Smith & Tinker and Personae Studios have announced that they are bringing the beloved Mechwarrior franchise to the iOS platform with Mechwarrior: Tactical Command. The game is set for release sometime next year and will allow players to select over 30 mech options and engage enemies in RTT gameplay (“Real Time Tactics”).
“Maintaining the discipline of secrecy has been monumental,” states Personae Studios’ Director, Edmund Koh. “But we’ve finally come to the point where we are comfortable with the quality of our offering, which is keeping with the expectations of our fan base for the pedigree of this franchise. The game will now be available on a mobile platform – this is history in the making for the [MechWarrior] franchise.”

Digital Reality Publishing has announced that the upcoming shoot ’em up title, Sine Mora, is now an official Xbox LIVE Arcade exclusive title. The game’s release date has yet to be announced.

Futuremark has released a new trailer for their upcoming tower defense title, Unstoppable Gorg.

BioWare has sent out a reminder to its fans regarding the imminent launch of Star Wars: The Old Republic. The message? It is still good to go for a December 20th release (December 13th if you pre-ordered).
