It looks as though Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s upcoming action-RPG, Bastion, will be kicking off Microsoft’s Summer of Arcade program for XBLA titles on July 20, 2011. Bastion puts players in the boots of “The Kid” who must fight off all sorts of creatures and badness in order to save his civilization. Bastion will retail for 1200 Microsoft Points.
MGM and a couple other companies whom I cannot make out on the bottom of the teaser poster have released a teaser poster for their upcoming Bill & Ted 3. Not much is known about the upcoming film, save that it will involve both Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter reprising their classic roles.

Calibur11 and EPIC Games have teamed up to create a pretty awesome giveaway. Customers who purchase Calibur11’s Gears of War 3 Vault (a case which encompasses your Xbox 360 console as well as provides increased airflow – all with a special Gears of War theme) will be entered into a drawing to win a life-sized suit of COG armor.
“We are huge fans of the ‘Gears of War’ franchise and really wanted to raise the bar with our exclusive Gears of War 3 Vault,” said Coy Christmas, CEO of Calibur11. “We believe we have succeeded in doing so with the addition of the different color modes and the Infected Omen which reacts every time you get downed or are revived in the game.”
Gears of War 3 is due out on September 20, 2011 for the Xbox 360 home entertainment system from Microsoft.
