The Elder Scrolls Online – PlayStation 4 Pro Announcement Trailer

September 8, 2016 – Last night at the Sony PlayStation®4 Pro announcement event in New York City, it was revealed that The Elder Scrolls Online will be one of the first games to support the new Sony PlayStation 4 Pro at launch via free game update. We were excited to participate in the event and show off The Elder Scrolls Online running live in the arcade area in beautiful native 4K.

Today we’re releasing a gameplay trailer, showcasing The Elder Scrolls Online running in 4K on a Sony PlayStation 4 Pro. Please find the link to that trailer below.

When the PlayStation 4 Pro launches in November, The Elder Scrolls Online will be immediately playable in native 4K resolution, whether purchased new, or with existing game discs. Since the game was originally designed for a wide range of PC specifications, ZeniMax Online Studios was able to scale up the presentation alongside the scaled up power of the Sony PlayStation 4 Pro. For players, this means that if you play The Elder Scrolls Online on PlayStation 4 Pro with a 1080p HD television, you will experience increased graphical fidelity; if a player uses a 4K monitor, the game will automatically run in 4K.

PS4 Pro Announced with Trailer

September 8, 2016 – Sony Interactive Entertainment Unveils PlayStation 4 Pro, Delivering Enhaced PS4 Experience

Sony Interactive Entertainment today announced the introduction of PlayStation 4 Pro (PS4 Pro) (CUH-7000 series) computer entertainment system, which delivers enhanced experiences through improved image processing capability and support for 4K quality images. PS4 Pro will be available on November 10, 2016, in Japan, North America and Europe at a manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of 44,980 yen, US$399, €399 and £349. This marks the first time ever in the history of PlayStation that a higher-end system will be introduced in the middle of the platform’s lifecycle. PS4 Pro will complement the standard PS4, including the slimmer and lighter model also announced today.

By boosting the performance and capability of the system architecture including the CPU and GPU, PS4 Pro allows games to deliver graphics with far more detail and unprecedented visual precision. Users with 4K TVs will be able to enjoy all PS4 titles in higher quality, such as 4K quality resolution and faster or more stable frame rates. In addition, PS4 Pro supports 4K video playback to deliver 4K streaming video services such as Netflix and YouTube.

HDTV owners will also be able to enjoy the enhanced gameplay experiences on PS4 Pro, as the system delivers 1080p resolution for all PS4 games and higher or more stable frame rates for some supported titles.

Furthermore, looking ahead to the future of imaging technology, all PS4 systems including PS4 Pro will support HDR imaging technology, which enables the reproduction of brightness and darkness while realizing a much wider range of colors. Users who own an HDR-compatible TV will be able to enjoy supported games and other entertainment content with visuals that are more realistic, strikingly vivid and truer to the way the human eye sees the real world.

“Today marks an exciting new milestone for PlayStation as we unveiled the high-end PS4 Pro in the midst of the console lifecycle, catering to gamers who are looking for a heightened PS4 experience,” said Andrew House, President and Global CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment. “By accelerating the innovation cadence at PlayStation, we’re introducing choice in the marketplace, enabling gamers to choose the PS4 model that meets their needs. Ultimately, with titles that leverage the potential of PS4 Pro – plus PlayStation VR launching soon – all PS4 owners continue to benefit from having the best place to play.”

The form factor of the new system inherits the slanted body design of the previous models and the body design consists of three layers of blocks, symbolizing the powerful presence of the PS4 Pro and its solid feel, with mirror finished PlayStation family mark emblazoned at the center of its top surface. PS4 Pro also comes with an additional USB port in the rear in addition to two USB ports in the front for connecting additional devices including the PlayStation VR virtual reality system.

The hard disk drive capacity of the PS4 Pro is 1TB to accommodate more games, demos, download contents and favorite gameplay videos.

Every PS4 game title, including those already available and those launching in the future, will run on all PS4 including PS4 Pro. Furthermore, all the PS4 system employs the same user interface and shares the same online community for multiplayer gaming and network services.

SIE will announce details of PS4 Pro with its robust lineup of games from 3rd party developers and publishers as well as from SIE WWS towards its launch and will continue to further enhance the entire PlayStation ecosystem.

