World of Warships: Legends Early Access Console Date

NICOSIA, CYPRUS (MARCH 7, 2019) — World of Warships: Legends is gearing up to release on PlayStation®4 and Xbox One with the announcement of some key upcoming dates for sailors looking to embark on an exciting new voyage. Starting from March 22-24, Wargaming will offer players the chance to hit the waves and take part in the final round of Closed Beta testing, and will later release a selection of Founder’s Packs that offer exclusive in-game rewards!

Over 200,000 battles were fought during the first Closed Beta weekend, and Wargaming and its players are looking to smash that record again! Players who register at wowslegends.com will have the chance to participate in the final round of Closed Beta testing from March 22-24. The latest version of the game boasts new content and features like the British nation, 14 more ships, revamped lighting effects, plus Russian and French language support.

Registering at the official World of Warships: Legends website will also reward players with a treasure trove of in-game rewards at launch, including Premium Currency, Boosters, and special customization items.

Next, it’s smooth sailing to Early Access! After the Closed Beta weekend has ended, a selection of special Founder’s Packs will be available from the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store. The World of Warships: Legends Premium, Deluxe, and Ultimate packages offer three different tiers of content to prepare early adopters for launch, with up to two months of Premium time and four rare, powerful warships included. The developers at Wargaming St. Petersburg are hard at work on even more epic content for the Early Access launch of World of Warships: Legends on April 16 and beyond! Players will be able to wage wars across five new maps, and enjoy stunning oceanic vistas with glorious HDR support on PlayStation®4 and Xbox One X. Full 4K support will be available on PlayStation®4 Pro and Xbox One X later in the summer too!

Television (WBTV) will test the physics of funny one last time at WonderCon 2019 with The Big Bang Theory’s final appearance, unveilThe 100’s sixth season premiere (on a brand-new planet) and deliver Warner Bros. Animation’s (WBA) newest superhero fix — DC Super Hero Girls. All three series will be out in force during the fan fest in Anaheim, including special video presentations and Q&A sessions on Saturday, March 30, celebrating The Big Bang Theory (Thursdays at 8/7c on CBS) with the hit comedy’s writers, as well as the new animated series DC Super Hero Girls (premiering Friday, March 8, at 6/5c on Cartoon Network, before moving to regular time period of Sundays at 4:00 p.m. ET/PT). Sunday, March 31, brings the exclusive season six world premiere screening of The 100 (premiering Tuesday, April 30, at 9/8c on The CW).

It all starts this year on Friday night, June 7, 2019, with an all-new EA PLAY kickoff event. We’re skipping the press conference this year and are replacing it with multiple live streams that will air during the first two days of the event, bringing you more of what you’ve told us you want – more gameplay and insights from the teams making the games.
Weekends are meant for play, and this year we’ve moved the EA PLAY fanfest to Saturday, June 8 and Sunday, June 9 where players will get hands-on with our games. We’ll also have content creators streaming live from our Creator’s Cave in the Hollywood Palladium providing gameplay content to our players viewing online. EA.com will be the home for all online EA PLAY content.
Players can get behind-the-scenes with our games via exclusive gameplay reveals, developer talks and breaking news.

Operation Burnt Horizon Available Now for Rainbow Six Siege

SAN FRANCISCO — March 6, 2018 — Today, Ubisoft announced that Operation Burnt Horizon, the first season of Year 4 of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six® Siege, is now available for PC, PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Xbox One. Operation Burnt Horizon brings two new Operators, Mozzie and Gridlock alongside with a new map: Outback, set in a forgotten service station on a lost Australian highway.

Owners of the Year 4 Pass can play with the new Operators starting today. Other players will be able to unlock these Operators starting March 13 using Renown or R6 Credits. The brand-new Outback map and new content improvements are now available for free to all players.

Operation Burnt Horizon:

In Operation Burnt Horizon, players will meet two new Operators: Mozzie, an Australian Defender, that can hack Attackers’ drones and take control of them with his Pest Launcher. Having Mozzie in the team give a significant advantage to the Defenders, and Attackers would be better watch their drones if they do not want to lose crucial intel.
Gridlock is an Australian Attackers who can deploy barbed mats capable of slowing down and hurting Defenders stepping on them. This feature, unique for an Attacker, enables them to use the Trax as an obstacle to reshape the map and control an area.
In addition, players will discover the lost Australian highways in the new Outback map, an homage to the forgotten service stations lost in the Australia’s Red Heart. Outback is a medium-sized map packed with twists, turns, and Australiana, and is filled with unexpected corners and souvenirs from the Great Southern Land.
Operation Burnt Horizon also features a series of iconic themes of Australia and a new Hibana Elite Set.

Newcomer Playlist & Playlists updates

A brand-new newcomer playlist for players under level 50, to help them learn the basics of Rainbow Six Siege. They will play the Bomb mode of classic maps most representative of the game’s core gameplay, namely Chalet, Bank, and Consulate. Attackers will vote for a team spawn point while on the Defenders’ side, the bomb sites will be automatically pre-selected by the game.

The Casual playlist will now improve the flow between the Newcomer and Ranked and has been updated. Finally, to stabilize the Ranked gameplay experience, the required minimum level has been raised to 30.

CCP Games Announces 10K Player Deathmatch in EVE: Aether Wars

6 March 2019 – London, United Kingdom – CCP Games, the creators of the in-depth and uniquely player-driven spaceship MMO game EVE Online, has announced a partnership with deep tech start-up Hadean for EVE: Aether Wars, a groundbreaking tech demo that will explore opportunities for largescale multiplayer simulation in CCP’s current and future games.

Hadean is the creator of Aether Engine, the world’s first distributed simulation engine that allows developers to create cloud-native games with unprecedented gameplay possibilities. As announced last month, Aether Engine will be powered by Microsoft Azure to allow developers to seamlessly scale their applications at increased speed and ease across the cloud.

Aether Engine will receive its first public showing at GDC 2019 through EVE: Aether Wars, a real-time 10,000 player space deathmatch. To participate, prospective players can sign up for free by visiting www.aetherengine.io/pvp-10k to provide their details.

The EVE: Aether Wars tech demo will be followed by a lightning talk from CCP Games’ CEO Hilmar V. Pétursson and hosted by Hadean. ‘Emergent Game Design: What has CCP learnt over the years?’ will take place at Stand S366 at 11:00 PST on Wednesday 20 March.

CCP is providing EVE Online and EVE: Valkyrie assets for use in the Aether Engine, enabling Hadean to focus on addressing the challenges faced by developers within large-scale online multiplayer environments. The ongoing collaboration between the two companies will seek to explore the potential for substantial changes to the technical infrastructure of EVE Online.

The EVE Online community currently holds the Guinness World Record for “most concurrent players simultaneously involved in a single multiplayer PvP videogame battle” with 6,142 players on 23rd January 2018.
