Dying Light 2 Stay Human – For Honor Event Trailer

Techland joins forces with Ubisoft to bring the latter’s famed warriors to the world of Dying Light 2 Stay Human. Players will be able to come across the Kensei, Wardens, and Berserkers, as part of the 2-week For Honor Event, starting on Tuesday, Nov. 21, at 7 am PT / 10 am ET, and ending on Tuesday, Dec. 5, also at 7 am PT / 10 am ET. The medieval foes arrive with brand new attack animations and dedicated behavior.

The For Honor Event comes with exciting rewards for defeating the warriors. Earn five Rage Boosters for fulfilling the Participation Goal. Warm-up Goal, on the other hand, grants the player the Berserker’s Hand Axe weapon and blueprint. Achieving the Personal Goal yields Berserker Outfit and Viking Faction Paraglider. And if players come together to reach the Global Goal, everyone will get Warlord’s Shield weapon charm.

Apart from the event, Dying Light 2 Stay Human players can also expect three For Honor bundles. All elements of the Berserker Bundle can be collected by fulfilling the event’s goals, but it can also be bought in the in-game shop, along with the other two. Warden Bundle consists of Warden Longsword weapon and blueprint, Warden Outfit, Knight Faction Paraglider, and Footman’s Flail weapon charm. Kensei Bundle is made up of the signature Kensei’s Nodachi weapon and blueprint, Kensei Outfit, Samurai Faction Paraglider, and Hitokiri’s Mask Charm. Each of the bundles will be available in the store for 500 DL Points.

Traverse three new islands in the Snake Region, and continue the quest to discover what fate befell the missing crew members of Juan Ponce de Leon’s legendary 16th-century expedition. Aonic Completes Acquisition of nDreams for $110 million

Aonic has today completed the acquisition of nDreams, the world’s biggest VR game developer and publisher, for a total enterprise value close to $110 million.

Headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, Aonic is a group of global gaming companies with diverse specialisms. The group, which includes the likes of Warren Spector’s OtherSide Entertainment, Milky Tea, Exmox and TutoTOONS, invested an initial $35 million in nDreams in March 2022 and received a minority stake.

This cash injection precipitated an incredibly fruitful period for nDreams, during which the team has more than doubled in size to 250 people. Internally-developed titles such as The Game Awards-nominated Synapse and Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord have been released, while investments in third-party publishing have powered the chart-topping launch of PowerWash Simulator VR and the enduring success of Little Cities. nDreams even made its own debut acquisition with VR/AR experts Near Light joining in December 2022.

Aonic is on a rapid path to becoming the next global gaming powerhouse and has built a decentralised and collaborative structure in which its family of mid-sized studios can thrive. This includes plenty of opportunities for knowledge and resource sharing among specialised teams. Having spent more than a decade at the forefront of VR gaming, nDreams brings unrivalled expertise in XR technologies and markets for fellow Aonic studios to tap into.

Meanwhile, nDreams will continue its trajectory under familiar leadership, with co-founders Patrick and Tamsin O’Luanaigh (Chief Executive Officer and Chief People Officer respectively) remaining in their positions alongside the rest of the company’s executive team. Its core focus will remain unchanged, while benefiting from a stable and supportive environment to continue growing. The investment will facilitate nDreams’ future investments in third-party publishing and, potentially, more studio acquisitions.

In an immersive and suspenseful experience, The THING Pinball table follows the plot of Universal Pictures’ thrilling 1982 cult-classic film. Players will immerse themselves in a thrilling and suspenseful world inspired by the film and use their pinball skills to battle against the shape-shifting alien set in the arctic tundra of U.S. Outpost #31.

The chilling table features include:

  • Players will be challenged to survive the vicious attack of the Dog-Thing by shooting its tentacles.
  • It’s Bennings! Players will not only be able to watch him transform but then torch what he becomes.

I am the Undead Music Video from Ghoultown and Blood West

Indie First Person-Shooter veterans, Hyperstrange, pride themselves for having heavy metal embedded deep in their DNA, as proven many times since their debut, a “Metal Action Fantasy Slasher” ELDERBORN. Bringing their wild west horror stealth shooter Blood West out of Early Access, they team up with Ghoultown, an American viral rock band, and the multi animation award winning Smile Studios to create the song and the music video “I Am The Undead”. A western heavy metal ballad about one gunslinger’s eternal damnation.

In this new video, the revenant gunslinger ventures into the abandoned Ghoultown, a hell-ridden nightmare despite the welcome sign in view, enjoying a sip of drink before all breaks loose. The music band Ghoultown, combining elements of rock, metal, and Western, take us on a cowpunk journey through the fights and killings of the undead gunslinger, blood and guts spilling after every shot, with our protagonist falling horribly to the overwhelming odds, only to awaken once again and walking back into the punishment.

