Razer has unveiled its first production gaming laptop with the Blade. The Blade features an Intel i7 2640 CPU as well as an Nvidia GT 555M mobile GPU. It also features a 17″ inch LED display yet is only 0.88″ inch thick! This is quite different than the smaller Switchblade (which we thought they might reveal today), as it only features ten LCD keys and is larger in size. Thankfully, it will be equipped with Switchblade UI system, which we saw at CES and looked great. The Blade will retail for $2799.99 and will be available in the fourth quarter of this year.

“The Razer Blade was designed to give gamers a laptop they could truly use on the go,” said Min-Liang Tan, CEO and Creative Director, Razer. “Its sleek, lightweight aluminum construction makes it the thinnest 17-inch gaming laptop available today.”
