Commandos: Origins DLC No Man Left Behind Deploys Today

Publisher Kalypso Media and in-house developer Claymore Game Studios today release No Man Left Behind, the second DLC for Commandos: Origins, available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox on PC, and PlayStation®4|5.

Set in the Auvergne region of occupied France, the DLC expands the main campaign with four new missions. Following the capture of the Green Beret during a failed operation, players take command of Thomas “the Sapper” Hancock, Francis T. “the Sniper” Woolridge, and Rene “the Spy” Duchamp to rescue their comrade.

Players navigate through hostile terrain – spanning night time forest operations and heavily guarded military structures scattered across the mountainous countryside. Beyond simple infiltration, objectives evolve: to sabotage the prototype of a new dangerous German superweapon, the Commandos must uncover crucial information and clues on the ground.

The introduction of the Radio Operator adds a fresh tactical challenge. Enemy communications can escalate situations instantly, forcing players to prioritize disruption over direct confrontation. Cutting signal chains is now essential to maintain control across enemy territory.

In a release livestream on YouTube, Kalypso Media shows parts of the first mission of the new DLC.

Commandos: Origins – No Man Left Behind is available now for €14.99 / £12.99 / $14.99 on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox on PC, and PlayStation 4|5. PC players take advantage of different launch discounts: 14% in the Kalypso Store for 14 days as well as 10% for 14 days on Steam and for 7 days on the Epic Games Store.

Foundry Update 4 Release Trailer

Paradox Arc and Channel 3 Entertainment today released the Rails and Reactors update for Foundry, introducing trains, large-scale modular buildings, construction drones, and more.

Foundry is a first-person factory-building and automation sandbox set in a beautiful, procedurally generated voxel world. Players build and optimize advanced robot factories, mine and harvest resources, automate production lines, and manage increasingly complex systems as they research their way to becoming the galaxy’s leading robotics megacorporation.

The Rails & Reactors update introduces trains, a long-awaited feature that allows players to transport massive volumes of resources efficiently between distant bases, unlocking entirely new logistical possibilities. From small end-to-end lines to complex multi-track rail networks, the update got it all covered.

Also included is a new late-game power system: the Xeno Power Plant. This modular complex consists of five interconnected structures and can generate up to 360MW of power. Fueled by newly introduced Xeno-Crystal-based materials, it enables a significant leap in energy production for advanced factories.

Additionally, the update brings a construction drone that allows players to build from a top-down perspective, alongside new assembly robots and a modular casting machine, further expanding automation and production capabilities.

For the Stars Dev Diary 002

Snail Games USA are pleased to unveil the second Dev Diary for their upcoming AAA space-themed “open universe” survival title, For The Stars. Playing as an intrepid explorer and scientist, For The Stars invites you to travel from world to world, uncovering the secrets of alien civilizations, seeking out rare and exotic creatures and harnessing resources to tame the treacherous biomes you encounter on a vast array of diverse planets waiting to be explored.

Hot on the heels of its presentation at last month’s GDC (Game Developers Conference), this sneak peak at For the Stars features an overview at the base-building and survival gameplay you’ll encounter as you go on your intergalactic expedition. Upon landing on a new planet, you’ll need to create an automated factory of pipes, ducts, conveyer belts, and drones to move liquids, solids, and gasses from extraction to storage.

Gathering resources won’t be easy, as you’ll need to make difficult decisions about what sorts of vehicles to take to survive the hazardous climates and creatures you’ll encounter, as well as haul a worthwhile amount of cargo back to your base. Ecosystems are fully organic in For The Stars, so wiping out a nest of alien insects will have a domino effect across the neighboring flora and fauna.

In For The Stars’ ambitious persistent multiplayer universe, you will establish and expand outposts across the cosmos, conquer the challenges of hostile biomes, forge alliances, and build a legacy that spans the galaxy.

Key Features of For The Stars:

  • Diverse Worlds: Each planet you visit offers new challenges and rewards, with distinct ecosystems, creatures and resources. From lush, verdant worlds to barren, rocky landscapes, the variety ensures no two explorations are the same.
  • Strange Alien Ruins: Discover remnants of lost civilizations, ancient ruins, and hidden treasures that tell the stories of the cosmos.
  • Unique Resources: Collect and harness strange resources found on different planets. Build advanced outposts, craft powerful tools, and develop cutting-edge technology needed to overcome each world’s challenges.
  • Advanced Construction: Establish and expand outposts on various planets. Balance your needs with laboratories, factories, and living quarters. Your ingenuity and strategy will determine the success of your colonies and determine if they can withstand the trials of space.
  • Extensive Research: Start with advanced technologies that you can innovate on. Unlock new technologies by studying alien artifacts and natural phenomena. Research to help you overcome specific challenges, build more efficient outposts, create advanced equipment, and explore further into the unknown.
  • Customizable Spacecraft: Design and build your own spacecraft to travel between planets. Each ship can be tailored to your specific needs using resources and technology you have found, whether it’s for combat, exploration, or resource gathering.
  • Dynamic Combat: Engage in fast-paced combat using both futuristic weapons and special abilities with alien origins. Customize your arsenal for counterplay against hostile alien creatures, enemy players, and other threats.
  • Multiplayer Exploration: Team up with friends or make new allies as you explore the galaxy together in a persistent multiplayer universe. Collaborate on building projects, share discoveries, and tackle challenges as a united front. Choose to enter contested regions to fight other players for control of the galaxy.
