In Spelljammer, reports of falling stars across all of Toril has led Lord Neverember to summon adventurers to investigate this ill omen. However, while bolstering the city’s defenses, the city of Neverwinter is struck by an astral seed – leading to an assault from Astral Elves of the Xaryxian Empire. During this battle, a spelljammer ship, the Moondancer arrives with the offer of assistance against his deadly empire and departs to Wildspace. New Adventure Zone – Wildspace – A new style of adventure zone never seen before in Neverwinter! Wildspace isn’t a single planet, or area, and it’s not on Toril/ Faerûn — Wildspace is composed of different Landing Sites, each with a unique story, various quests, and different inhabitants all inspired by Spelljammer: Adventures in Space. In addition, there is a special Invasion site where the players battle against the Xaryxian Empire in a race against the clock.
New Trial – Defense of the Moondancer – In this new trial, The Moondancer is ambushed by a Xaryxian ship, the Dirty Deceit. Damaged in a surprise attack and boarded, players will need to battle through the Moondancer’s halls and fight their way aboard the Dirty Deceit to defeat Captain Xoor’lar. The new trial will have three difficulty tiers (Normal, Advanced, Master) along with new rewards unique for each difficulty, with the best rewards from the challenging Master difficulty version of the trial.
New Quality-of-Life Improvements – The new module will bring multiple quality-of-life improvements to Neverwinter:
Boon System Update – Players will be able to unlock multiple different master boons, using their boon points. Master boons have been reworked and upgraded, adding powerful new customization options.
Trial Interface Update – Trials have a new interface to help showcase the full team status.
Paladin Class Update – As requested by Neverwinter’s community of players, updates, bug fixes and improvements have been made to the Paladin class.
Barbarian Sentinel Update – Updates and bug fixes to the Barbarian tank paragon, the Sentinel, have made the class a much more robust option for defeating the Xaryxian Empire.

Blizzard Entertainment, Glass Cannon Unplugged, and Genuine Entertainment are proud to announce a long-term tabletop gaming program delving into the Burning Hells of the genre-defining video game series, Diablo®.
Glass Cannon Unplugged’s multi-year agreement with Blizzard calls for a growing range of tabletop games drawing from the full scope of the Diablo series and universe. The first release drops next fall with an official Diablo tabletop roleplaying game, which will launch via a pre-order campaign on Kickstarter after its world debut at BlizzCon® 2024.
“We’ve spent the past year living the dream with Blizzard. Collaborating with game directors, producers, and loremasters. Testing our demon-fighting skills. Reading endless tomes. We couldn’t have asked for more access, enthusiasm, and support,” says GCU CEO Jakub Wiśniewski. “Going to hell has never been so much fun.”
Diablo®: The Roleplaying Game features an original core engine inspired by Diablo IV, the recent blockbuster that pioneers new ground for open-world, non-linear exploration. The Diablo RPG will further explore the overworld and underworld of Sanctuary, embarking on adventures above and below with fan-favorite mechanics torn straight from the screen.
The Core Rulebook is thematically set alongside Diablo IV, with future tabletop supplements planned throughout Diablo’s timeline. Moreover, the TTRPG is a direct companion to the upcoming Diablo: The Board Game, a co-op adventure board game slated for fall 2025. The TTRPG and board game will fuel one another with interchangeable game components, shared accessories, and complementary expansions with overarching events in a fully integrated product line.
Rounding out the party is Joe LeFavi of Genuine Entertainment, GCU’s sorcerer who conjured up the Diablo collaboration and serves as their line producer and brand manager on the program. LeFavi also sits in the managing editor chair on the Diablo RPG, leveraging his prior experience working on other high-profile RPGs (including Alien, Altered Carbon, Blade Runner, The Dragon Prince, Dune, and The Walking Dead) to steer the series with GCU. “Diablo plunged a soulstone into the hearts and minds of an entire generation of gamers and game makers – myself included,” says LeFavi. “It’s been a life-long dream to work and play in Sanctuary.”
