demons-1

Ridgewood, NJ – March 17, 2015 – The malevolent Horde of The Dungeon Lord is a threat to be feared, but what they have for brawn they sadly lack in brains. Take control of The Demons and use their devastating magic to rid The Overworld of the troublesome humans forevermore. The Demons are the second playable faction in Dungeons 2, offering a different style of gameplay and featuring their own unique dungeon rooms, traps and creatures to control. While The Horde faction has powerful brutes bred for war, The Demons utilize more magic based abilities. Use the corrosive acid of the Chaos Weaver to damage enemies over time and protect your army with The Shield of Emptiness spell. Or give your demons a self-esteem boost in the Room of Admiration and alleviate worker boredom by torturing poor souls with The Succubi.

Both The Horde and Demon factions are featured in the main campaign of Dungeons 2 and can also be used in sandbox and multiplayer mode. Tennant and Piper to Appear at Wizard World Philadelphia 2015

PHILADELPHIA, March 16, 2015 – David Tennant, who starred as the “Tenth Doctor” on the long-running series “Doctor Who,” and Billie Piper, who was his love “Rose Tyler,” will make their first dual U.S. public signing and photo op appearance at Wizard World Comic Con Philadelphia at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, as announced today by Wizard World, Inc. (OTCBB: WIZD).

Tennant will appear Saturday and Sunday, May 9-10; Piper will attend Sunday, May 10, only. They will greet fans, sign autographs, pose for dual and solo photo ops and conduct a Dual interactive Q&A panel. The show will also mark the second Wizard World appearance for Tennant, who was a huge hit last weekend in Raleigh, N.C., and the first for Piper.

Fans who purchase VIP admissions, available at http://wizd.me/PhiladelphiaPRAdmissions, will be guaranteed autographs, photo ops and seating at the panel. It is unlikely general admission sales will be available.

Since his early work on local Scottish television through roles in some of the most beloved fantasy and sci-fi franchises of all time, Tennant has been entertaining audiences with his unique brand of wit, warmth and humanity.

In 2005, Tennant lived out a childhood dream by being cast as the indomitable Doctor Who. Tennant’s run as the Tenth Doctor won massive praise from fans and critics alike, with the readers of Doctor Who magazine voting him “Best Doctor.” Tennant’s run as the Doctor lasted five years and made an indelible impact on the series and its appeal not only among longtime fans but converts as well. His final appearance as the Tenth Doctor was for the 50th anniversary special “The Day of the Doctor,” a landmark event in the series’ history that brought together the series’ past, present and future.

Piper’s career started at just 15 when she became the youngest artist to ever debut at number one; since then she has gone on to become one of Britain’s most beloved and acclaimed actresses winning over audiences, critics and award panels alike, covering almost every area of performance. In 2003, she was selected to play Alison in the BBC’s adaptation of The Miller’s Tale. The show was a success and less than a year later she had landed parts in several films and BBC 2’s Bella and the Boys, a drama focusing on three residents of a children’s care home.

However, success really peaked for Billie when she was chosen to play the part of Rose Tyler. She went on to receive several awards including, “Most Popular Actress,” “Best Actress” and “Breakthrough British Talent” at numerous different ceremonies.

The pair join a strong lineup of stars at Wizard World Comic Con Philadelphia which already includes Ben McKenzie (“Gotham”), Nathan Fillion (“Firefly,” “Castle”), Stephen Amell (“Arrow’), Hayley Atwell (“Agent Carter”), Karl Urban (Star Trek, The Lord of the Rings), Danny Trejo (Machete, Machete Kills), Penn Badgley (“Gossip Girl,” Easy A), Michael Cudlitz (“The Walking Dead,” “Southland”), Lacey Chabert (Mean Girls) and more.

Wizard World Comic Con events bring together thousands of fans of all ages to celebrate the best in pop-fi, pop culture, movies, graphic novels, cosplay, comics, television, sci-fi, toys, video gaming, gaming, original art, collectibles, contests and more. Wizard World Comic Con Philadelphia show hours are Thursday, May 7, 3-8 p.m.; Friday, May 8, 12-7 p.m.; Saturday, May 9, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; and Sunday, May 10, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

NW_ElementalEvil_EarthBeacon

March 13, 2015 — When we first announced Neverwinter: Elemental Evil in January, our team was excited to introduce the community to our biggest expansion launch for Neverwinter to-date. With our efforts to revamp nearly all of our in-game systems, including the introduction of the level cap increase and the new Oathbound Paladin class, our plan was more ambitious than we had anticipated.

