MAY 9th, 2014 — STREET FIGHTER: ASSASSIN’S FIST will officially debut in its entirety on May 23 on Machinima (YouTube.com/Machinima)! A thrilling, multilayered series, STREET FIGHTER: ASSASSIN’S FIST, presented by the all-new Honda Fit, takes the audience back to the formative years of iconic characters Ryu and Ken as they live a traditional warrior’s life in secluded Japan. The boys are, unknowingly, the last practitioners of the ancient fighting style known as “Ansatsuken” (Assassin’s Fist). The series follows them as they learn about the mysterious past of their master, Gōken, and the tragic, dark legacy of the Ansatsuken style. Can their destiny be changed, or will history repeat itself?

The full length trailer can be seen here:

Through the coming of age story of Ken & Ryu, we are shown the backstory of some of the game’s most iconic characters, and over the course of the series we will see how the past, present, and future of all of those characters are intertwined, as the battle to become Ansatsuken Master threatens to tear apart another generation of brothers.

The live-action series, which is distributed by Content Media and presented by Honda Fit, is the brainchild of Joey Ansah (The Bourne Ultimatum, Snow White and the Huntsman). Ansah, who also stars in the series (Akuma), wrote the script with Christian Howard, who reprises his role as Ken Masters from the original fan film. The series also stars Mike Moh as Ryu, Togo Igawa (47 Ronin, Memoirs of a Geisha, The Last Samurai) as Gōtetsu, Akira Koieyama as Gōken, Gaku Space as Gōki, Mark Killeen (300: Rise of an Empire, The Dark Knight Rises) as Mr. Masters, and Hal Yamanouchi as Senzo.

The series is produced by Assassin’s Fist Limited (a UK based company) in association with Lonely Rock Productions, Gloucester Place Films, Capcom U.S.A., Inc. and Evropa Film.

Burst Wizard King Kong Super 2 MOSFET Review (Airsoft)

AC-UPI-BW-KK

The Burst Wizard King Kong Super 2 MOSFET is an excellent add-on to your airsoft gun. The Burst Wizard King Kong Super 2 plugs in between your airsoft gun’s battery connector and battery itself, allowing plug-and-play attachment to your airsoft gun. In this out of the box, plug and play mode, it replaces your normally full-auto fire mode with a three-round burst fire mode – something that a lot of players ask for. This feature alone is worth the price of admission if you desire a more controlled usage of your ammunition – midcap and standard capacity magazine players, take note!

The Burst Wizard King Kong Super 2 also includes a wiring kit to hard-wire it into your airsoft gun – thereby allowing it to function as a true MOSFET, protecting your trigger contacts as well as a multitude of other features. The instructions are very easy to follow and, if you have some experience teching your airsoft guns, you shouldn’t have too much trouble with them. As for me – I rely on the folks over at Tsunami Airsoft in Orange, CA for my tech work and they had my airsoft gun back to me in just a couple days.

Video Review

Aside from the three-round burst feature, I really enjoyed the ability to set a realistic reload function for players who only bring hicap magazines on to the field. What this option does is use a user-programmed number of shots, after which time the gun will be inactive for a set number of seconds. Why it does this is to simulate the amount of time it would have taken you to reload a lesser-capacity magazine. Some fields disallow the use of hicaps – so this could be a nice way to still play there if that’s all you carry in your loadout.

Overall, the Burst Wizard King Kong Super 2 MOSFET is easily worth its weight in functionality. We can easily award it a 5 out of 5 stars for its low price, plug-and-play operation, as well as the ability to be hardwired into your airsoft gun. It retails for $37.99 at several online airsoft retailers as well as its manufacturer’s product page.

Dying Light Delayed Until February 2015

dying-light-248732545269799_854105431_o

May 8th, 2014 — We know you’ve been waiting on a Dying Light release date for quite some time now. After careful consideration, we have decided to release our upcoming game in February 2015. Since this means Dying Light will launch a few months later than originally planned, we feel obliged to explain the reasons that influenced this important decision.

When we started the development of Dying Light, we were committed to innovation. We wanted to give you a freedom of movement unprecedented in open-world games. After many improvements and months of hard work, we have now come so close to realizing our initial vision we feel we cannot stop before it is ready.

We believe the Natural Movement element of our game will change what you expect from the genre, and we don’t want to sacrifice any of its potential by releasing too early. This quality-focused thinking underlines all our development choices and we hope you share our belief that the gameplay must always come first.

The new date ensures that we can fully realize our vision of an innovative open-world game. We won’t need to make compromises or trade-offs on any of the five platforms we’re working on. For you, it means an outstanding, original game that makes the wait more than worthwhile.

Finally, we would like to thank our publishing partner, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, which fully supports our decision. It’s a real pleasure to work in an environment where quality is universally accepted as the top priority. We believe that this is the only way to make truly incredible games.
We also have an additional announcement for you: starting next month at E3 2014, we’ll be telling you much more about all the exciting features and different aspects of Dying Light. Stay tuned!

