Oculus Rift has acquired Israeli company Pebbles Interfaces for an undisclosed amount, so sayeth this official Oculus blog post from today. Pebbles Interfaces develops technology that uses custom optics, sensor systems and algorithms to detect and track hand movement. If you can’t see how this directly applies to the next step in Oculus Rift interfaces (none at all) then shame on you!
