Get ready for the Circle of Hell! The latest themed event for Battlefield 2042 will be available to all players for four weeks, from Tuesday, October 29 through Tuesday, November 26.
Lethality is the name of the game for this event. Introducing new limited time experiences – Hardcore Conquest, Hardcore Rush and Hardcore Breakthrough – players can immerse themselves in deadly battles that will test their skills like never before with increased damage output, limiting HUD and locking weapons. In addition, Circle of Hell’s Hardcore map rotation will include Battle of the Bulge, El Alamein, Orbital and Redacted, with Battle of the Bulge and El Alamein both receiving visual updates and the M1 Garand weapon making its way from Portal to All-Out Warfare.
Alongside a dramatically reshaped battlefield experience, Circle of Hell brings with it an all-new Event Pass with new cosmetics, as well as spooky rewards and modes to enjoy. Players will continue to earn even more unlockables, including BFCs and four legendary items.

For the next four weeks, Story DLC, which include new story missions and Mobile Suits will be available to purchase. The first Story DLC mission, “GO! Also launching today is the first wave of Diorama Pack DLC, which will provide players with new diorama objects and backgrounds. The first Diorama Pack DLC “Colony Set” gives players the ability to create an intense battle scenes inside and out of the giant space colonies key to the Gundam franchise.
And as a reminder to returning players, several free Mobile Suit DLC were released earlier this month and are available to download: Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam, Gundam Calibarn, and Gundam Calibarn Permet Score Five.
As an aspiring Gunpla hobbyist, players will be able to mesh together their own mecha creations by using parts from more than 250 iconic Mobile Suits from throughout the Gundam series, and then test their creations on a virtual battlefield with up to 3 players in co-op multiplayer. Fight through missions to hack, slash and shoot through hordes of enemy mechs, build up combos by chaining together melee and ranged attacks, breaking off their parts to collect and upgrade builds. GUNDAM BREAKER 4 introduces an all-new feature to the series, where players will be able to dual-wield different weapons for unique combos in their quest for the best parts to build the perfect Gunpla. Fight through the game’s fully voiced story mode to uncover the sinister plots within the GBBBB battle simulator.
Between battles, players access a robust mecha garage where they can customize their creations with new parts as well as paint, decals, and weathering to make the ultimate mecha expression for Gundam fans. Once players finish building their Gunpla, they have the option to bring it into a wide variety of both offline and online missions. Take down bosses or take on hordes of enemy mecha to gain new parts and equip new skills. Load up a Quest mission to fight for a veritable treasure trove of Gunpla parts or select specific NPC enemies to take their bounties for extra in-game currency. For the creative-minded, a brand-new feature unique to GUNDAM BREAKER 4 is the introduction of Diorama Mode. Players can construct elaborate scenarios with a variety of backgrounds, environmental elements, and special effects, then place any of their Gunpla creations in a diorama, capturing the perfect pose with highly articulable models and sharing their scenes with players around the world. Also, a first for the series, the experience is further enhanced for players in the West with full English VO, bringing even more immersion into the game’s unique take on the Gundam universe.

Indie games publisher Nordcurrent Labs, in partnership with developer Misfit Village, has today announced that the hotly anticipated first-person psychological thriller investigation game Go Home Annie will be launching on PC via Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store on December 3rd, 2024, and later next year on console. During the Indie Horror showcase, a new trailer has been released, introducing the shadowy paranormal investigation outfit, the SCP Foundation, and the metaphysical mysteries they seek to answer, which go beyond human comprehension.
In Go Home Annie you assume the role of Annie, a low-level employee of the SCP Foundation, a covert organization meant to secure and contain anomalous entities and protect the general public from them. Working for the SCP’s Replication Division, you’re tasked with testing artificially developed paranormal events. You’ll have to solve puzzles, converse with strange entities, and explore multiple paths to untangle the secrets behind the SCP’s Replication Division.
Why has an organization with the motto “Secure, Contain, Protect” created a division for replicating paranormal events and anomalous entities? Global publisher Grindstone and independent developer Games Farm’s highly anticipated roguelike horde-survivor game Jötunnslayer: Hordes of Hel has emerged as one of Steam Next Fest’s standout titles, with over 44,000 demo downloads and surpassing 125,000 wishlists. The demo has achieved a remarkable 9/10 ‘Very Positive’ rating on Steam, validating the studio’s innovative approach to the genre.
In response to the overwhelming reception, Games Farm CEO, Peter Nagy shared a few words “It feels really great to receive an email from Valve saying that your demo was one of the most played,” balancing pride in the team’s achievement with heartfelt gratitude.
The extended demo features an exclusive roster of three playable characters – the fearless Berserker, the cunning Seeress, and the newly introduced Revenant. The Shakturi have sharpened their Psychic skills, making them even more dangerous in space and ground combat, diplomacy, espionage, and research. They can even turn our own ships, troops and greatest heroes against us.
However, do not despair! To confront this unprecedented threat, factions now have access to the new Planet Destroyers and Mega Ships, as well as new research that can help level the field against these Shakturi advantages. These assets are vital to have a chance of defeating the Shakturi in large-scale confrontations. Outposts are another weapon to allow us to secure vital territory in previously uncolonizable planets, enabling future expansion and access to more of the ancient ruins. Furthermore, strength in numbers has never been more crucial. The new alliance system allows our empires to forge closer bonds, coordinate strategy, and collaborate more effectively against common enemies.
But be cautious about whom you trust, as every faction can be a sinister Shakturi ally.