– Dying Light Team

The Elder Scrolls Online Console Version Delayed

377157_theelderscrollsonline_screenshot_daedroth_1_medium

May 8, 2014 — We’ve been grateful to our fans for the wonderful response to our recent launch of The Elder Scrolls Online for PC/Mac, but we know many of you are eagerly waiting to play the game on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

We continue to work on the console versions of ESO, and game development has been progressing steadily, but we are still working to solve a series of unique problems specific to those platforms. Integrating our systems with each console manufacturer’s networks — which are both different from the PC/Mac system as well as different from each other—has been a challenging process. It has become clear that our planned June release of the console versions isn’t going to be possible. Though we have made great progress, we have concluded that we’ll need about six months to ensure we deliver the experience our fans expect and deserve.

We know that the news of an ESO console delay is as disappointing to many of you as it is to us. We want to do what we can to make it up to our fans who want to start playing now, so we have worked out the following arrangement with Sony and Microsoft:

Via a special offer, anyone who purchases and plays the PC/Mac version of The Elder Scrolls Online by the end of June will have the opportunity to transfer their character(s) to either console version when they are released. The offer will allow you to begin playing immediately on the PC/Mac, and then add the PS4 or Xbox One version and transfer the character(s) you have created and developed. And, you don’t have to pay full price for the game twice. For $20, eligible PC and Mac players will have the option to add a full, digital version of ESO on either the PS4 or the Xbox One with your character transfer(s), and another 30 days of included game time.

Whether you decide to take advantage of this offer or not, we promise to do everything we can to get the game released on both consoles as quickly as we can. We will keep everyone updated with additional details regarding character transfers, specific offer dates, when you can expect console beta to start, and of course, when ESO on consoles will launch.

Thank you for your patience and loyal support.

AirDrop Gaming to Showcase FPS Red Dot at E3 2014

LOS ANGELES (May 7, 2014) – AirDrop Gaming, a Michigan gaming startup, will showcase its first product innovation, the HipShotDot, at the 2014 E3 Convention. The gaming accessory has its sights set on improving performance for first person shooter enthusiasts.

The company’s first product, the nationally available HipShotDot, helps gamers aim faster, earn more points and get the jump on fellow shooters in multi-player matches. The first of its kind gaming accessory was invented by Tim Murphy. A lifelong gamer, Murphy developed HipShotDot using his electrical skills acquired as a radar technician in the US Navy, and his corporate experience as an industrial designer for a Fortune 500 company.

“With the level of competition and big money competitive gameplay increasing every year, we are aiming to improve gamers’ performance and overall gaming experience,” said Murphy. “We believe avid gamers will gravitate towards premium and super premium gaming accessories that will give them any possible advantage over the competition.”

HipShotDot, which works with every popular gaming console, is a patented, USB powered LED aiming assist device that attaches temporarily to a gamer’s screen. In first person shooter video games, where the environment rotates around a static aim point, the HipShotDot enhances the user’s vision of their crosshairs, making aiming faster and more accurate. In first person shooter games, every split-second counts, whether it’s to beat a difficult level in a campaign or earn points in multi-player matches.

The HipShotDot is now available nationally though several national retailers with an MSRP of $29.99. To experience the HipShotDot at E3, visit us at the INNEX Booth, #5536 West Hall.

Crimes & Punishments Gets Release Date and Screenshots

crimes&punishments-19 copy

MAY 7th, 2014 – Crimes & Punishments, the new investigation game developed by Frogwares studio, is now set for release on consoles and PC early September 2014! Previously announced for PlayStation®4, PlayStation®3, Xbox 360® and PC, we can now officially confirm that Crimes & Punishments will also be released on Xbox One®.

On this occasion, discover 3 new screenshots of the game, featuring Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson investigating some of the crime scenes from the 6 exceptional cases the game asks you to solve. You will have to exploit the incredible gifts and talents of Sherlock, such as his ability to guess the details of an individual’s life simply by observing them, or to imagine and reconstruct a past event by studying the key features of a crime scene, in order to find out the truth. But what will you do with your suspects? Will you listen to your moral sense, or will you impartially enforce justice?

Maximum Games, exclusive North American distributors of the title, will be previewing the game at E3 this June. “Crimes and Punishments arrives at a very unique and exciting time given the recent phenomenon of Sherlock Holmes in the United States,” said Christina Seelye, CEO of Maximum Games. “It’s not enough to say that the game will be popular among fans. More than that, Crimes and Punishments gives players a chance to embody the character they respect so much. Instead of merely watching Sherlock’s amazing abilities, players are dropped into scenarios where they must use their detective skills as Sherlock would.”

Crimes & Punishments will be released on PlayStation®4, Xbox One®, PlayStation®3, Xbox 360® and PC early September 2014.