Consequently, we have made the decision to delay the launch of Neverwinter: Elemental Evil to April 7.

We appreciate your patience as we take this extra time to make sure the Neverwinter: Elemental Evil experience lives up to our expectations. Our team is extremely excited for players to experience the new story, zones, critter groups and additional new changes coming to our game in April. Razer Seiren Microphone Review (Tech)

Razer-Seiren-Microphone-3

Razer has been putting out a variety of products in recent years. Like TV pilots, some go on to succeed and others fade away. What is important in this pursuit, however, is that Razer is a company not afraid to branch out and try new things. The Hydra motion controller, for example, had terrific 1:1 motion translation – it just lacked developer support. Branching out into the world of high quality USB microphones, they have rolled out the Seiren. The Seiren has a host of features which readily lends itself to the podcaster, Twitch streamer, or YouTube filmmaker. In terms of its looks, the Seiren is very classy with a black aluminum body and metal grill, as well as a glowing Razer logo which is always a nice visual touch on their products (Note: You can turn this light-up logo off via a button on the bottom of the Seiren). Additionally, there is a built-in OLED display on the microphone which serves as a display for things like volume and what polar audio pattern the microphone is using.

Retailing for $179.99, the Razer Seiren is a high quality USB microphone with three 14mm condenser capsules and four polar audio patterns: cardioid, stereo, omnidirectional, and bidirectional. You can switch between these polar audio modes by way of an easy-to-use control knob on the microphone itself. Razer’s Seiren microphone also features a nifty mute toggle-button which glows green or red depending on whether it is enabled or not – this is very handy for those dimly-lit recording studios out there.

The Razer Seiren also features a built-in 16ohms headphone amplifier in case you want to plug in a monitor – something the prosumers and musicians out there will enjoy greatly. For those of you who don’t know what a monitor is, it is a pair of headphones or small speaker that outputs exactly what the microphone is picking up. For musicians, this can be a life saver as it is easier to hear your own pitch and performance so you can adjust on the fly. If you want to take your Razer Seiren even further, you can purchase an  optional shock mount and pop filter. Anyone serious about clear audio should consider this option as hissing and popping can put a damper in your audio recording day. The Razer Seiren is compatible with the Razer Synapse 2.0 control suite and that is where you will find the options to change the microphones sampling and bit rates.

Microphone Specifications

  • Power required / consumption: 5V 500mA (USB)
  • Sample rate: 192kHz
  • Bit rate: 24bit
  • Capsules: Three 14mm condenser capsules
  • Polar patterns: Stereo, cardioid, omnidirectional, bidirectional
  • Frequency response: 20Hz – 20kHz
  • Sensitivity: 4.5mV/Pa (1kHz)
  • Max SPL: 120dB (THD: 0.5% 1kHz)
  • Headphone amplifier
  • Impedance: > 16ohms
  • Power output (RMS): 130mW
  • THD: 0.009%
  • Frequency response: 15Hz – 22kHz
  • Signal-to-noise ratio: 114dB

razer_logoRazer has even created the Razer Sponsored Streamer Program out there to help budding podcasters, streamers, and musicians get their content online. This is a three-tier program, each tier dependent on your current level of experience and popularity. The first tier allows beginners to pick up the Razer Seiren bundle and non-pro Razer headphones for 25 percent off. With that, you also have a change of getting your stream/content featured on Razer’s social media channels for more exposure. You can click here for more information on the Razer Sponsored Streamer Program.

Overall, the Razer Seiren USB microphone is an excellent choice for geeks looking to stream on Twitch, host videos on YouTube, or create their own podcasts. The range of audio profiles available just by turning a knob offers a “keep it simple, stupid” approach that even a beginner can pick up. Its audio quality is excellent and the microphone easily holds its own against competitors from Blue, AT, and Rode.
