap Meet returns to the hauntingly beautiful Heritage Square Museum for a macabre, curated shopping experience, including, new for this year, a walk-thru haunted attraction! Saturday and Sunday, April 29 and 30, 2023, from 10am-7pm on Saturday and 10am-5pm on Sunday.

Sixty plus vendors will have selections of gothic furnishings, Halloween inspired decor, apparel, props, and more. Fortune telling and food will also be available for purchase.

Guests of all ages are encouraged to trick-or-treat at the seven stops of Heritage Square’s manors whose exteriors have been decorated and “spooked up” for the weekend by “house hosts” including AdamJessFx, Art’s Sideshow, a Bones’ Gulch and Samhain’s Lot collaboration, A Mr. He Slasher, LA Haunted Hayride, and Vamp & The Fiends. The extra-daring can also walk-thru an original haunted attraction created especially for Spooky Swap Meet by Fear Farm. For those that like to boogie, LVCRFT and Skeleton Sam will host a Halloween dance party at the top of each hour.

Leading video game publisher and developer Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. announced today BATEN KAITOS™ Ⅰ & Ⅱ HD REMASTER, a remastered collection of both BATEN KAITOS™ games originally released on the Nintendo GameCube™, is coming to Nintendo Switch™ in the summer of 2023.

Players will have the opportunity to discover or rediscover the emotional journeys of the BATEN KAITOS series, which features distinct card-based RPG systems that allow for split-second decisions that edges participants closer to victory. Players will take the role of a Guardian Spirit and guide each game’s protagonist and their companions through their journey.
