SENARA: The Sacrament Official Release Date Trailer

Indie developer Influsion Inc. are proud to reveal that their upcoming first-person survival horror game SENARA: The Sacrament is launching on Steam July 30th. Set aboard a mysterious derelict cruise liner teetering on the edge of ruin, players must survive unspeakable horrors as they search for a means of escape. You can catch a glimpse of its nautical nightmares in the release date trailer below:

SENARA: The Sacrament puts players in the role of a new recruit of a religious organization with a massive 6,000-ton ship: the Senara. Upon setting sail you wake up to find the crew missing, while unspeakably horrors roam its steel corridors. Hidden cult rituals, forbidden truths, and survivors with their own agendas await you in the darkness. In a place where blind faith and salvation intertwine, you’ll be forced to make choices that go far beyond survival.

Hearkening back to classic survival horror design, SENARA: The Sacrament offers a massive escape room where you must solve puzzles and use limited resources to your advantage if you’re to get out alive. In order to get out of the Senara alive, you’ll have to ration your resources, make use of stealth, and make difficult decisions regarding when to fight or flee. Explore the complex, intertwined corridors of this structure based on a real ship, uncover hidden passages, and gather clues to find the key to your escape.

This unholy tale is open to interpretation with snippets of truth scattered across documents, objects, and conversations between characters. Depending on what you believe and how you interpret the clues, the story can unfold in entirely different directions. With multiple endings based on your choices, your decisions affect not only your escape but also the fate of the Senara and what truth comes to light.

Using LiDAR, photogrammetry, and Unity HDRP pipelines, SENARA: The Sacrament offers a scan of a real-life documentary-level accuracy 6,000-ton ship. This precise reality reconstruction naturally adds an ultra immersive, uncanny playspace for players to get lost in.

“SENARA: The Sacrament hearkens back to the golden age of survival horror, but with a modern twist,” said No-Jin Kwak, Director at Influsion Inc. “It retains the item scarcity, puzzles, and freeform exploration of the genre’s best entries, now enhanced with a state-of-the-art recreation of real ocean liner. We believe this adds a deliberately uncanny layer to its oppressive atmosphere, offering untold immersion to its nightmarish tale of high seas horror.”

Subnautica 2 Releases First Early Access Update as Sales Surpass 5 Million

Unknown Worlds today released the first Early Access update for Subnautica 2, expanding key gameplay systems and improving the early-game experience based on player feedback. The update arrives shortly after the game surpassed 5 million cumulative sales in early June following its Early Access launch on May 14.

Developed through Unknown Worlds’ “open development” approach, Subnautica 2 is being shaped alongside the community throughout Early Access. This first update focuses on refining core systems, improving co-op quality of life, and giving players more ways to explore, survive, and customize their progression.

Expanded Biomods and New Biolabs
A major focus of the update is the Biomod system, which allows players to temporarily borrow traits from nearby creatures to enhance their abilities. The update adds two new Biolabs in the Coral Gardens and Axum Ruins, increasing the number of unlockable Biomods from four to six. Players can also unlock additional passive Biomod slots by scanning targets with the Bioscanner.

Improved Co-op Audio and PDA Databank Controls
The update also improves how audio logs work in co-op. Audio logs will no longer play automatically when collected and can instead be played manually through the PDA Databank, the in-game archive that expands as players scan creatures and collect records throughout the world. This change helps prevent audio logs from automatically playing for other players during co-op sessions, creating a smoother shared experience.

Exploration, Survival, and Basebuilding Updates
Exploration and survival have also been updated. Wrecks now include additional routes and oxygen-based puzzles, while players can now sprint outside the water, including on the surface and inside bases. Base-building improvements include better placement for the Tadpole Dock and Fabricator, along with a new dedicated storage structure. Additional improvements have also been made across rendering, creature behavior, and the user interface.

“With this update, we focused on refining the early-game experience and core systems,” said Fernando Melo, Executive Producer at Unknown Worlds. “We’ll continue shaping the world of Subnautica 2 together with our players throughout Early Access.”

Subnautica 2 is available now on Steam, Xbox (Series X|S consoles and PC), and the Epic Games Store. Players can learn more by visiting the official Subnautica website and social media channels (Discord | X | Facebook | Instagram | TikTok | Twitch | Bluesky | Threads | YouTube).

Verho Curse of Faces Chaos Content Update & Console Release Teaser

The dark fantasy RPG from developer Kasur Games and publisher CobraTekku Games captivated many fans of the genre upon its release and inspired Steam users to give it very positive reviews. Starting July 30th, console players can look forward to the dark world of Yariv, the life-threatening dungeons, and the unique masks and playstyles of Verho – Curse of Faces. Also included is a content update that brings new content and challenges players on all platforms. The game will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch at the price of 24,99€/24,99$/20.99£.

The new teaser for the console release of Verho – Curse of Faces

In Verho – Curse of Faces, players take on the role of nameless protagonists exploring the hostile world of Yariv, where masks serve as essential protection and bearers of identity. Each mask represents a specific class, ranging from powerful melee fighters to agile duelists and mighty mages. The system offers maximum freedom: Instead of being bound by rigid constraints, flexible character development allows players to specialize in any direction they choose. Players can freely develop their individual class concepts at any time, regardless of their initial choice. The gameplay is characterized by a synergy of exploratory elements and combat challenges.

The visual presentation is inspired by the 32-bit era. Through the deliberate use of low-poly models and rough textures, the game captures the nostalgic PlayStation 1 aesthetic. These intentional technical limitations reinforce the game’s oppressive atmosphere and give it a unique identity.