Ghoultown consists of singer and guitarist Count Lyle, guitarist Jake Middlefinger, guitarist Lizard Lazario, bassist Santi, drummer Dalton Black, and trumpetist Randy Graham, and they all treat us to their performance in their ghost shapes of a fully original new song composed by them for Blood West. Both a tribute and a celebration of the game, ‘I Am The Undead’ captures the bizarre nature of a cursed gunman roaming through the old wild west in a murdering rampage of horrifying monsters, and as the game does as well, the fun of it all.

Blood West is an immersive wild west stealth FPS with RPG elements where, as a revenant desperado, you take on the twisted demons and eldritch horrors, while you search for the means to end the curse that has befallen the frontier, and maybe find some peace for your wicked soul. One quest after another, the spirits of the land will lead you towards even greater challenges in a story-rich non-linear adventure. And whatever your path may be – things will get rough. For hell is empty and all the devils are here!

The third and final part of Blood West’s story is coming up later this year when the full game launches on December 5. It will be your time to explore the mountains, a region even deadlier than the mines and the swamp, adding fan-favorite voice actor Stephen L. Russell, better known for his roles in Thief, Dishonored 2, and many others, to this new entry in the stealth immersive sim genre.

L.A. Comic Con Unveils Full Event Listing

L.A. Comic Con, Los Angeles’ largest event for comics, gaming, anime, cosplay and pop culture, is excited to announce its full lineup of panels and entertainment for its December 1-3 show. After breaking new ground in 2022 with a record-shattering 126,000 total fans in attendance, event organizers are leveling up the Con experience yet again by doubling down on some of the most popular elements and activations of last year.

“Los Angeles has some of the most knowledgeable, diverse, and passionate fans in the world and they deserve a show that encompasses everything they love about Con culture,” said Chris DeMoulin, CEO/GM of Los Angeles Comic Con parent company CEI. “Our team has worked to make this year’s show another unforgettable experience that embodies the creativity and artistry of the films, shows, comics, and creators we all know and love.”

L.A. Comic Con 2023 will feature over 250 panels and programming running all weekend to spotlight some of the most beloved names in entertainment today, with opportunities to interact with stars through photo ops and autograph signings. Attendees get the chance to test their skills against some of the most iconic FGC players in the world  with the Street Fighter 6 Experience — playing against the likes of Justin Wong, an FGC legend who has won more EVO titles than anyone else with nine tournaments victories, as well as one of the top-ranked FGC players currently in North America, Punk, and FGC organizer Alex Jebailey (known as Jebaited on Twitch). There will also be 2 additional tournaments powered by LeagueSpot, where fans can try their hand competitively against other fans at Mortal Kombat 1 and Street Fighter 6,  with the finals being held on the West Hall Gaming Stage.. 

The MIX

The Media Indie Exchange (The MIX) will be bringing 10+ new games, currently in development, to L.A. Comic Con. Fans have a chance to meet with the developers and discover what’s new and upcoming in the gaming industry.

Gaming Freeplay Zone:

Take a seat in our Freeplay zone and enjoy some of the hottest games on PC and console. Covering a range of classics to the newest releases, this hangout spot gives fans a chance to play games with others during the show!

Aspiring creators can stream live to the world directly from the floors of L.A. Comic Con!

The Main Stage:

The main stage is a staple of L.A. Comic Con where much of the most anticipated action takes place— serving as the hub for all the headliner panels and top entertainment guests. Main stage talent will feature the stars behind some of Comic Con fan’s favorite creations from the Star Wars universe, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Power Rangers and more.

The most unpredictable show on radio can now be seen live at L.A. Comic Con. The iconic KROQ will be hosting our Friday night LIVE on the Main Stage, bringing on musicians, comedians and your favorite stars with an epic 2 hour variety show! This year, our special guests announced so far:

  • Logic: the Grammy-nominated hip-hop artist and producer with chart topping albums “Under Pressure” and “The Incredible True Story”

The 8th Annual National Cosplay Championship:

There’s no Comic Con without Cosplaying! That’s why every year, we give all our creative cosplayers a chance to compete for $30,000 in cash and other prizes by participating in one of three categories: Master, Journeyman, or Novice. All genres are welcome, including characters from film, television, theater, comics, video games, sci-fi, anime, horror, and original creations.

Kids’ Costume Contest:

Every year we host a special costume contest for all the junior cosplayers 12 and younger. All finalists will receive prizes and the top 5 will win a prize pack provided by a special guest!

Los Angeles Football Club:

L.A. Comic Con will once again feature the defending MLS Cup Champions for a meet and greet and autograph signings. On Saturday, December 2nd, fans can meet LAFC talent, see the MLS cup, and get an exclusive LAFC Comic Con Poster. On Sunday, December 3, LAFC will be hosting a skills clinic for kids, 12 and under from 1-3pm!
