Ghost Town Alive Returning to Knott’s Berry Farm

Buena Park, Calif (May, 2017) Starting May 27^th through September 4^th, Ghost Town Alive! returns to Knott’s Berry Farm for another action-packed summer complete with bandits, cowboys, robberies, judges, a good ol’ western hoedown, and much more! Guests can visit the beloved town of Calico and experience an authentic western adventure by becoming a star in this summer’s story of the Wild West, where the power to unlock adventures is in the hands of every guest.

This summer, the story continues a year after the notorious Mayfield Gang escaped the custody of Sheriff Wheeler. Word around town is the Mayfield’s have been spotted back in Calico and the townsfolk are in need of some help in capturing the bandits and keeping the town safe. Ghost Town Alive! will offer guests a firsthand experience to play an important part in this unfolding story of the wild west, with specific tasks and activities and an essential role as an honorary citizen of Calico.

Along with the return of Ghost Town Alive! The whole PEANUTS GANG will amaze and confound with their magical exploits and lavish musical production numbers in this family friendly show! And who knows, guests might find themselves part of the act! Snoopy’s Magnificent Magical Revue will mesmerize on select dates, staringJune 10 – August 20 in the Charles M. Schulz Theatre. The circus returns to town! The renowned “Traveling Circus” returns for another season of exhilarating performances. Set on the Calico Mine stage in Ghost Town, come witness a spectacle; see awe-inspiring stunts, and death defying acrobatics in “Circus of Wonders.” The astonishing 30 minute spectacular will be action packed with all-time favorite circus attractions such as the Trapeze, Tightrope, Aerial Acrobatics, Trampoline, and of course, clowns, incorporating lighting and pyrotechnics, making this nighttime show a totally unique event! The live entertainment continues with the explosive Wild West Stunt Show and the high kickin’ Calico Saloon Show, all in Ghost Town. At the Wagon Camp Stage, get krazy when Krazy Kirk and the Hillbillies mount their toe tappin’, knee-slappin’, gut-bustin’ country comedy show that will have audiences clamoring for more! In the evening a group of krazy talented performers will have guests kicking up their heels with vine dancing, a down home jug band and dueling fiddlers and banjos!

Knott’s also invites guests to celebrate Memorial Day weekend, Fourth of July weekend and Labor Day weekend at the park for a special nighttime firework display. The Buena Park skyline will glow with a brilliant fireworks show on May 28^th, July 1-2 & 4, and September 3rd, exclusively at Knott’s Berry Farm.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 Release Date and Trailer

GHENT, Belgium – May 24, 2017 – Larian Studios has announced that Divinity: Original Sin 2 will launch on September 14, 2017. Much larger than its highly-awarded predecessor, Divinity: Original Sin, the game gives players tabletop RPG-like freedom to complete quests and explore a world like no other. As adults, we have all been to some concert where the music was so loud we wanted to put in ear plugs. Or, perhaps, you needed to protect your hearing during an NHRA race. Obviously, protecting your hearing is important. However, with children, it is especially important to protect their hearing. You see, after the age of 3 months old, any hearing damage can become permanent. Up through the age of 5, hearing damage can also affect the child’s speech and language development. On the flip-side, it is important to let your kids listen to educational programming, music, etc for proper development. How do you balance volume vs music? The Kidz Gear Wired Headphones With Volume Limited For Safety might have the solution.

The Kidz Gear Wired Headphone with Volume Limiting For Safety comes with a nice set of headphones to get you started which are extremely lightweight and comfortable to wear, my wife will probably use them to sleep in since she likes to listen to movies at night but the device will work with a standard jack you would plug headphones into like your phone or an iPod or an airplane or whatever. The secret ingredient is the 7 inch long black cable which acts as a go-between from your audio source to the headphones themselves.

This is great, as it allows you to use it with any other set of headphones. I tried different types of music, rock, classic rock, metal, punk, all that happened with them was a lowered down volume but didn’t sound muffled or distorted. Even bass which surprised me, I figured that would be the first thing that it muffled but it almost seemed like some volume was left in case that was an issue. I had my headset turned all the way up and my iPhone turned all the way up. So if you are relying on the limiter to be your volume control that is the wrong use for it, you should as a parent set the proper levels on the headset for the the child it isn’t designed to replace parenting. It just helps do your job well.

Overall, the Kidz Gear Wired Headphones With Volume Limited For Safety is a long name for a great device that helps protect the hearing of our future citizens and might not be such a bad idea for adults who value their hearing too! For you adults out there, however, I would probably recommend using the volume limiting cable with a pair of headphones designed for the adult human head. It’s a sub $20 dollar investment into your child’s hearing, go do it!

DiRT 4 Wold Rallycross Gameplay Trailer

Larkspur, Calif. – May 23, 2017 – Codemasters and Deep Silver today released the latest DiRT® 4™ trailer showcasing the game’s incredible rallycross content across various classes and circuits. You can view the new action-packed, wheel to wheel trailer on the official DiRT YouTube channel.

DiRT 4 is the official game of the FIA World Rallycross championship and the new gameplay trailer shows Supercars racing at Lohéac Bretagne, Montalegre, Lydden Hill, Hell and Holjes. In addition to the Supercar class, DiRT 4 also has rallycross racing in RX2, Super 1600s, Group B classics and crosskarts making it a fully-fledged rallycross experience.

Developed in consultation from two time FIA World Rallycross Champion, Petter Solberg, the rallycross handling in DiRT 4 has undergone a complete overhaul to ensure it is as close to the real thing as possible.

Rallycross is thrilling multicar, circuit racing on mixed surfaces made up of both dirt and asphalt. The short, quick-fire races take four to six laps and each car must complete at least one ‘Joker Lap’ which is longer than the traditional lap leading to tactical, enthralling wheel-to-wheel racing. Drivers compete in four qualifying races before the top drivers make the semifinals and final. The supercar class in the FIA World Rallycross Championship consists of 600bhp beasts that accelerate from 0-60mph in under 2 seconds – faster than a Formula One car.