Apple Watch Series 2 Announced

SAN FRANCISCO — September 7, 2016 — Today, Apple® introduced Apple Watch® Series 2, the next generation of the world’s most popular smartwatch. Apple Watch Series 2 is packed with incredible fitness and health capabilities including a water resistance 50 meter rating for swimming,*  and built-in GPS so users can now run without an iPhone®. Apple Watch Series 2 also features a dramatically brighter display and a powerful dual-core processor. Combined with the performance enhancements of watchOS® 3, Apple Watch Series 2 makes it even easier to access third-party apps, receive and respond to notifications and conveniently use Apple Pay®. Apple Watch Series 2 will be available in more than 25 countries beginning Friday, September 16.

“We’re thrilled with the response to Apple Watch and how it’s changed people’s lives. We are committed to fitness and health and think our customers will love the new capabilities of Apple Watch Series 2,” said Jeff Williams, Apple’s chief operating officer. “With a powerful new dual-core processor, water resistance 50 meters and built-in GPS, Apple Watch Series 2 is packed with features to help our customers live a healthy life.”

Fitness & Health

Apple Watch Series 2 is rated water resistant 50 meters for swimming, surfing or just playing in the pool. For swimmers, Apple developed all-new algorithms after hundreds of hours of research for two new workout options, pool and open water. Apple Watch Series 2 can count laps, track average lap pace and auto-detect stroke type to accurately measure active calorie burn.

With built-in GPS, Apple Watch Series 2 records precise distance, pace and speed for outdoor workouts such as walking, running or cycling, without needing to take an iPhone. Users can begin an outdoor workout immediately as Apple Watch Series 2 uses Wi-Fi, GPS and locally stored satellite data to quickly identify their location. On completion of an outdoor workout, view a route map that shows variations in speed in the Activity app on iPhone. Whether running, going for a swim or walking between meetings, the Activity app on Apple Watch Series 2 counts all daily activity towards the Stand, Move and Exercise rings.

Advanced Technology
Apple pioneered the custom designed System in Package (SiP) for Apple Watch, and continues to develop this breakthrough technology with the second generation S2 chip. With a dual-core processor, the S2 chip takes performance to a new level, making Apple Watch up to 50 percent faster. In addition, a new GPU has been added, which delivers up to two-times-greater graphics performance. Apple Watch Series 2 also features a dramatically brighter display — at 1,000 nits, it’s more than two times brighter— making this the brightest display Apple has ever shipped, so it’s even easier to see important information at a glance when outside on a sunny day.

watchOS 3
watchOS 3 features significantly improved performance that makes it even simpler to launch favorite apps instantly, either from the watch face or with the new Dock, which displays the latest information already updated in the background. New fitness and health capabilities include the breakthrough Breathe app, designed to encourage users to take a moment in their day to do deep breathing exercises for relaxation and stress reduction. The Activity app now includes the ability to share, compare and compete, keeping friends and family motivated. There is also a customized experience for wheelchair users to close their Activity rings, in addition to dedicated workouts.

Apple Watch is even more personal with new watch faces including Minnie Mouse, Activity and Numerals. Simply swipe edge-to-edge to swap out a new watch face and with the new Face Gallery in the Apple Watch app on iPhone, it’s even easier to customize watch faces and discover third-party apps.

Apple Watch Series 2 is available with all the new fitness and health capabilities in lightweight aluminum or stainless steel cases, paired with a wide variety of gorgeous new band colors.

Apple Watch Series 1 is available in lightweight aluminum and combines the new powerful dual-core processor and GPU with all the incredible features of the original Apple Watch, making it up to 50 percent faster and available to even more customers, starting at just $269 (US).

TransOcean 2: Rivals Update Trailer

Moenchengladbach/Germany, September 6th, 2016Since May 2016 virtual ship owners have been busy competing for predominance on the seven seas with TransOcean 2: Rivals, now publisher astragon Entertainment and developer Deck13 Hamburg are ready to release a new update that will enhance the game’s single-player endless mode by adding several interesting features.

Ambitious captains with the goal of having their fleet transport large amounts of cargo effectively will now be able to sign lucrative company contracts. These contracts can be signed at the beginning of each month with businesses in regions where the player owns at least one subsidiary. As there will be a huge quantity of goods that needs to be shipped from A to B within a certain amount of time, the ship owner should always keep in mind to assign several ships of his fleet at once to fulfill this contract.

In order to maximize his earnings, the player is of course able to accept several company contracts simultaneously. Here the second new feature of TransOcean 2: Rivals comes into play: Full automationwill make it possible to take these contracts and combine them into a trade route that will then be served automatically by player’s fleet. If there is a repair dock available in one of the route’s harbors, repairs can also be scheduled to take place without further intervention by the ship owner, who can use the time freed up to manage his growing empire and further optimize his routes.
